Antique Homer Laughlin Slop Pail / Chamber Pot Eagle & Lion Mark PAT APPLIED FOR
This Homer Laughlin piece is in astonishing condition considering it dates back to 1890. From what I have found from searches it was made between 1890 and 1900 according to the makers mark. I cannot find any other Laughlin Slop Pails anywhere. Except for the shapes chart. The makers mark has the Eagle on the Lion and PAT APPLIED FOR. The piece itself has alot of crazing but has no dings or dents. It's in fantastic condition. Please click on the photos for a larger picture and closer view. It is pretty large. Antique Furnival's Slop Jar/ Pot Androcles and the Lion 1890's RARE
For your consideration are two antique. Matched pieces to a chamber set from Furnival's England. There is a chamber pot with lid. And the large"slop bucket" These pieces are almost impossible to find. I even had trouble researching them. They were made in the 1890's to the best of my knowledge. The chamber pot has the no. 3669/ IN inscribed in red on the bottom. The slop bucket had a red stamp, which has faded with time. The colors are orange. Tan, brown, and turquoise. They are lusterware, and are also glazed on the inside. The inner rim to the cover of the chamber pot has a small chip. The slop bucket has a hairline crack about 4 inches. And is missing about a 1/2" paint on the outside in this area. You cannot see the chip with the cover on. And the slop bucket has the hairline at the top, and still holds liquids. ... moreThe orange is a brilliant color and the dynamics of Androcles on his horse about to kill the lion is quiet beautifully done. These are very large pieces. The slop bucket measures 1 foot across from handle to handle and is 9 3/4" high. The chamber pot is 10 1/2" across from handle to handle. And is 5" high. Pottery Stoneware Chamber Pot Slop Bucket Metal Bale Wooden Handle
This is a vintage pottery or stoneware chamber pot or more accurately slop bucket. It measures. Not including the handle, 9" tall by about 9 1/4" in diameter across the top. This is made of a heavy pottery substance and the unglazed bottom rim looks like a crockery material. It has an overall pattern molded into the body of the bucket but there are the customary flaws as was common in common everyday pieces. There are a couple of stress lines that seem to affect the glaze only on the outside in photo two you can see the worst one. There is also one in the outside bottom and a small one inside. These lines DO NOT CARRY THROUGH to the opposing side of the pottery piece. There are also excess clumps of clay in the design that have been glazed over and small bubbles that have popped in the glaze during the firing process. Please zoom ... morein and look at all the photos closely. It also has some major chips around one handle on the outside"ear" that holds the wire in place, see photo 5. The wire handle is still intact and functioning so it really hasn't created a major problem. The handle is wooden and has been painted black and has lots of wear to the paint from everyday use. The outside rim of the pot also has some of the glaze rubbed off from the wire rubbing against it. It has no other chips, cracks, crazing or stains. Unusual Lovely Antique Victorian Semi-Porcelain Slop Bucket & Lid Floral Design
This auction is for a Fabulous Antique Victorian Semi-Porcelain Slop Bucket and Lid. It is Beautifully designed and decorated with a mix of high gloss areas in white and a matte gray coloring with orange and green flowers and leaves and gold accent trimming. It has a lion and unicorn backstamp that is blurred and hard to identify. I believe it is from one of the many potteries that made semi-porcelain toiletware and chamber sets in the late 19th century in and around Trenton. N.J. Either way. Given the form and feel it is clearly Victorian and dates to the late 1800s. The piece is in very good condition. Especially for its age. There are no chips on either the bucket or the lid. The mouth edge of the bucket has three very tight and short hairlines(see last two photos) and some faint rub marks. They do not detract from the overall appeal of ... morethis Great Find. There is fine, even crazing as expected from pieces of this era and it only adds to the character and authenticity. The piece is very thick and heavy. Rare F. Winkle Red Transferware Slop Bucket Offered here is an amazing. Large 2 piece waste or slop bucket in an all over transferware pattern in red, produced by F. Winkle& Co. in Stoke, England. These were produced between 1890 and 1920. F. Winkle Co. ran Colonial Pottery and produced transferware. This bucket has the original splash bowl that sits on top. The bucket was used for dumping and transport of chamber pots and wash basins. The splash bowl was inverted to keep the waste water from spilling out as it was carried. The center pour hole allowed one to empty the wash basin without also tossing the soap as it was dumped. These are quite rare and to find one like this in such beautiful condition is a true find. Wonderful Perfect Staffordshire Alcock Slop Jar With Top Fern Blue Green
Absolutely wonderful and perfect Antique Staffordshire Alcock slop jar or bucket with amazing top and 2 handles in the Fern pattern. No chips. Cracks or any imperfections that I can find which is quite unusual because there were used a lot. But apparently not this one. Beautifully decorated with a fern transfer on both side of the pot and on the and the finial and the handles. Decorative trim around the top of the pot, the top and handles. Lovely form with high dome top. Clean on the inside as well. It's just a rare find in this condition and form. Packing will be done at my local postal center because it's so special. I received it from a friend who belonged to a Hunt(horses) and was moving to Texas. I bought all her equine art and some wonderful silver and pottery. This one struck me immediately. We are now downsizing and our children are not antique enthuiasts. First of all the slop pot is huge. Over 13" high and 13" in diameter. It has NO major chips or cracks or repairs. The handles are nice and big and again.no cracks. On the inside there is an inner rim, inside the