The shades are correct period prismatic leaded Holophanes marked E7. This shadeholder style was used 1905 through the teens. The last picture shows this sconce in a 1912 Peters catalog with a different shade choice-Peters did not market Holophanes. A few of the Holophanes have flea bites on the ribs no worse than the one by my thumb in the last picture. These items are old and used but in good recondition so do not expect new. These sconces were designed to fit over a sink or vanity. This wall lamp has been washed, paint and most dings removed, and waxed. The canopy bell is 5 inches in diameter and will cover a standard outlet box. The wall sconces ... morestick out about 9 inches, they are about 171/2"wide and 11" top to bottom. They are all brass from around 1905-1916. Please see the other listings if you need more double sconces or pendants to match these. The shades for these are prismatic leaded glass period correct Holophanes marked E7. A few of the shades for these sconces have rib fleabites no worse than the one by my thumb in the tenth picture. But don't really stand out due to the design. The worst is pictured. I also have some of the satin E7 Holophanes(see the last picture) and I can ship you those instead-contact me for availability. These shadeholders were used from about 1905(patent dated) into the teens and not seen after WW1. Antique Set (4) 2 pairs French Bronze Louis XVI 3 arm Wall Sconces Circa 1910
Up for consideration is a fine set of 4 or 2 pair of Antique French Wall Sconces. The sconces date from about 1910 or so and measure 14 1/2 inches tall by about 10 inches by 5 inches deep. This set consists of 3 arms on each piece with great casting and super casting. As with good fine quality French Sconces they are cast in many separate pieces. The backplate consists of 3 separate pieces. There is a lacey bowtie top cascading down and tying into the top of the torch with descending bell flowers in the center body of the torch. A very. Very old and very nicely preserved pair of Mirrored Tin Candle Holders/Sconces. 10-3/4" overall top to bottom of bobech. 7-1/4" diameter, 5-3/4" deep. I think the set this was hand painted and is simply stunning All lighting worked when it was taken off the walls. But has been sitting for may years now and will need rewired. Very minimal paint loss on the sconces or hanging light. Please view photos carefully for the fine details on these rare pieces. The hanging light includes the ceiling plate and measures: 19" long from top finial to curved legs on bottom. Then the chain link and ceiling plate extend another 14" upward and the large hanging finial at the bottom extends downward another 4.5" Total length 37.5" Wall Sconces measure 11" tall x 10" across and extend outward from wall 3" I'm missing ... moreone of the gold prisms on the bottom of one sconce.
