THE TILES SET IN THIS PAIR ARE MARKED WITH AE TILE COMPANY. WITH SOME RESEARCH. I DID FIND THAT THE TILES WERE MADE BETWEEN 1887& 1890 BY THE ARTIST KARLSON. THE ONE TILE IS MISSING THE TOP RIGHT CORNER AND THE BACKS ARE A BIT RUSTY, BUT THEY ARE OTHERWISE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THEY EACH MEASURE 12 1/2" TALL, 7" ACROSS, AND 3" DEEP.

The home owner had saved them when they renovated the porch in the 1970s.before it became zoned"Historic" They have a beautiful sunflower and grape design and are quite detailed. They are very HEAVY! Each one measures 12 inches by 10 inches. Yes they have rust on them and should be wire brushed and painted if you want to use them indoors. Please look at photos because they really are beautiful! Four Small Antique Architectural Cast Iron Bracket Corbels Leaf Scrolls Salvage
Four great-looking antique cast iron building corbels! Each is approx. 6" X 5.75" And stick out about 3.75" from the wall. So they are small-ish, but heavy, weighing a bit over 6 lbs. each. LOTS of rust, paint loss, chips to the iron, and other wear consistent with age/use. One of them is rough and gnarly on the lower right; it looks like it came into contact with a welding torch, perhaps during removal from the building.