original rim. There are a number of little rubs on this rim.does not detract the appearance or its structure. On the inside of the lid there also is a small chip underneath, but you cannot see if from the top or sides. The color is a cream background with black ... moreand white transfer and rusty brown handcolors for the snipe. The age is somewhere in the very very early 1800s. The design is Elysium and is marked on the bottom. The black and white lovely transfer has a design of daisies and what looks like foxglove with the most wonderful small birds and big SNIPE. I believe these to be a bird called snipe. They are handcolored in a rusty brown. The pot is made of earthenware. Which is the early choice of English staffordshire along the Trent river. I cannot say enough about this beautiful pot. If this is not English, it is Irish beleek. I went to the factory in Ulster two years ago and the earthenware is the same with powders for coloring in rusts and dark blues. I know this because I had a set of the very first beleek plates and sold them to one of the most prominent Beleek collectors. He built a room to just to show them off. Now. Shipping: Shipping is $40. Extraordinary for its size, this lovely chamber pot or slop jar also has gold gild accents, beautifully painted floral designs on both sides and intricately designed handles. Without its lid, the chamber pot is 9 ¾" tall and has a diameter at the rim of 10" With the lid, it is 12 ¼" tall. It measures 13" handle to handle. The hand-painted design has sprigs of foliage and bluebells. The chamber pot carries the mark of the Edwin Bennett Pottery Company(Baltimore, ... moreMd) The mark is an illustration of the world with a sword piercing it diagonally, used 1890-1897. It has the Latin motto"Bona Fama Est Melior Zona Aurea" A rough translation is"A good reputation is better than gold. The handles have a fluted swirl design with gold accents, and the lid has a pretty embossed scallop design. Gold accents are also found along the bottom of the embossed area near the top rim. The gold is in very good to excellent condition, particularly near the rim. There is some wear to the gold on the handles. Both the chamber pot and its lid have fine all-over crazing, with the lid's crazing somewhat more pronounced. On the inside at the point of the bottom attachment of one of the handles, there is a small stress crack that does not go through. Up for Bid Antique Slop Bucket HUGE Doulton Burslem Tudor England Blue& White Original Wicker Handle 10" Tall. 10" Diameter and 13" Diameter Including Handles I wasn't able to find any information about this pot or its beautiful pattern. Perhaps it's a rare find. The coronet was probably added to the earlier mark c. 1886 to mark the appointment of Henry Doulton as'Potter to H.R.H. The Prince of Wales' later King Edward VI 1) ENGLAND was added underneath after 1891. This mark continued in use until 1902. It appears to have been used instead of B.3 especially on bone china products and on the more expensive earthen wares. A simplified version showing only the coronet on a flat base and the word DOULTON was also used. Wonderful antique condition!

A real beauty. The chamber pot measures 11 inches tall without counting the handle. It's over 10 inches across at the opening. Which is about 8 1/2 inches. A fairly heavy pot weighing well over 10 pounds. There are no chips, no hairline ... morecracks and no repairs. No kidding. The vented inset fits well and has no issues. Antique Royal Doulton Briar Rose Slop Pail / Chamber Pot w/ Old Staple Repair
You are bidding on an antique Royal Doulton slop pail which measures 11" T X 12" W and is in very good condition. There is a crack around the left handle which has an old staple repair. And some of the wrapped bamboo? handle is missing. I took this to my restorer, and he said that the old repair was very sturdy, but he did clean out the interior and spray it with a silicone for that extra strength. There are no other cracks, chips, or hairlines.

Absolutely beautiful vintage handled chamber pot/ slop jar with lid. It is marked on the bottom" 5130" The colors and details are unique. It is trimmed in almost a fuschia color with a knight's helmet and crossed spears/ arrows on each side of the pot and with three of these emblems on the lid. There is also what looks like a navigational rosette around the base and lid. Inside. The rounded lip of the pot is circled with Greek key symbols. An Exceptionally Nice Antique Transferware Chamber Pot/ Slop Jar This piece was recently acquired from an estate in Upstate NY This 19th Century Transferware Piece was crafted by Minton in the Staffordshire district of London circa 1870's, The pattern is Minton's Genevese pattern which is a traditionally romantic scene of slightly Oriental styled buildings in a fantastical landscape with a lush border of florals and foliage. The body is ironstone, This comes with the jar. The scarce insert and the lid. The jar itself has knob handles on each side for the addition of a leather or fabric handle if desired. The knobs are also decorated. The insert fits securely in the top of the jar and is also decoratedon the top side as shown in photos. The lid has profuse decoration. The unit stands approximately 12 1/2" high. The pail is approximately ... more12" from handle to handle. In VERY GOOD condition with no damage or reapirs to either the lid or the insert. The pail has one chip at the base. Below the center image on one side(See photo) The pail has a light overall crazing evident on the exterior but not on the interior and no crazing at all on the insert or lid. Beautiful dark blue transfer on nice creamy white ironstone. It is marked on the base of the pail with the Minton Globe mark and the pattern name in a banner. The lid bears a small. Impressed MINTONS 13(or 18) mark on the underside. it is very difficult to read. The lid also bears impressed marks along the edge reading 51(or 5I) L in a circle and N, Very substantial piece weighing just over 10 pounds unpackaged! Used to keep the waste water from splashing out of the bucket when you went to empty it. These are hard to find because they were easily broken.
