Chest has very nice carved feet front and back with bowed top as well as bowed front. It measures approx 22" tall including swivel mirror. 12 1/4" wide at feet, and 9" deep at feet and has 2 small drawers at top and l larger drawer at bottom. Mirror is in fine condition. The small drawers each measure approx 5 3/8" x 4" x 2 1/2" deep. The one on the right has a smaller pull than the others but it appears to have been put on at the same time. Bottom drawer measures approx 9 3/8" x 8" x 3 3/8" deep. Bottom drawer has original lock(no key) and is lined with a silver color paper which appears to be very old. Which consists of a large dresser and a matching chest of drawers. The ... moreset is crafted from an unusual color of wood, which I think might be Pecan as it is lighter in color than most other woods and has a fine grain, somewhat similar to Walnut. The dresser has 8 full size drawers and three smaller drawers on the top. The middle drawer has only a key hole to open it while the others have matching drawer pulls. The drawers all feature dovetailed woodworking. The chest of drawers has 6 full size drawers with the top drawer featuring a lock(the key is included and taped inside of the top drawer and visible in one of the pictures) I'm uncertain if the one key works on both locks but I think they would as the key isn't a complicated design. Both pieces of furniture have glass tops that are in good shape. Both pieces feature designs created on the top by using different colored woods and grain patterns, giving a nice break from the solid color that the main furniture body has. The dresser's top left drawer features the Baker metal logo plaque on the inside. The furniture is in very nice shape but there are a few scratches and scuffs that need pointed out. There is a small square piece of veneer(about 1 inch square) that is missing along the bottom edge of the dresser, a little to the right of center. There are also a deeper scratch on the bottom right leg of the dresser and bottom left leg of the chest of drawers. These are shown in the photos. The furniture would benefit from a good cleaning and possible waxing.I'm not certain what type of cleaning or maintenance would be appropriate. Please look carefully at the photos to get a better idea of the true condition this nice old set is still in.I would guess this dates back to the 60s or early 70s. These areas are on the right side edge of the top at the back on both the right and left sides, and one small area on the bottom drawer front next to the front leg. The dresser has a beautifully curved front design similar to a bombe style. The chest of drawers has reeded accents running down both sides at the front that continues onto all four feet, which are straight and tapering. I have not attempted to clean these and they have a great older patina. 13 of the 15 pulls measure 3.75 inches wide and measure 3 inches between the screw holes. There is one large one that measures 4.25 inches wide and 3 inches between the screw holes. There is one smaller one that measures 3 inches wide that is missing his pull portion. Solid Cherry.....English Antique Furniture Eastlake dresser commode...circa 1810
This is a charming English made solid cherry antique dresser circa 1810. I acquired this from a couple who came to the United States from England. This piece is consistent with English cabinetmaking.This is made from solid cherry planks. The candle stands which flank the mirror are wonderful.The carvings and hand turned finials are beautiful. The hardware is all original except for the 2 small upper drawers which is new. All of the lower drawers have locks which work excellently with a new key. The hand cut dovetail joinery and hand chamfered drawer bottoms are beautiful. The drawer fronts are 1" thick solid cherry, there is no veneer on this entire piece.The secondary wood is poplar. The mirror glass is new.The mirror is on tilting mounts(it does not stay fixed when tilted. Just let in hang vertically) This piece has lots of battle ... morescars(nicks, dings etc) and some repairs earned over its lifetime such as dings in both side panels about the size of a"pea" The top(across the full width.left to right) has an age separation shrinkage crack which I repaired(you can still tell there was a crack despite the repair(see photo) some drawer bottoms have age shrinkage separations,there are some age shrinkage separations(cracks) in the side panels, worn edges, small stains in the top and character marks consistent with any fine antique.I refinished the top and the mirror frame, after repairing a missing piece of wood around the mirror thumb screw. The inlaid brass keyhole escutcheons are all in place. Most of the dresser has the original finish with a gorgeous patina as you can easily see in the mirror support photos etc. This wonderful piece will look beautiful wherever you decide to place it whether an entryway. Bedroom or living room.I restored all of the drawers and reinforced some internally with wood blocking.The drawers are strong, stable and they slide excellently.I t has such delicate graceful lines which sets it apart from the crowd. all the best. Vanity with mirror, and bench This furniture belonged to my grandmother who was born in 1898 The markings on it say"Colonial Furniture Company Bassett Virginia 1936" These pieces have not been refinished and have nicks. Scratches, and a couple of cigarette burns. The bench has been recovered and the fabric is in good condition The dresser measures 17 1/2" deep x 46" high x 32" wide. The vanity measures 17" deep x 28" high x 45" wide. The vanity mirror measures 34" high x 22" wide. Spectacular"Highly Figured Sold Maple" Chest of Drawers Circa 1895 I fully restored this lovely piece.It features incredible"highly figured" solid maple with Birdseye maple veneers on the oxbow top drawer fronts.All of the brass