And a center globe that lights up, for a total ... moreof 4 lights total. It would need to be restored. Although does have a vintage look that many people do like, so I will leave the restoring to you. The brass is painted. And there are some dings, scratches, and stains on it. It comes complete with 3 orange chimney shades. And center white globe. One of the orange shades has a small chip on the top rim of it, and the center of another has some chipping, but none of that would be noticable when hanging in the cups. See photos. The fixture would need to be rewired. As one of the arms has a cut wire, and the wiring is older(although probably not original) and needs to be rewired and restored. The 3 orange chimney globes are 5 1/4 inches tall. And 4 1/2 inches at their base. the circle top rim is 2 1/4 inches outer, and 1 3/8 inches inner. The large white center globe is 9 1/8 inches inner. And 10 inches outer, and is about 6 inches deep, while about 12 inches at it's widest. One of the center globe's bolts to fasten it is missing, but it does stay tight with the remaining ones) There is a chain to hang it. But no ceiling cup. I have owned this lamp for at least 30 years. It was pretty old even back then, and it's been safely in a box since I bought it. I was always going to restore and use it, as I love these type of light fixtures, but as many things, never got to it, and decided it's time to let it go to a new wonderful home, where it can be enjoyed once again! Antique Ornate 3 Arm Cast Iron Chandelier Art Nouveau Deco Industrial Electric
Hello Industrial and Art Deco collectors! Up for bids is this recently recovered 3 arm cast iron chandelier. It appears to be 1920s vintage and at a cross over from Art Nouveau to Art Deco. It has black and white paint over what appears to be brass or copper. Measures just over 13 inches high. There are 12 inches between each arm and the base mount is 5 inches across. I see no marks to indicate maker. Still original wire. But it hasn't been tested. Comes from storage so needs cleaning up from some dust and dirt, but what a great restoration project! Vintage Antique Large 3 Tier 8 Arm Spanish Crystal & Brass Chandelier 80 Prisms
This auction if for a very beautiful. Ornate and well made vintage made in Spain brass and crystal chandelier. The chandelier is a three tier one. With crystal prisms hanging from all three layers and it has eight arms with eight lights(candles) The metal work is all solid brass and it is therefore very heavy. Without the prisms on. It weighs 20 pounds. The ornate brass canopy and chain are original to the chandelier and are matching all other scrolled work on the metal. The entire brass metal work on the chandelier is very intricately detailed. And the bottom is completed with a very ornate cap and finial which are again matching all the other scroll work on the fixture. The chandelier. As can be seen in our pictures is in perfect working condition and ready to hang. It was too large for the room displayed in, and has to be replaced with ... morea smaller one. The measurements without any crystals on are: 24" in diameter X 26" high. The original and existing chain is 18" The chandelier comes with 80 prisms all together and one round crystal ball for the bottom. These are: 12 large tear drops 2 1/2" long 40 medium tear drops 2" long 8 small tear drops 1 1/2" long 8 large beveled flat(shell shaped) 3 1/2" long 12 long ones 7" long. This fixture was installed in the library of a huge“1898” Queen Anne style summer home located in Harbor Springs. Michigan. Most of this home still relied on the original“knob and tube” wiring for its electrical power. The first floor ceilings of this home were 11' high. A few of the ceiling fixtures were controlled by pull chain switches due to the lack of wall switches. This fixture was originally equipped with a pull chain switch. Photo#10 shows the hole where the switch was installed. This ornate fixture has great detailing and is in very good condition. This fixture was just re-wired and new socket insulators were installed. It has been gently cleaned so as not to disturb the aged patina. I do not see any makers mark nor number on it. No cleaning has been done. Some of the dark places in photos are reflections. Some tarnish spots. So I took the ones with the orange background outside to try to keep reflections of the black camera away. There are spots on the brass though, also a couple of white paint spots. It weights over 3 lbs. Prob 5 lbs packed. About 17" from the ring at the top to the bottom of the point on the middle. The round plate below the ring at the top is about 4" across and that plate is a little bendable, not hard solid like the rest of the lamp. It will need rewiring, ... moreas it still has the old cloth covered wire. I have not tried to see if it works as it is. EDIT: My husband took the bolts out of two arms so it would lay down and ship easier. I then saw the wiring beneath and have added a photo. It looks like newer wire along with the cloth covered one. This is a beautiful piece with primitive, French Country or Colonial lines. There are 6 arms which are long and curve upward. A very long center rod attaches to the arms at the bottom of the fixture. A very decorative ceiling chandelier with 3 arms. 3 bells with light sockets for bulbs and has the three shades. Needs rewiring and some cleaning/light refurbishing but overall very nice condition, complete with ceiling mount, and top and bottom finials. I think the pan is brass and the arms are steel, they are decorated with baskets of flowers looking up at the light as it would be on the ceiling. The shades are frosted and have blue and pink flowers and green leaves raised designs, the screws are all here and also the switch on each light. The switches have an F on them. Measurements are approx. 25" from ceiling to bottom of globes, 13 1/2" across the arms, about 8" from arm top to bottom of globe. 1920's Restored 3 Arm Embossed Brass Antique Light Fixture Chandelier / Shades
This beautiful fixture is complete and ready to hang with 3 vintage satin glass shades with raised flowers in relief. Two shades are perfect and. One has a small sliver off the bottom edge which is not easy to notice at all. The fixture hangs 24" from the ceiling, including 7" of brass chain and, the diameter is 18" without shades installed. The flower stems are white with sprouting leaves which have delicate hints of green. The faux rope holding the bouquet has a hint of pink. There are a couple of minor chips see last picture and it does need a clean. The faux candles have some minor nobbles around the tops. None of these minor things detract from this being a pretty chandelier and does not compare to modern replicas. This is a awesome antique chandelier that was purchased in Italy. I do not know much about it's age but I was told that it was bought many years ago in Italy and it was wired here in the United States. It's intricate design is very detailed and features lions on each of the 3 light sections. Please look closely at the pictures as I have tried my best to capture it's designs and details. There are 3 arms.one is a bit loose and I will leave the fastening up to the buyer. Vintage 20's/30's Art Nouveau Hanging 3-Arm Ceiling Light Chandelier Polychrome?
Description I have listed a Vintage Art Nouveau Hanging 3-Arm Ceiling Light Chandelier. The shaft looks like it is brass but I am not sure that the rest is even though there is some green and white oxidation on it. I have seen similar lights referred to as“polychrome” but I do not know. It measures approximately: 14 ½” wide 14 ½” deep 8 ¾” from the ceiling without the light bulbs I purchased this from an estate and am assuming that it works because it has newer lightbulbs but I do not know for sure. As with any old lighting item though. This should be inspected and possibly rewired by a qualified electrician before use. The metal on the entire lamp has green and white oxidation. This is for a pair of original art deco lights. I got these out of an old house. I don't know what type of metal they are made from. Each light has chrome like finish with parts that were painted red. I have not cleaned them or anything and have no idea if they work. There is discoloration. So please review the pictures for condition. The 5 arm chandelier is 16 inches tall and 18 inches wide. The arms themselves are 9 inches from middle to end. The 3 arm chandelier is 15.5 inches tall and 12 inches wide. The arms are 6.5 inches from middle to end.
