A buffet/server/sideboard; 72 long x 24deep x 38 ... morehi. A china closet 42 long x 20 deep x 64 high. A table 62 long x 38 wide x 31 high; 2 leaves 17" Exquisite detail and craftsmanship. This furniture is circa 1920. Jacobean or Tudor style. Not really considered antique(100 yrs) It is more commonly called vintage, though I have seen it called antique vintage to attract a wider audience. I was unable to locate any manufacture or date on the furniture other than on the bottom of the chairs which most likely was a re-upholster tag. Although considered common furniture in the 1920s-30s it is an excellent example of detail and craftsmanship. This type of furniture was made by many different manufacturers and sold by many different stores; so finding an exact manufacturer might not be possible. The more common furniture usually was not stamped by any manufacturer. Possibly made from bass wood or common wood. Would like to sell as a group. I am the 2nd owner of this nice vintage dining room set-I bought it from the estate of a lady that purchased it new in 1929. Original tags still attached-reads-made by Bernhardt Furniture Co. Lenoir, North Carolina-the underside of the table is also stamped: Oval Table-Cherry-29-etc. Made of Cherry wood-medium, chestnut brown stain allows for much of the grain in the wood to show. Set consisted of table with removable center piece-5 regular chairs and one captain's chair with arms-hutch and buffet. I bought these 20 years ago and now am getting different furniture. I had the seats professionally reupholstered long ago to match my decor(olive green/goldish print)I have always kept seat pads on the chairs when in use-so the seats are in great condition. Table measures 58" x 40" x 30 1/2" tall-with an additional center piece ... morethat measures 12" wide. The Hutch is 47" x 15" x 70" tall. The Buffet is 57" x 17 1/2" x 30 1/3" tall. Overall very nice condition-normal wear for being 84 years old. Some things I would mention are that the wood color of the center piece section is darker than the rest of the table, it was like that when I bought it-possible meant for contrast or maybe because it was stored out of the light)also a slice of the corner wood has broken off as can be seen the the picture-back rt corner of section. Also-a bit of wood had chipped off the top corner of the table leg(tiny but I mention it to be exact-not seen from the top) The legs screw off with attachment bolts to remove them for storage. Also, one chair missing a decorative wood curve on front leg-shown in pic. Also- scratch on table top-6" and 1 1/2"shown in last pic. If I missed something-please ask. The color of the hutch in the first pic is the true color-rich and beautiful. 1929 Antique Dining Set with Sideboard/Buffet
From the research that we have done this is a table made in Wabash IN in 1929. It is made by B. Walters and as you can see in the pictures it has a patent on it for having the sliding leaves in it. the leaves slide right under the top for easy access and storage. This is believed to be the original fabric on the chairs.we removed over 5 layers of fabric and the last 2 layers were tacked on. The fabric shows minimal wear and needs a good cleaning. But we wanted to leave in its original comdition and let the new owner make that call. this set was a one owner set and we bought this from an estate sale. Table is 31in H x 38in W x 60inL(86inL with leaves) The set is almost flawless. All drawers and cabinets open with ease, no noise etc. The chairs are all in great shape except the Captains chair once had a small fracture in the back side of the ... morearm about 2 inches, which has been fixed. On the table the center has a layer of veneer on it and it has a small 1-2 inch raised lip on the outside edge. Everything else is made of solid Oak. We will consider reasonable offers. Pick up only.

