Selling these GORGEOUS antique church doors. Can't seem to find out the actual origin of them. But were removed from an older church. They are extremely heavy, as they have quite a bit of wrought or cast iron on them. Beautiful detailing. Note in first picture, above handle, there were things done to the doors at one point or another to"update" them.such as the deadbolt lock, and there is also a newer door stop on the back. I wanted to do a project with these.still sort of do, but decided I would see if there was someone who would want to purchase them. Pickup only, as these doors have serious weight to them! PAIR Large Tiger Oak Victorian Church Panels Spoon Carved Eastlake Library Doors
Matching pair of ornate. Architectural, salvaged panels, just dying for a little imagination. Solid, quarter sawn oak construction. Square nails mean most likely circa 1865-1885. Starting from the bottom, you have bevelled baseboard trim. Then is a recessed bevelled panel with fluted side columns. Near the top are small carved columns flanking a spoon carved Eastlake panel. Additional Eastlake flowers at top corners with a bevelled arch in between. Some wear/dings but no breaks, missing pieces or repairs. Slight finish imperfections but excellent overall condition. They are substantial Victorian pieces measuring 38 1/2 inches tall, 12 3/4 inches wide, and weigh 13LBS each. Many other ornate furniture pieces listed. all questions encouraged and answered. These are Antique 100+ year old church doors out of a Bradenton Florida Church. Beautiful red leather covered doors. These have very heavy brass handles and brass tacks add design to the outside and inside. Both are doors are exactly the same inside and out. Bottom of doors have some wear but not bad at all for being 100+ years old. there is some paint drips and just general scratches and wear, both doors have a small leaded glass window, original glass, one door has some red and the other door has blue in the glass. outlined in a very nice wood trim. needs cleaning but otherwise excellent condition! Vintage Wood Door Front Frame with Double Doors This old doorfront was from a church. Possibly a cabinet or housing for a section of antique pipe organ. The pine doors open and close, with small metal hinges. The whole unit weighs about 40 lbs. or so. Measures: 69 1/2" high. 39" wide. The doorfront is supported by a frame of 8" boards across top and bottom, and along one side. This is apparent in the photos. Many great uses for this doorfront for your own project. Antique Gothic Glass Panel Church Doors Offered here is this Antique Double Gothic Church Door with vintage glass panels. This door came from a small town in South/Central Texas and was a salvaged purchase. It is Gothic to Renaissance in style and will need to be refurbished since the wood has some scratches. Nicks and miscellaneous small repairs on them. The glass looks to be 1940’s or older with four panels replaced by a different style of glass. These four replaced pieces of glass panels have a starburst/snowflake type pattern while the remainder has a mottled goose-bump style. There are 30 glass panels in total on the two doors. It measures: 68”W x 7’T. A finish carpenter would have to make them conform to your city’s code ordinances as well as bring out the true beauty of these unique doors. I do not know for sure what the wood is made ... moreof. But most likely its mahogany. With a little elbow grease these doors could be brought back to their former glory and history. What a great statement these doors would make in someone’s home, garden, guest room or office. Originally cost us $1200. But reduced price for the finish work that needs to be done. Antique Seven Panel Double Church Doors
Antique seven panel doors which I believe that they are cherry from a church in Pa. These are the original doors from 1907 and have the Bommer spring hinges. The hinges are like an animal trap they are so strong. One set has been removed from the door and one set is on the other door- you will get both sets. There is a few chips of wood off on the bottom of the one door nothing major. Measure 95-1/4" tall x width 31" EACH x depth 3/4" I have other items in my store from this church. Bolts, washers, ring style twist& pull knob, finely designed escuteon) and SOLID BRASS KEYHOLE/LOCKING MECHANISM(NOTE: key NOT included& lock NOT tested) As seen in the pictures/ as described in the title. I have learned virtually nothing about these doors, nor have I found any like doors.nothing even close! Origin, age and original ... moreuse unknown. They certainly have an authentic old look& feel to them.but not quite 400-500 years old, as the materials& style would suggest. My best guess would be middle 19th to turn of the 20th century.I could be way off, either way. Another possibilitly is that the hinges, hardware, latch/lock, etc. could very well be 200 or more years old, used with replacement wood(again. Just speculation/guessing) Perhaps they are/where movie props? Or part of a TV/Theatrical Play's set? Picked from a Sussex County. N.J. estate. Previous owner told me he had recieved them from a contractor friend approximately 40 years ago and has had them in the breezeway ever since. Pair of Victorian 1870's Antique Arched Church Doors, 11' 4" Tall, Old Paint
Here is a great pair of old Arched Church Doors. They are 11 feet 4 inches tall, they fit a 60" opening, doors are actually 59 3/4 across both of them. They are in extremely good condition, for their age, which I would put Pre 1870, by the square nails and the hinges. These doors are not warped, fit together very nice, it has 3 hinges on one door that are still good, their are 2 on the other door that are just half and 1 is broken. Yes it takes 6 hinges 4 1/2" tall, very ornate and Victorian. The old paint is wonderful, Blue and green on the outside and an old red on the inside, both sides show extremely well, because the paint is very old and nice. These have been stored for probably 50 years, There is a splinter missing on one door, and an very old repair and a rough place at the bottom, the repair is under the old paint and these ... moreare hardly noticeable. I took 12 pics, showing everything including the little imperfections. I hate to say imperfections, I believe these are the best doors I've personally ever seen. Dark Wood Church confessional doors
Church of the Assumption- Bellingham. WA is selling it's old confessional doors, 12 in all. They are the original doors, but sound proofing was glued to the backs of them. They have been stored in the basement of the church for 15 years and are in very good condition. Upon request you can get a letter from the pastor about these doors. Dimensions: 30 3/4" wide by 78" tall by 1 3/8" thick.
