You are bidding on/ buying a pair of ANTIQUE SOLID WOOD SALOON SWINGING DOORS. The doors are a set/pair. One right and one left. Front and back sides photos 1& 2. I have a bag of mounting hardware that came with them. I am uncertain if every piece is there. I believe it is a complete original set of installation hardware. Photo 10. Both doors do have the top and bottom swing pegs in place. Photo 11. Both doors measure the same. Down the middle of the door. From the top of the crest to the bottom measures 43 inches. On the hinge/mounting side from top to bottom is 40 1/2 inches. The inside where the doors would meet measures from top to bottom 38 inches. Across they measure 15 inches, and they are 1 1/8 inches thick. There is some small damage to one of the vents Photo 6. And wood chipped on the edge of each door. Photo 7, 8. Antique Pair Swinging Saloon Doors Old Wild West Americana
This is a fabulous pair of antique swinging saloon doors from the old west. They came from the Old West Museum in Harrisburg. PA. The doors are in perfect working order and they have a wonderful old patina. Heavy duty made to last, imagine a gun slinging gambler bursting through these doors looking for trouble, or a game of Pharo. They just don't make them like this anymore. The doors are from the late 1800's to early 1900's and have an aged red finish. They are 53 1/2" wide x 48" high with a 1/2" gap between them. Each door is 24" wide x 42" high. The mounting boards are 48" tall x 3 1/2" thick and 2 1/2" wide. These are an exciting piece of Americana and best of all they have another 100 years of use left in them. An easy item to ship. Saloon doors for 30 inch opening. Height is 40 inches. Original brass colored steel hardware for doorframe with brass bushing to receive the brass posts. The posts on the doors themselves appear to be made of brass. This pair of doors and hardware is complete except for one setscrew on one of the hinges. easily replaced. These doors are not new. They are probably from the 1950s or earlier. There are a few spots of paint on the doors. The doors have a few scratches. There is paint on the hinges. There is also patina on the breast portions attached to the doors. None of the wood slats appears broken or damaged. The door frames themselves are very solid. The only defect I can find is the bottom rail of one door. See last picture. This is a pair of old wooden swinging doors with hinges. Doors are 31" tall in center. At tallest, tapering to 25 5/8" at hinge side. They are each 16" wide, The pair designed for a 32" door opening. These are vintage doors in as found condition. Old red-ish stain or paint has a great patina. They are dusty, but should clean up well. Hinges show some rust, and will need lubrication, but seem functional. A great pair of genuine vintage swinging doors to complete your project. 1850's Old West American Oak Victorian Glass Front SALOON Doors
We are listing these authentic mid-1800's Victorian saloon doors. They were made of American oak in the mid 1850's. They are absolutely gorgeous and in all original condition. They are probably taller than you measuring 78" tall. They are heavy. Around 80 lbs each. I plan on having a mover pick these up at our Cincinnati warehouse, or a shipping company who blanket wraps. These are certainly extermely unique and I would hate to have them damaged. Speaking of damage.the only notable damage is on the back where there a piece of the back oak panel fell off. This can be repaired very easily, but was worth mentioning. The fronts are framed glass. No cracks or damage, but the glass is OLD. The solid oak frames are structurally solid, No wobbly joints. They both have holes drilled in them with sconce mounts on the back. Sconces are ... moremissing. I left these in"as found" condition because I figured whomever purchased these would want to leave them as is or have them refinished. I can recco a local refinisher who can refinish then for around $350 each. FYI. each measure 78" tall x 28" wide. Vtg Antique Wooden Saloon Pub Bar Cafe Swinging Doors original unrestored!
This is a perfect pair of antique swinging saloon doors. I picked them up at an estate sale. They had been used in a man cave if you will. They are original hardware and wood! I thought it best to keep them so, they have scratches and scuffs but no cracks at all. The scratches and scuffs can be easily fixed if you would like to stain them! Pictured is the front and back views and both attaching sides. Hardware to attach is not included. They measure roughly 43 and three quarter inches at their tallest point. About 14 and a half inches wide per door and a little over an inch thick! A great pair of unrestored antique saloon doors! They weigh in at a little over 11 pounds.
