Each door is made of solid white pine and has 10 windows. Unfortunately. 6 glass lites are broken, so only 14 out of the 20 glass lites are intact. The door has a solid, birch core covered with 1/8" thick, birch veneers. The door is finished on both sides, but there are spots and patches of paint here and there. There are 5, horizontal, raised panels on both sides of the door. Also, please don't think that"veneer" means inferior quality. Unlike the paper-thin veneers used on modern doors and furniture. These veneers are almost 1/8" thick and provide strength and stability to the door. The door could be sanded and refinished several times before the door would need to be re-veneered. Hardware: The door is not equipped with any hardware. However. W e have a good selection of period ... morehardware in our eBay store. The door is made of solid, Douglas Fir or pine, and is painted on both sides. It has a lovely arrangement of 15, true-divided, glass lites. The door was previously used as a"swinging door. which means that it had a spring-loaded, pivot hinge installed in it's bottom corner, and swung both forward and backward like a saloon style door. The door no longer has it's pivot hinge or push plates. However, just because it was used as a swinging door, doesn't mean that you have to. We could cut off the rounded sides and trim the door to 30"W, or we could cut and then add to the sides to widen it to 32" or wider.
