Most of the brass has remained, but there are a few spots were it has worn away giving them a nice, distressed touch. The pulls were salvaged from central Missouri. At the point of salvage. The pulls were found dirty, lacquered, and heavily tarnished. Since then, we've cleaned them to the best of our ability, trying to preserve as much of the brass plating as possible. The pulls are in excellent condition with only a few nicks and tiny scratches which are common for hardware this old. Otherwise there are no breaks. Cracks, dents, or deep scratches. The lock faceplates were partially painted and the pulls were dirty and rusty(see last photo) Since then, we've removed the paint, and cleaned and polished all parts to the best of our ability. Each pull is made of solid, heavy, thick, cast iron. Originally. All ornate parts were plated with copper, however, much the plating wore off over the years leaving the parts with a nice, distressed finish. At the point of salvaged. The pulls were covered under numerous layers of paint(see last photo) Since then, we've removed the paint, and cleaned and polished all parts to the best of our ability. Antique Victorian Pocket Door Pull Set Bronze Cast Iron Yale & Towne Y&T 8 inch
Included are 4 pocket door pulls. I believe they are Bronze but could be the back is Cast Iron. Please see and enlarge all photos and decide for yourself. They are about 7 7/8" long. About 2 1/4" wide and about 1/4" deep. They are made by Yale& Towne and have the Y&T inside a clover on the back of each plate. For condition, please look at all the photos and enlarge them as that is the best way to describe these. These are dirty and I have not tried to clean them- will leave that to the winner.
