Antique Flow Blue Porcelain China Mantle Clock - La Vogue Royal Bonn Clock
This is a gorgeous antique Victorian flow blue porcelain china mantle clock. A beautiful royal flow blue is decorated with gold gild. The front and side panels have a floral motif in lovely shades of pinks and lavenders. The back is marked"Royal Bonn 1755" La Vogue" The bottom is marked with letters and numbers that I have shown in a photo. I believe this mantle clock was made by the Ansonia Clock Company but not certain. This clock has the original glass with beveled edge and beautiful decorative front but the clock works have been replaced with an electric General Electric clock. The clock does run but have not tested it over a long period of time to know if it keeps time well or not. Back has Royal Bonn 1755 with FM initials Crown& La Var Stamp. Bottom bares the original label from M. L. Sheehan Watchmaker and Jeweler 785 Eighth Ave. Bet 47th& 48th St. NY. Fine 19th century Royal Bonn of Germany porcelain mantel clock with Ansonia NY clock face and parts patent dated 1881& 1882. The case is marked on the backside and the parts and clock face are marked as well. The clock is in good working order last serviced it appears in late 1971. There is a label affixed to the underside stating such. I do not guarantee the clock will give perfect time you may have to take the clock to a clock repair for minor adjustments, after all the clock is over 120 years old. The clock case is beautiful and is in very good to excellent condition with one minor manufactured firing line on the right side about 1" long, please see close up photo. It is very minor and hardly noticeable. It is not a crack or brake as it does not go all the way threw the porcelain, its just on the surface and has been there since ... morethe piece was fired. Beautiful Antique Ansonia Royal Bonn Porcelain Clock - "La Contal" model - 1900
Antique Ansonia Royal Bonn Porcelain Clock Offering a beautiful antique Ansonia porcelain clock known as the"La Contal" model. This has a Royal Bonn porcelain case decorated with multi-colored flowers on a lovely cream and green ground. This case is in very good condition with no cracks or chips. There is slight crazing near the bottom but too minor to photograph. This 8 day clock. Which was manufactured in 1900, strikes a gong for the hour and half-hour. The movement runs and strikes very well. This must set on a fairly level surface(may need adjustment after shipping. This has a lovely open escapement porcelain dial. There is damage at the number 10. Also slight cracks near the 3.6& 8(see photos. The dial has a lovely fancy brass bezel with beveled glass. Bezel closes firmly. Clock measures about 12" high by 13" ... morewide and 6" deep. At some time. The rear screws on the rear door were replaced with Phillips screws. The key and pendulum are supplied for full operation. Up for auction is a Wonderful Antique Porcelain Royal Bonn Ansonia 8 day Time + Strike Mantel Clock. Circa 1890-1910. The clock's dimensions are approximately; H- 9.5" W- 11" D- 5.5" The Case: The green porcelain case is in excellent physical condition. There might have been a repair at one time to one of the back legs. The porcelain in this area is smooth and is not visible from the front or sides. The Dial/Face: The brass and paper dial/face is in good physical condition. There are a couple smudges by the numeral 2 and 6 along with a nice patina with the brass and paper dial. The bezel: The brass bezel is clean and closes tightly to the case. The crystal/glass is clean and scratch free from what I can see. This Antique Mantel Clock in Royal Bonn Porcelain case was made by the Ansonia Clock Co. in the very early 1900's. When the clock was made. It was described as follows: Imported, Hand Pained and Gold Decorated Case, Fitted with Ansonia Clock company's Eight Day, Half-Hour Strike, Gong on Sounding Board, Polished Brass Escapement Movement, Ruby Pallets, Rack Strike, with Patent Regulators and Striking Parts, and Either Porcelain or Gild Dials" This High Quality German Royal Bonn Porcelain Case is in Excellent Condition and it is approximately 15 inches in height. The eight-day movement appears to be in Excellent running order. It strikes on the half hour and on the hour. Ca1900 Ansonia Clock Co La Drome Royal Bonn German porcelain mantel clock.
This beautiful German Ansonia porcelain mantel clock is in excellent but needs a cleaning. Named"La Drome" circa 1900. I don't have the key or pendelum so I am unsure if it works or can be fixed. It is beautiful. Almost perfect, except for a small hairline crack on the right side base(above the foot) Another crack is on the back of the clock. It has been repaired. The markings on back read: Royal Bonn. 1755, La Drome Inside parts read: Ansonia Clock Company New York USA The clock face is in perfect condition. The glass door opens as it should. Clock measures approximately 12" tall by 16" wide and 6" deep weighs 12 lbs. It is mainly green in color but has touches of pink. Purple and blue.

Clock has open escapment. Clock has a wonderful floral design with bright colors. On the front of clock at bottom the are some white lines in the water. No sure if this is supose to be waves or scratches in the paint ware. The back cover of clock is off and will not stay in place. Has dowels in the two holes. Other than the scratches? clock is nice, there are no chips or cracks in the case. Large clock measures 15" tall and is 12" across. The clock will only run for a few minitues, may just need cleaned ... moredo not know. All time pieces we list are pre-owned and old. Vintage, or antique. Antique Porcelain Ansonia Royal Bonn Topeka Mantle Clock-Victorian
This Clock will run and tick for a while. Then will quit after a while. I know it will need cleaned and oiled as it has been sitting for a long time. This has a key that works in it, don't think it is the right key though. The gong works well but will need adjusted. 10" tall, 8 3/4" wide and 5" D. This is pale green, white with flowers. Marked with what looks like Topeka on the back. Bottom has the original wood plate, back door and front glass opens and closes well. Minor crazing otherwise nice condition for age. Heavy old Clock.
