Old Vintage Antique Porcelier Porcelain Wall Light Sconce Fixture Light w Switch
Up for Sale ia a Beutiful Antique Porcelier Wall Sconce. It is in excellant condition. The gold trim and little flowers look great. The pull switch works as it should and has a great snap to it, I tested it and it works properly. The photos speak for themselfs as to its great condition. The outlet works as it should, the wires on the outlet were a little frayed so I replaced them, the wires to the light socket were in great condition so I left them. The fixture is ready to mount on your wall. It is setup to accept a glass globe over the bulb, many are listed regularly on Ebay so it can be added if you wish. I like to add an old looking Edison style bulb as shown in a couple of the photos without the globe. The mounting bracket and gold cap nut are included, the light bulb shown in a few of the photos is not included.

PORCELAIN FLUSH CEILING FIXTURE. 1920'S- 30'S, ART DECO ERA, MODERN WIRING This art deco era ceiling light is a flush mount porceilain fixture. I believe that it is Porcelier. But the sticker that probably accompanied it at one time is missing. The porcelain is in excellent condition with no chips or repairs. The wiring is modern. I have tested the fixture and it works correctly. Judging by the small hole near the center mounting hole, it probably had a pull chain on/off witch when it was new, but the switch has been removed. It was common for the early fixtures to have pull chains because they generally did not have a wall switch to turn it on& off. The fixture is 10-5/8" long. 6-1/4" wide, and 3" deep. I hardly know where to begin. The chandelier has so many outstanding qualities: The shade! Oh my! It’s large(16-wide) and beautifully. Stunningly molded out of thick glass. There are sweeping designs of flowers and stylized leaves. The bottom of the shade is also deliciously molded with a swag frieze. This is incredible when lighted. The finial is spectacular. It’s a glass sphere with a swirling design. Like a miniature tornado! I love it. These Porcelier finials were each hand-blown and as such no two are alike. Just above the finial is a wide brass mounting disk. It’s a small detail but oh so important. The stem is porcelain( with brilliant gold highlights and incredibly pretty and detailed flowers. Wow! Porcelier at its best. Above the stem is a solid brass flourish that hangs from the chain. Very nice. The canopy is also porcelain. And, like the stem, features brilliant gold trim and intricate flowers. Basically. You gasp when looking at the fixture. To me, fixtures like this should be in a museum. The fixtures are stamped"Porcelier" The set includes two ceiling or wall mount lights, one is a double socket light. The sconces are identical in color and pattern. They are a golden color with white undertones. They are trimmed in gold with a French or Italianate vine and leaf pattern. The pair are stamped"Porcelier" on the inside. They are in very good condition with very little evidence of age/use. The two light sconce has two"lines" that look like hairline cracks. However, if you run your finger over them, you cannot feel them. I truly think they are age marks in the finish. There is some very light crazing in a couple of areas. Nice vintage porcelain wall sconce. Measures approx 5 1/2" by 10" Clean. No damage, backside is a bit dirty. Looks like wiring would still be okay to use but you decide. Guessing this is from the 30's.Sockets are marked porcelier. Very nice and colorful. This one has a second hole in it to work off of a pull chain but it is not wired up that way. Good addition to your vintage decor.

Vintage Porcelier porcelain twin bulb ceiling fixture with floral accents. No chips or crazing on this beautiful ceiling fixture. I would recommend rewiring this fixture which is very easy to do. Comes with the original cloth covered wires and sockets. Brass finial, bracket and nipple as well as the Porcelier and UL stickers. Two Vintage 1930's Art Deco Porcelier Porcelain Flush Mount Fixtures Exellent Cd
Two Rare and Absolutely Beautiful Porcelier Porcelain Flush Mount Light Fixtures. Art Deco Era with soft pink and green floral designs on corners. The color of the fixtures is an amazing cream color glaze. Original double sockets and deep seating screws. Both of the fixtures are virtually flawless. There are NO cracks. Chips, crazing or breaks. There is a small drop of cream colored paint between two ribs that may need to be rubbed off. It really wouldn't have to be touched/disturbed as it is not noticeable. I would love to keep these for myself but I don't know when I would get them put up. So I am hoping that someone will cherish these and show them off in their own home. Description: This BEAUTIFUL 1930s-40s semi-flush ceiling light fixture features the hard-to-find large 16-1/2 inch wide shade. This pattern is more commonly found in the 14 inch size. The thick glass shade has a satin crystal color with a raised pattern. Parts of which are clear. The shade is textured with raised, small flowers on the frosted part, and is capped off with a solid brass finial. The porcelain canopy was made by Porcelier. And it is trimmed in gold, which is approximately 80% intact. The original matching glazed sockets are signed"Porcelier" The fixture has brand new wiring, and accepts three standard size bulbs, providing plenty of light. The light hangs down just six inches to the bottom of the shade. No chips or cracks to the porcelain or the glass. There are a few spots on the shade, which can be seen in the last ... morephoto. We have here a Vintage Pair of Porcelier Round Ceiling Porcelain Light Fixtures. They measure 6" around at the top(that attaches to the ceiling) 4 7/16" around at the bottom and are 3" tall. They fit a round 4 1/4" shade. They are a creamy white porcelain color with a simple ribbed pattern. They have all original pieces. There is a hole on the side for the switch chain to hand out. Vintage 1930's ART DECO PORCELAIN "Porcelier" Light Fixtures THREE
Three Vintage Porcelier Porcelain Electric Light Fixtures Sconces. The twin bulb fixtures measure 11 1/4" x 6 3/8" x 4" The small fixture measures 5 1/4" x 5 3/4" x 2 5/8" They are an ivory/off white color with flower accents. They do have what I would consider minor flaws for their age. One of the twin bulb fixtures has a deep crazing line and the other has more overall crazing The small fixture has a chip or scrap to one of the flowers. I have photographed the above mentioned. One of the large fixtures is missing its finial and the hanging bracket. There is no hanging bracket on the small fixture. Hanging brackets can be gotten at a lighting store and you may have to change out the porcelain finial for something different so they match. Its condition is very good as you can see with some crazing to the finish in a couple of places and no cracks. Breaks or chips that I can find. Its a recent estate find and apparently stored snce around 1977-78 as the newspaper it was wrapped in I have shown in the photo is dated 1977. It has some places where paint was slopped on it during a repaint or two over the years. The pull chain switch was lengthened probably in the 1960's or 70's as there is a woven piece of leather to make the pull longer that is attached to the chain. The detail cleaning and removal/replacement of the chain will be up to you and its sold as is. Definitely a super addition to any collection! What A Neat Find This Was For Us& You… It was covered in dust and grime from over the years. But with light scrubbing& wiping with a damp cloths, we were so surprised to see the natural beauty shine through. The Gold painted accents are in wonderful condition and still shine bright and the Floral Accents are as they were designed to be many. Many years ago. For as old as it is, it is in exceptional condition. While doing the research for this Listing. We found out that Porcelain fixtures came into prominence starting in the 1920's as a way to fight diseases of the day. The Porcelain id not allow germs to easily adhere to it like the lampshades on light fixtures that were widely used back then. These Porcelain Fixtures remained very popular throughout the 1920' 1930's, 1940's and even into the 1950's. This fixture ... morewas manufactured by the Porcelier Company who was considered to make the most elaborate decorative and stylized fixtures. This one is very sedate by style standards. But still very stylish as you can see from the photographs. It Measures: 5" Wide by 3" Tall. It can be taken apart very easily and put back together just as easily.