hardware. Including the key hole covers are original.As you can see the hardware is the icing on this cake! The original drawer locks are all in place and in excellent working order using the beautiful key I had made.The top of the dresser has incredible patina and some of the finest grain figuring you will see.The top is first class all the way. All of the drawers were totally rebuilt and slide like silk. The drawers feature the sought after dovetail joinery. I restored the finish all by hand using a custom rich stain to achieve the highlighted rich burgundy followed by many. Many coats of hand ... morerubbed varnish.When you rub your hands over the finish you will feel the superb depth and notice the beauty of the amazing maple grains. This is a"bonnet top" dresser meaning the top two drawers protrude and overhand the lower level drawers. The sides have great architectural design with the paneled construction.Like any fine antique. This piece has minor imperfections and character marks in the wood. The posts which hold the drawer handle in place are brass plated steel, some of the plating has worn off after 135 plus years.The photos show casters in the legs, they will not be included.I find they tend to split the legs.There is a knot depression on the upper left side(see photo) I think it adds character and figuring just like the top of the dresser. This piece is solid. This piece is really something to see! Salesman Sample Vanity Dresser with 3 Drawers I am unsure of the origin/maker; it is marked with a"KL" or"V" I can't quite tell) with the number 45 underneath. It appears to be skillfully crafted by hand. I am unaware if the red paint was original or added at a later date. The entire sample is constructed out of wood. Even the small knobs, and the mirror has signs of aging from it's time period. The style almost looks oriental. But either way it is very beautiful! Here we have an antique 1940's hard wood TRIANGULAR SHAPE chest of 4 drawers. We were told it is from the late 30's early 1940's. This dresser/ cabinet measures 39-1/2" in height. 24" long across the bottom at the longest part- 1" at the top of the triangle- across the front. This is 17-3/4" wide. Made in Mexico. Has a veil of white overspray on the right side and across part of the front. There are some scratches and a couple of small chips out of the wood. See pics. Use the zoom feature. Up forauction this Antique Salesman Sample Dresser. This was purchased at an auctionand they represented it as such. It could possibly be doll furniture butjudging by the size. Design, granite top and the intricate wood work we don’tthink it is, either way it’s a great piece. We couldn’t find any marks sodating it is difficult but it looks early. This piece is carved and designed likean Eastlake piece and could possibly be an Eastlake salesman sample. Input inthis area is welcome. It has a great granite top with red, grey and white veinsrunning through it, a very unique feature that we haven’t seen very often. Thedrawer faces are carved as well. They’re lined in pink velvet and the cutelittle knobs look to be porcelain. Antique Big Victorian Bedroom Decor Furniture Dresser 1850 Mirror Brush Set
Hello- This is a very special True Victorian Hairbrush Mirror from at the LATEST 1850! The Amber-Yellow glass indicates this. And is never reproduced. When looking into the Etched Amber Glass, Your face is surrounded by the flowers just like my camera is if you can imagine, and your face has an amber glow. I placed it on the 50's mirror so that you can see the difference in the glass's. The big round mirror is part of the set. The Victorian Curling is genuine, I'm not positive of it's age, But these were used even into the 1920's. The brush measures approx. 10" long x 3 1/3" at the widest. And has a wooden brush area to hold the bristles. The metal is a bit tarnished from age, a magnet does not stick to it and I don't know what kind of metal it is. There is some loss to the etching of the flowers, but not ... moretoo much and is still in wonderful condition. The curling iron is approx. 10" long. With a thin crimping rod for"pin curl" size curls. The round mirror has some tarnishing from age. A magnet does not stick to it. The mirror measures approx. 12" long x 9" at the widest. 4 piece bedroom set. pictures 3.4,5 are the tall dresser.all dimensions are approximate.42.5" tall by 38"wide by 18"deep.has 3 cigarette burns on top.picture 5,bottom drawer guide is cracked but drawer still slides in and out.2cnd drawer has the divider in it. pictures 6.7,8,9,10 are the 2 end tables with drawers 30.25"tall by 22" long by 15.25"deep.picture 6 end table was sanded down and verathane stain applied to all but middle section above drawers.this area is a bit darker.the other one has a rough top. picture 11.12 is the long dresser.30" tall by 52"long by 18" deep.stains on front drawers and a little gouge on drawer face.all pieces are old and show signs of wear.will benefit from a good sanding and some stain.all pieces have the conant ball stamp in drawer except for one small end table. ... morelocal pick up only.i live in mount vernon.Wa which is about 1 hour north of seattle.may consider delivery within 100 miles for $100.00 delivery fee.

Antique Hand Carved Solid Oak Furniture Part Basket of Flowers Shelf Dresser Bed Here we have a very lovely solid oak furniture part. I’m not quite sure what it went to… it could have gone to a bed. A dresser, or an armoire. It has a mortise and tenon construction, and I believe it dates back to the 1870s or before. It would make a perfect wall shelf bottom. It is carved from one solid piece of wood with the exception of the two long pieces of wood on the back. It measures 50-1/4” long(44-7/8” without tenons) 10-7/8” high, and 1-1/2” thick(the solid board measures 7/8” thick. It’s a great piece for a project. Or just as a wall hanger.
