My eBay name says it all.liquidators. I was an eBay seller back in 2000 and I sold to meet a financial goal. Life has a way of taking over such that when my goal was hit my inventory just sat in storage. Well. I have to admit not only did it sit but over the years I have added to it. Due to my fiancé in all likelihood having to move overseas due to work in 2015 and me tagging along I HAVE TO liquidate my inventory. And yes, I have that much that I need to start now. So, I will be listing an item auction style and if within a certain time frame it is not sold it is going to a consignment auction house. So, if you like it, get it while the getting is good. Escutcheon, and latch(the alloys of the interior of latch mechanism are unknown) This set has not been cleaned and the rim lock mechanism has not been opened. Each piece is solid with no cracks, repairs or extra holes. The rim lock striker moves freely, the handle spindle fits easily through the lock and operates the striker properly. 2 Vintage Brass Surface Mount Screen Cabinet Door Handle Hardware Lock For sale are these nice locks that I am not entirely sure of the use as there are no keepers but they do lock~ one is more worn and lighter weight so that may be washed or plated the other one that appears to be in nicer condition is a little bit more heavier and the surface is nicer~the locks do go up and down.Maybe could use a little wd40 or some working~the nicer one has paint around the edges~measure approx 1 5/8" x approx 4 1/4,nice lot being sold as you see them in the pics. The set consists of 1 brass knob, 1 brass lever, 1 stamped brass rosette, 1 surface-mount brass rim lock, 1 brass strike plate for the door jamb, and 1 spindle(connecting rod) Except for the rosette, which is thin, stamped brass, all parts are solid, heavy, thick, cast brass. The lock could accommodate the swing of any door. This is not just a passage set; it also has a privacy system. There is a switch on the top of the lock. Which could be lifted and lowered to disable or enable the knob and lever from turning. We found the parts with a nice. Warm patina, which we opted to leave. Penn Antique Restoration. Vintage Brass Screen Door NOS Lockset w/Knob. Lever, Plates, Lock Elegant. Vintage, screen door lockset salvaged from Central New York. The set consists of 1 knob, 1 lever, 2 stamped escutcheons, 1 barrel lock, 1 strike plate for the door jamb, 1 spindle with 2 setscrews to connect the knob& lever, 4 installation screws to secure the escutcheons to the door, and the original box and installation template. All parts are solid brass, not plated steel. We found all parts in their original box(see last photo) The set was made by"Elgin" and distributed by"Sears. Roebuck, and Co. All parts are considered, New Old Stock, which means that they were made a long time ago but was never used or installed. The lock is reversible and could accommodate the swing of any door. Vintage Original Brass Screen Door Knob and rim lock Latch Handle Set 1892
Up for auction is an original vintage screen door knob and rim lock set. This beautiful lock set has a fine patina with a warm vintage paint covering some of it. Dated June 21. 1892 on the back of the lock. This set includes the lock latch piece. The back plate and a knob- handle combination with it's spindle. There is no catch included with this set. The latch piece also has a lock on it opperated from the inside only. The lock measures 3 1/8" x 2" The back plate measures 4" x 1 1/2" The handle measures 1 3/4" long-and the knob measures 1 3/4" in diameter Condition: This set is in great working condition and has a nice antique look to it.
