1890's Harker White Pottery Semi Porcelain Chamber Pot Nice Mold
Nice old mold Harker Pottery 1890's chamber pot. Nice white semi porcelain with accents(some missing) in gold. Bottom has mark along side the slight crack and crazing. The crack runs from bottom to shoulders of the pot. If you don't plan to use it for it's intended purpose: Then it should't be a problem. I don't think it leaks anyway. This is a wonderful antique Semi-Vitreous porcelain chamber pot. It is a lovely rusty orange and white around the outside and all white on the inside. It has a scrolling accent design around the center of the outside and a handle with some scroll designs also. The bottom is marked with the green stamp mark of the bird with wings spread and the words. semi-vitreous porcelain" written around it. Underneath that is says, K.T. H. Co. This old pot is in good condition for its age. It does have some crazing on the inside bottom, but not bad. Around the outside, there are some paint scratches and scuffs. The bottom base edge has two 1/2" to 3/4" chips along its edge. But that is it! This piece is very old and looks pretty good for its age. It measures 10" across including the handle and 8 1/2" across the top of the pot. ... moreIt is 6" deep. This is a very nice, collectible piece that is heavy and solid. Antique Chamber Pot w/Lovely Flowers Hallmarked BOOTH'S Royal Semi-Porcelain
DESCRIPTION: I’m offering today an Antique Victorian Chamber Pot with Lovely Flowers Hallmarked Booth's. This large size Victorian Chamber Pot is from my personal collection. I've collected Chamber Pots for many years and love all the different patterns and designs from the Victorian era. This particular Chamber Pot is ivory or cream color with soft pastel flowers flowing around the circumference of the large bowl. The shades of the flowers are in pinks. Lavender, pale yellow, blue with a small amount of red and of course, lovely stems and leaves in muted green shade. The bulbous pot has embossed indentures giving the bowl a scalloped look. Under the top edge of the rim of the pot are embossed floral designs within the semi-porcelain bowl. The ornately curled handle for carrying from one area to another is embossed with lovely floral ... moredesign as well. The inside of the bowl is cream or ivory color with no decoration. The semi-porcelain is very thick and heavy for durability. It has debris in the bottom of the bowl which was fired into the semi-porcelain back in the 1800's. This was a common occurrence for the era. The bottom underside of the large chamber pot is hallmarked: BOOTH'S with a crown above and below that. Royal Semi-Porcelain. I use my chamber pots for many different items. I put them in the ladies room for magazines; simply roll the magazine and you can place many within the bowl. I put extra toilet paper rolls and sit the chamber pot beside the toilet or on an antique table in the restroom. I put hair products; which stand nicely within the confines of the bowl. It's also great to have in the hallway to store your keys when you come in the door. So many uses for this wonderful item from the Victorian era. For your consideration is this really lovely blue and white ceramic chamber pot. It is English in origin and the makers mark on the bottom reads. Ridgways England Semi Porcelain" and I think under that is reads" Dog. Rose" The pot measures about 6" high and about 9" in diameter. It has a raised pattern on the white background underneath the blue flowers. Some of the blue flower design spills over into the top of the lip onto the inside. It is in excellent age appropriate condition. There are no chips. Cracks or nicks. There is an unglazed spot which was a flaw in the making underneath the lip. This piece is marked"SEMI PORCELAIN" indicating it was made c. 1890, their earlier mark. It is a true antique. The piece 100 years old in excellent condition without chips or cracks. The bottom is marked with the'Anchor Pottery Logo- Trenton. NJ. I date this to the late 1800's. That is my guess. It is in good condition. There is hardly any crazing. The glaze and color is vibrant. There is a chip on the edge of the underside of the lid(see photo) This cannot be seen when the lid is on the chamber pot. What a lovely addition this would make to your decor. This is the real deal.