Leaves and other carvings including column front legs and rush bottom seats, imported through Edinburgh, Scotland and in a Henry II style, these most probably were manufactured there in Scotland or perhaps England in the early to mid-twentieth century. I have noted in my description of condition above that three of the rush bottom seats on this set is broken through, and simply replaced at present with a wood board underneath the seat cushion. I have taken this into account and am selling these chairs"as is" for a great price for someone looking to invest a little love into bringing them back to their full glory by replacing the seats. These side dining chairs stand 37 inches tall and measure 17 inches wide by 16 1/2 inches front to back. Antique Heavy Cast Iron Scrollwork Dining Table Base The base is 28" tall and the base measures 35" wide from one foot to the opposite foot. The upper"x" table support is 19" wide. Each direction. There are holes in the ends of the top"x" so that a table top or substructure can be screwed down to it. The tube in the center of the cast iron base is hollow- 1 3/4" in diameter inside. The tube is not open ended. So if you wanted to use as a patio table base, a pole would not go all the way to the ground. Aesthetically speaking, that would probably look better anyway. The base is incredibly sturdy. Weighs about 45 pounds and it once held a 200 pound bluestone table top. It is very solid and an incredible piece of craftsmanship. Description 19th Century English Willian IV mahogany three-tier serving trolley table would a great addition to your home. This English serving trolley is constucted of solid mahogany with turned elements with bun handcarved bun form finials with reeding with three shelves each that have side rails. This English serving cart retains the original brass casters. It is visible on the bottom shelve and on the others that the planks were cut a large saw you can see the deep circular groves. Also in the pictures you can see the glue blocks that have been used as far back as the 18th century in the construction of fine furniture. This table measures 42" in length. 42" in height, 18" in depth. Condition The overall condition of this 19th Century English serving trolley is excellent used. Scotland. a set of six early to mid-20th century solid oak"farm" dining chairs with unusual arts and crafts style seat backs and a similiar"sleigh" foot as the large farm table they came in with. These oak chairs, 5 side chairs and 1 arm chair, have brown pleather seat covers which are usable in"as is" condition, and they are in very nice condition for their age, with no major scratches or staining to the finish, only the character marks one would expect with loving use over time. The five side dining chairs measure 36 inches tall by 18 inches wide by 20 1/2 inches deep. Front to back. The seats are 18 inches wide narrowing to 14 1/2 inches wide across the back and measure 16 inches deep front to back ... morewith a seat height of 18 inches. When we bought them, we thought we were getting a set from the 1920s, and it turns out they are actually from the 1860s-80s era. The set was recovered in a blue fabric a long time ago, and some of them do show some small stains, but the upholstery will be very easy to replace if you choose. The chairs themselves are in a dark reddish-brown stain. A beautiful set of mahogany dining room chairs that matches the dining room table and china cabinet that we also have listed. Please contact us for a reduced price on combined purchases. These chairs date to the late 1800's and we do not know the maker. This mahogany set of eight chairs has a string inlay design throughout that matches the table and china cabinet.The seat backs have a double cross open fretwork design that matches the fretwork on the china cabinet. There are six side chairs and two arm chair that come with this set. Dimensions are as follows: Back = 37 13/16" high Arm Height = 26.25" Width at front of seat = 20.25" Width at back of seat = 17" Height of seat = 19" Two of the seats have tears in the leather as shown in thephoto. English Regency Period Mahogany Breakfast Dining Table, Antique circa 1800-25

Description: This listing is for an English Regency Period Tilting Mahogany Breakfast Table. C. 1800-25. It features an incredible dark mahogany top of extremely wide proportions, using two boards to span the total depth of 36 1/4" the first board is 31 1/4" wide, the second 5" To simply imagine how large the tree used to make this board would have been is astounding, and to capture the most beautiful compact grains as found in this board is admirable. The surface is heavily polished over an early finish, both with a wonderful original patina throughout. The edge of the table top is reeded, completing the design of the top with clean lines. It is a tilting top, allowing it to be stored easily, usually in the corner ... moreof a room in a way that is visually delightful, the third leg pointing into the corner with the board facing the room. A stretched frame beneath the table forms a box of the crossbars, locking together using through-tenon joinery. Original screws lock this undisturbed frame to the underside of the table, holding the wooden dowels from the pedestal inside for a smooth rotation. Original undisturbed brass catch hardware remains functional beneath the table to lock the table in a rested position. The base of the pedestal is oak over pine, with the pedestal tenoned through both, the front with a pair of original brass receivers with what appear to be original screws. A wonderful turned pedestal of solid mahogany is designed with a short shaft over three tight turned rings over baluster turnings before flowing into sabre-legs. Each leg is capped with brass hardware, each with original screws over large original caster wheels. The legs of the table are locked in place with a Y bracket, flowing along each leg and into the center to give a high pressure joint flawless strength even 200 years after introduction. for auction is just about the best quality antique quartersawn oak dining table that you will find in it's price range. i have some tables that are from 8600 to 25.000.00, but they are horner or roux, meeks, belter, and the like. but for a table of it's class, they do not come much better. i listed it as hastings or better. i do not know the maker, but i can assure you that hastings never made one of this class in a finer fashion. it could be hastings, if not, it is as good or better. it is solid quartersawn oak, has a great form split pedestal with a hidden center support leg. it has a very very nice and very thick contoured skirt that is attached by screws and metal supports that slid into a groove on the table skirt. the top of the skirt has a molded edge which adds that special touch. the feet are fluted to match the great fluted ... morepedestal. anyway, a wonderful table to say the least. it is 52 inches wide and just at 30 inches tall. it has roller bearing original to the the table and center leg as opposed to casters. it opens up to enable an eight foot dining table. there are no leaves for the table. i am sure there were some at some point in time, but when i bought it,none were included. i can make some quartersawn leaves for my cost should anyone have an interest in that. again a great table. it may be picked up at my home or shipped at the buyer's expense. good luck.

Antique 1940's Walnut Dining Room Table 3-12" Leave 6 Leg Ornate Dark 45x60
Up for auction is my dining room table. Very ornate with 6 turned legs connected near floor by carved arms. Carved trim on apron. Extra wide for fitting more seats when needed. Has 3 12" leaves(no aprons) finish is not matching. So need to use tablecloth with leaves. Table will open up even more, so if you had more leaves made, you could seat even more. Finish Is in pretty good shape, could use touchup refinish on top. Some cloud areas, one chip in veneer and one small area where finish is worn. Legs are in pretty good shape. One ball foot and area on one leg has a piece broken off, see pics. Items are described to the best of my knowledge, you can Come take a look if you are interested, send me an email.
