Very nice. Very original Gustav Becker 3 weight Vienna Regulator fully embossed weights. Pendulum and dial, This clock has an above average gong tone, kinda soft and pleasant compared to some twangy gongs. S/N 434.849 is fairly early considering he made 2.25 million clocks(aprox year 1884- 1880 is S/N 260,000 and 1885 is S/N 500,000) This clock was cleaned and restrung a few yrs ago and all is still well, fully functional and in very good condition. I just reoiled now as I was trying to decide who to keep and who to let go, this one pains me to let go but I have to many The case is all tight,the bottom finial dowel is broken but there is enough to insert and for the clock to hold it so it stays in the case as I do not approve of gluing finials to the clock. The door is bowed but it does latch, it is hard to notice unless you look for it, ... moresee the side pic on the bench, I clamped it inverting the bow a long time ago but it did not change at all and is just part of the history of the clock now as I was unwilling to steam or wet as I did not want to upset the original finish. Antique Wall Clock Vienna Regulator 1 Weight SCHUTZ Nice
This is an awesome little SHUTZ 1 weight Vienna Regulator. I would guess this is fairly early from the case style maybe 1875. The S/N is shown. It has been cleaned and restrung and is in good working order. The case is in very good condition aside from the base. It needs someone to find an appropriate base. I am sending the base as pictured with the clock, I took it off as it is only barley attached because it isn't a perfect match, it can be used as is or strip the base and try and match the color better or? The base is currently attached with 2 screws from the bottom but they do not break thru, there is no glue, and no visible scars to the clock have been made. This clock is a very nice LENZKIRCH 2 weight Vienna Regulator. The clock case is clean, sound and stable. The pics- the clock is in a narrow hall, the flash reflection is bad in a few pics, Note- the finish is normal in other pics- the finish is the same and good all over. If clock wasn't packed I would retake pics. The movement has just been cleaned and restrung and is operating properly. The clock I forgot to measure before packing but this is a larger thicker kinda heavy clock, Guess at size is about 50-52 x 15-16 x 7 inches, Clock is well packed with new materials, it is a big box so the shipping cost a little more than we all like. Antique Vienna Regulator 1 Weight Wall Clock, Gustav Becker RARE, VERY EARLY S/N
RARE. RARE, RARE SERIAL NUMBER- 30,657- This clock is shockingly early for a GUSTAV BECKER, see the serial number and note the logo, the logo is also on the case movement mount which I dont see often(hard to see in pic- zoom in) The clock shows a few worm holes but I have owned it for yrs and I guarantee they are not active/alive, also note veneer at base could be better, the clock is clean, sound and stable now. The movement has just been cleaned and restrung and is operating properly. The weight is not the original, it is what came with the clock yrs ago, if one wanted they could probably find a better one here on ebay. It has the original key. Antique Vienna Regulator 2 Weight Wall Clock, Perfection, Original
This clock is a beauty. It shows the makers mark SCHUTZ, it is in above average condition in my opinion. All of the clock appears to be original to the clock in my opinion. The original little steel pins with brass knob are still in place attaching the dial(see pic 10) unusual. The top crown is not original to the clock but a very nice match. The clock case is tight and stable, the movement was just cleaned, oiled, and restrung. It is operating beautifully. Size is 53.5 x 15 x 7 inch. I am not an expert but I have a passion for clocks. Inside this beautiful wood cabinet is a restored Johann or Becker Viennese Regulator Clock that hangs on the wall measures 4 ft long and It works great! No chime- time only. The wood cabinet body with glass front and 2" peep holes on each side- the inner clock is a restored old Clock likely made by Gustav Becker or possibly Johann Rettich. Who worked in Vienna, and he worked in the 1840s or so. He's a registered master clockmaker who actually did work for the royal palace at the time. 1890 antique France wall vienna style clock regulator, very good condition
this is a very unique german wall clock. Vienna style, it was made at the end of the 1800ths. And is in very good condition, it is professionaly restorated a few years ago, movemend checked, and the case in wood has a complete restoration, Dial and pendulum have a very nice decoration. Dial a butterfly and pendulum a viking scene,never seen before, Movement works perfect and comes with the original key. one thing that i have to mention. Is that the glas in the door is removed, it is a straight piece of glass so it is very easy and cheap to fix.if the buyer wants me to replace it, i will do this for free, but for shipping it is very difficult to pack it, so the risk is much higher to damage with the glas than without the glass, but the buyer may choose after the auction. Rare Antique 19th Century Circa 1860 Biedermeier Vienna Regulator Rosewood Case
Beautiful Antique Circa 1860 Biedermeier Vienna Wall Regulator Wall Clock. The Clock appears to be all original with porcelain dial surrounded by intricate brass work(Pie Crust) Original key and weight are present. The case appears to be made of Rosewood with Upper Finials and Drop Finials on the bottom. There are glass sections on both sides of the case. I do not see a makers mark on the clock or movement, I do believe this to be an original Biedermeier clock. The clock appears to be in excellent working condition, I cannot get the clock balanced, the pendulum will swing but it brushes against the white porcelain piece at the bottom.manually the hands move and it ticks as it should. The Clock measures 42" long, 12" across at the top molding, the dial measures 7 1/2" in diameter. There are some minor surface hairlines to the ... moredial, it is excellent condition overall. Massive Antique F Mauthe Vienna Regulator Wall Clock 8 Day Germany 1920s Working
This Antique Vienna Regulator 8 Day wall clock is a running clock in very good condition. This clock was made in Germany in the early 1920s by F. Mauthe. The movement is marked with the letters FMS inside a Mercedes style symbol with an eagle at the top. This clock features: 8 Day Spring Wound Brass Movement- Gong Striking on Half hour and Hour French Style Key Original Dial with Roman Numerals and Red Fleur De Lis Accents. Dial is not metal or porcelain. It appears to be either celluloid or some type of lightweight coated material.
