It looks like the person before me was trying to clean them up, one is in its totally original state, the other has been lightly cleaned, the most obvious evidence of this is in the fourth photo, they really shined up that part, then got some white paint on it, this is the only area of any sort of issue, I think the paint can be removed easily enough- The metal is a silver pewter sort of color. With lightly painted details- The light bulbs would hand on the underside. This needs to be re-wired, I have photographed the original cloth covered wires- The part where you screw in the light bulbs looks really good. Copper parts and it looks like maybe these have been replaced, but not sure they look really clean inside- you will need 2 screws to re-connect the part where it attaches to the ceiling on one of them- each chandelier measures 17" across. 22" hanging- PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS FOR CONDITION. VINTAGE PAINTED CAST WHITE METAL SIGNED" EMPIRE" FOUR CANDLE CHANDELIER/LIGHT
VINTAGE CAST WHITE METAL SIGNED"EMPIRE" CHANDELIER: This light has a lot of great classical detailing starting with the large bottom finial ringed with acanthus leaves and the lines radiating outward to a second ring of acanthus leaves. There are also large shields on each of the four sides. The painted finish is of a dark pewter color that contrasts nicely with the off white resin candle covers on the four candelabra size candle sockets. The chandelier is 18 1/4" in diameter and is approximately 25" from the bottom finial to the top of the ornate pierced ceiling canopy. The light is marked"EMPIRE PATENT PENDING" in eight places on the inside of the cast body. The four candles can take up to 60 watts each. The chandelier weighs 16 pounds.

This 5 arm chandelier is ornately decorated and the ceiling plate looks very similar to Mutual table lamp bases I've had in the past. Although no makers mark was found on this fixture. This fixture stands about 33" tall and 20" wide. The finish is original and appears worn with age. The bent arms are all intact and may require adjustments to sit level. Looking at the arms, I suspect that atleast one has been slightly bent unward although that may be an illusion. Although usable as is, this might be better suited as an easy restoration. Art Noveau Welsbach Polychrome Wrought Iron & Cast Iron & Cast Metal Chandelier
This Victorian Art Noveau Welsbach Polychrome Wrought Iron and cast Iron and Cast Metal Chandelier came out of an old house in Southern Virginia. It is all original with the original paint and original wiring. It is very ornate with its wrought iron scrolls and elaborate finials and ceiling plate. It has small flowers of metal at the bends of each scroll. The holders for the bulbs and globes are bell shaped and very ornate with a swirl finale atop each. I can't say enough about this beautiful chandelier. It measures 23" from the top plate to the bottom finial. It is about 22" across from light holder to light holder. The bottom ring is 12" across. This is a very large and heavy item. I had to hang it in a doorway with a rope to get a picture of it hanging. Weight 10.8 lbs. The wiring is old and original so it will need ... morerewiring possibly to be safe. It would be pretty hung outdoors with candles. This is a nice one. I am unsure of the exact metal composition that this chandelier is made from. This chandelier measures 17" across by 28" tall. The heigh measurement includes the ceiling mount and the chain. It weighs 9.2 pounds. I have not tested this lamp so I am unsure if it works. It is is good condition with no breaks, bends, or repairs present. It would look great as a candelabra. Rare Antique Empire Chandelier Patented 1909 Estate 19" x16" Heavy Cast Metal
This great estate find comes from a nice home built in 1913. On each light socket it says Patent May 1909. It is stamped Empire LF Co. The only information I can find of this company shows it was in business in Montreal Canada into the 1920s. Each light socket still has the original porcelain socket in it. The chandelier measures about 19" wide and is about 15 tall. There is also a chain and a matching ceiling cap that adds about another foot to it's height. The chandelier is made of a heavy cast metal and weighs over 20 pounds. The chandelier is in very good condition for it's age with only minor scuffs. It has been rewired at some point and works as it should. I also have 2 other listings for matching wall sconces. Please look at pictures. Shipping will be calculated. Antique Art Nouveau Deco Cast Metal Hanging Chandelier Light Fixture Electric
Beautiful Antique Art Nouveau Deco Hanging Chandeliers- Made of some sort of light weight cast metal. I do not know what kind, they need cleaning but not really any rust- They are marked. made in USA" and"Patented 11-25-24" and have a design number as well- ok. It looks like the person before me was trying to clean them up, one is in its totally original state, the other has been lightly cleaned, the most obvious evidence of this is in the fourth photo, they really shined up that part, then got some white paint on it, this is the only area of any sort of issue, I think the paint can be removed easily enough- The metal is a silver pewter sort of color. With lightly painted details- The light bulbs would hand on the underside. This needs to be re-wired, I have photographed the original cloth covered wires- The part where you ... morescrew in the light bulbs looks really good. Antique Victorian Heavy Cast Metal Iron Gothic 5 Light Chandelier
Offered for sale I have this beautiful antique heavy cast metal ornate chandelier recently found in the attic of an old oceanfront victorian in Historic Ocean Grove NJ. This is a very heavy chandelier at approx. 11.5 lbs. This is in very nice condition and only needs to be rewired as it still has it's old cloth wiring. It also comes with the original ceiling mount and plate. Chandelier measures approx 18.5" in diameter. 14" tall on the chandelier. The chain is 6" long but can be replaced with any length chain. DESCRIPTION: Vintage Antique 3-light hanging ceiling fixture by John C. Virden Company. This particular style is from their'Wintrhrop' line. Produced during the 1920's and 1930's. The chandelier has a bronze polychrome finish with red and green color sprays highlighting floral areas. As far as I know. The chandelier is all original; it has not been re-wired. As you can see, it's in working condition, and in perfect vintage condition. Vintage Cast Iron Metal Chandelier Ceiling Light Fixture Architectural Lighting
Vintage cast iron chandelier. Cast iron with accents of a metal coppered color around light sockets. Very good condition with the exception of needing wiring and a good cleaning. Weighs over 6 pounds. Base is 15" across. Height not including chain 12" and there are 8" between each bulb socket. Very nice!
