Description: This BEAUTIFUL semi-flush ceiling light fixture is from the 1930s-40s. The shade is a satin crystal color and measures 14-1/4 inches wide. The outside surface is textured all over. And has a raised, clear pattern, and a clear rim. The light hangs down a total of six inches from the ceiling to the bottom of the shade. The shade is capped off with a solid brass finial. The porcelain fixture was made by Porcelier. And is an off-white, or ivory color, trimmed in gold. The fixture retains the original glazed porcelain sockets with brand new wiring, and it accepts three standard size bulbs, providing plenty of light. Description: This re-wired vintage ceiling light is likely from the 1930s or 40s. The glass shade has a satin finish on the outside. The inside is painted in white. Yellow and orange-red, with a stylized floral pattern. The fixture hangs down 10-1/4 inches, and measures 16 inches wide. The glass is in great condition. There are a few minor flakes on the rim, but they are not very noticeable, and do not detract from the beauty of this fixture. The metal components are solid brass. Including the ceiling canopy. The brass was originally lacquered, and the finish held up better on the ceiling canopy than the other parts, which have darkened with age and now have more of an antique patina. A beautiful 1930's or 1940's Porcelier ceiling light fixture. Includes the porcelain canopy with 3 original Porcelier sockets, pull chain is attached and works good, I think it is brass, fixture is ivory with gold trim, all gold trim intact, there is a spot of paint on the fixture as shown, a tiny spot is on the gold trim, needs rewiring and cleaned a bit. It has a raised leaf and bud pattern. The large 14 1/4" diameter shade is very thick glass, satin crystal color with raised pattern flowers, parts of which are clear. The shade is textures w/ small flowers in the frosted areas. On one raised flower there is a mfg flaw or possibly a chip/scrape, in my photo it is on the large petal to the lower left on the first half of the petal, a couple spots, very hard to see and quite insignificant. This 1930s-40s ceiling fixture has a thick frosted glass shade with a beaded rim. The outside of the shade is textured and has a raised. Art deco pattern- BEAUTIFUL! The bottom center of the shade is also clear. The base is the vintage aluminum color. There are no chips or cracks to the porcelain fixture or glass shade. This is New old stock and was never installed! It was removed to test and check condition, It will include the original Imperialite box. Excellent condition! Antique Vintage Semi Flush Ceiling Fixture Luster Ware Glass Shade Filagree Band
This is a 1930's or 40's semi flush mount ceiling fixture. Measures approximately 11" in diameter. Will hang down approximately 10-11" from the ceiling. White lustreware glass shade with a brass filagree band. Porcelain bulb socket. The metal ceiling mount parts still have their original white with gold flakes paint and its a bit chippy in places so you may want to repaint these parts. The old cloth wiring works but it should be replaced with modern wiring before being used for safety's sake. There's a worn cork like circular protective patch attached to the outer center of the glass shade where the finial screws on. This was likely covered with a metal cap originally.
