Both knobs are in good condition with no dents. As far as I can tell the knobs are made of steel not brass or copper. There is some light rust or corrosion on the knobs nothing terrible but its there. The back plates are also in good condition with out dents or twists again some light rust and are 6" long and 2" wide at the widest. The latch moves freely but I don't know about the lock as I have no key. A pair each for doors 3/4 and 1-1/2" thick, with knobs 2-1/4 and 1-7/8" in diameter. one of the small sets has a nickel finish and the other 3 have brass finishes) Pair of 2-1/4" knobs on 4" three-piece shaft. two different pairs of matching 2-1/4" knobs(loose) with stippled band and stepped profile. One pair of 2-1/4" knobs with stippled band and smooth profile Three other loose knobs as pictured. 10 2-1/4 by 7" plates for mortise style latch and lock sets. A few are made of solid brass. VINTAGE GLASS FLUTED ? DOOR KNOBS - DOOR PLATES & LATCH PIECE
Vintage/ antique door knob set. I don't know how old these are and I couldn't find any name as to a maker. The glass door knobs are approximately 2" across. One is clear and the other has a pale amber color to it. The one that is more amber in color has two chips to the top edge- one is about 1/2" and the other 1/4" both are located right on the edge and there's a much smaller chip also. These are fluted and have 12 sides. The metal part is maybe copper with a reddish brown finish near the knob and where the screw fits. All pieces where put together when I got this and I took them apart for the pictures and they will remain apart. There is a heavy metal piece that would go inside the door and measures approximately 3 1/4" x 3 3/4" x 1/2" and has a key hole in it. The door plates? are a very nice shape. ... moreMeasure approximately 8 1/2" long x 1 5/8" at the widest part and has key holes in them. Both pieces have rust and old paint on the fronts and back. This is a pair of antique brass door back plates with the handle and thumb latch. They have a nice arts and crafts style stippled backing plate. The plates are 9 inches high and 2 3/8 inches across. The screws in the back are 5 13/16 inches apart. The back plates are identical but one has been clean and relacquered and one is in its original condition. The hardware is not marked but other pieces that came with them were made by Clinton Lock Co. of Clinton. IA and that company may have made these as well. These date to 1900 or before.

Up for bid is a vintage screen door knob w original plates& latch. We believe the middle part of round knob is bakelite but cannot be for sure. The knob turn and the handle plate has its lock that slides as it should. The mechanism will need oiled as when you turn knobs the latch does not go in& out as it should. Antique Closet? Door Knob & Latch w/ Plates Small Vintage Hardware Architectural
Antique knob and latch set These are great older architectural pieces for you to use in your next restoration project. I would imagine that these were intended for use on a closet or pantry door due to their size. The back plates look like they may be porcelain coated. The latch screws or turns to fit on to the spindle. There is no set screw present on the latch. But there is a hole for one to be placed. In my opinion, it feels secure when turning. These are older pieces. They do show some wear. The plates measure approximately 7" tall and 2.25" wide. The knob has an approximate diameter of 2" The latch handle is approximately 2" in length. Set of"4" Antique Corbin door knobs complete with"4" door latches. These are turn of the century solid brass knobs and plates- stamped CORBIN on the inside plate and exterior plate. Comes with the copper protective plate that is stamped with all the patent dates starting with Jan 31 1899 The knobs show very little wear and very minimal nicks and dents. They very heavy and will be heavily wrapped and padded for proper shipping One is different than the other three with an ornate latch on each end of the knob plate.
