Condition: Please note that we will repair the following for free with the purchase of the doors: One door has a 3/8" gap between the top rail and lock stile; a strip of molding is loose; one lite is broken. On the other door. One glass lite is broken; the top corner of the lock stile is chipped; a piece of molding is missing from one of the windows; and a strip of wood is loose at the bottom of the door. Otherwise. Both doors are strong, sturdy, and in great shape with only surface scrapes, scratches, small nail holes-minor cosmetic blemishes, which would be removed during the finishing process or covered if painted. Refinish/Repaint: We could refinish. Repaint, or partially or completely strip the doors to prepare them for you to repaint or refinish. We had 6 pairs at one time. The door has a solid pine core with 1/8" thick birch veneers and 12 wavy glass lites. Please don't think that"veneer" means inferior quality. Unlike the paper-thin veneers used on modern doors and furniture. These veneers are 1/8" thick and provide strength and stability to the door. Although there are 12 windows. Only 10 wavy glass lites are installed. Unfortunately, 2 glass lites are missing. We could either custom cut new pieces from our collection of old glass. Or we could order new glass lites(i.e. beveled, tempered, leaded, stained, etc. and install them- email us for a quote. Hardware: The door is currently not equipped ... morewith any hardware. Penn Antique Restoration. 31.5"x79.5"x1.75" Antique French Swinging Door w/10 Windows. Elegant. Antique, French, interior door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern Ohio. The door is made of solid pine, and has a less common arrangement of 10 windows. 1 lite is missing; 1 is made of Plexiglass and is broken; and 8 of the lites are intact, original, wavy glass. We could replace the broken lite and add a lite in the empty window with 2 pieces custom cut from our collection of old glass for $25. Hardware: The door is equipped with a spring-loaded. Double-action hinge and 1 hinge cover. However, it's missing the other cover, 2 push plates, and pivot hinge for the top of the door. The door doesn't have a lock. And you could enter and exit a room by simply pushing the door. The door's spring-loaded hinge allows the ... moredoor to swing back and forth. Doors like this are usually installed between a kitchen and dining room. If you would like to use the door as a traditional. Closing door, we could remove the hinge and plug the rectangular hole with a solid block of wood. The door was previously used as a"swinging door. which means that it had a spring-loaded, pivot hinge installed in it's bottom corner, and swung both forward and backward like a saloon style door. The door no longer has it's pivot hinge or push plates. However, just because it was used as a swinging door, doesn't mean that you have to. Each door is made of solid Douglas Fir and features a beautiful assortment of 10 wavy, glass lites. These doors were previously used as"swinging doors. which meant that they had spring-loaded, pivot hinges installed in their bottom corners, and swung both forward and backward like a saloon style door. However, just because they were used as swinging doors, doesn't ... moremean that you have to. We could cut off the rounded sides and trim the doors to 29" or 28" W, or we could cut and then add to the sides to widen to 30" or wider. We could also cut the height of the door to just above of the area where the hinge was installed, or if you need the height or need it taller, we could plug the mortised area and even add to it. Look at the last photos of another door that we modified as an example. Condition: Door#1: On the exterior side of the door. There is a break in the top of the hinge stile. Vintage swinging door as shown. 1 3/8" thick X 30" wide X 79 1/4" tall. This was an interior door on an enclosed porch and never had a knob or lock-set installed. Brass colored plate on lower hinge is magnetic. Beveled glass is all matching and in good condition. Looks like it is original and never replaced. Pictures should describe but questions are welcome. This is a Vintage/Antique Salvage Architectural Solid SWINGING DOOR with Hinges. Latch and Screws. Gorgeous wood grain with ornate design. It is a medium to dark colored wood, but it shows up lighter in the pictures with flash(had to use flash to show wood grain. Measures 32 1/2" tall x 19 3/4" wide x 1 1/16" thick.
