Vintage Chamber Pot Enamel on Steel White w/ Red Trim and Lid Black Wood Handle
Vintage porcelain enamel on steel chamber pot. The base has gently curving sides in white with a line of red trim around the top rim. It's large enough and sturdy enough to sit on(of course) The lid fits well and is solid fire engine red. There is a wire handle on the base that has a rotating. Black wooden handle. It stands about 9 1/2" tall, is 10" wide and weighs just under 3 pounds. It came from an estate sale and it's not marked for manufacturer or age. It's clean and in good condition. There are two chips in the enamel on the bottom edge, four small rust spots inside and a few light marks from age.

OK. So here we have an, a-hem.pot-ery chamber pot, I suppose. I should resist even saying this, but I can't: I real ly wanted to list it as an over-sized Victorian mustache cup. Because I was ini tially struck by it s resemblance. Albeit on a larger scale, to just such an item which I also have listed as a separate auction. But this is. Indeed, a chamber pot. Since I've never used one of these and didn't want to practice. I can't give particulars on the methodology of use, so that's up to you to speculate. It is in fairly good used condition, no cracks or stains, the lid does have 3/4" chip on the topside rim and a 1/4" chip, 1/2" chip and a 3/4" chip on the underside of the outside rim. Vintage Chamber Pot Enamel on Steel White w/ Blue Trim and Lid Black Wood Handle
Vintage. Antique porcelain enamel on steel, enamelware chamber pot. The base has gently curving sides in white with a line of blue trim around the top rim. It's large enough and sturdy enough to sit on(of course) The lid fits well and is also white with blue trim. There is a wire handle on the base that has a rotating, black wooden handle and it also has an assist pour handle on the side. It stands about 9 1/2" tall, is 10" wide and weighs just under 3 pounds. It came from an estate sale and it's not marked for manufacturer or age. It's clean and in good condition. There is one little nick in the porcelain and a few small rust spots. The metal handle is rusty and it's left rust stains down both sides. There is some staining on the inside. All questions are welcomed. Furnival's Daffodil Chamber Pot Transferware Handle #248764 Circa 1895 Very Nice
Lovely Furnival's transfer ware chamber pot with daffodils and flowers. In excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The transfer looks very nice with no skips or misses that I can see. The nice point about this chamber pot is that there are splashes of color in the flowers- the large daffodil has some blue and yellow. The same goes for the back- please look closely at all nine photos. Gold speckling on rim and handle. Gold trim on bottom rim which has some minor wear in spots. Registration number 248764 which to the best of my knowledge is the date for 1895. The transfer carries over into the interior for 1.5" Curved handle has gold speckles with more transfer. Vintage Chamber Pot Admiral V.P. Co., White Porcelain, Handle, Large/Decorative
Very large. Heavy white porcelain chamber pot made by Admiral V.P. Co. I couldn't find information as to when the company manufactured these pots but would expect that it must have been in the early 1900s as chamber pots went out of fashion in the utility sense probably sometime after the 1920s. This one is in nice condition except for two chips on the bottom rim and a larger area where it appears the glazing has worn away. The chips are barely noticeable unless the pot is turned upside down as they extend only slightly above the bottom of the rim. The wire bail is completely rusted with the rust having leached onto the porcelain where the bail inserts into the side holes. There is a black wooden handle which is in very good condition with only minor age wear. There is some light crazing but the pot is shiny and would make a nice decorative ... morepiece in a bathroom or a beautiful large planter. The pot is 9-1/2" tall with a diameter of 9" and weighs 5+ pounds. Pick up may be arranged in SE CT to avoid the expense of shipping. A beige ceramic chamber pot/thunder mug. It was not a top of the line because the ceramics does not have the smoothest finish and the glaze was not applied evenly. It is in good shape and is not cracked or chipped. Apparently there was felt on bottom and now there is some felt residue left. Please view my pictures. Feel free to ask questions. Pottery Stoneware Chamber Pot Slop Bucket Metal Bale Wooden Handle
This is a vintage pottery or stoneware chamber pot or more accurately slop bucket. It measures. Not including the handle, 9" tall by about 9 1/4" in diameter across the top. This is made of a heavy pottery substance and the unglazed bottom rim looks like a crockery material. It has an overall pattern molded into the body of the bucket but there are the customary flaws as was common in common everyday pieces. There are a couple of stress lines that seem to affect the glaze only on the outside in photo two you can see the worst one. There is also one in the outside bottom and a small one inside. These lines DO NOT CARRY THROUGH to the opposing side of the pottery piece. There are also excess clumps of clay in the design that have been glazed over and small bubbles that have popped in the glaze during the firing process. Please zoom ... morein and look at all the photos closely. It also has some major chips around one handle on the outside"ear" that holds the wire in place, see photo 5. The wire handle is still intact and functioning so it really hasn't created a major problem. The handle is wooden and has been painted black and has lots of wear to the paint from everyday use. The outside rim of the pot also has some of the glaze rubbed off from the wire rubbing against it. It has no other chips, cracks, crazing or stains. ANTIQUE MAJESTIC LARGE PORCELAIN CHAMBER POT WITH BAIL & WOODEN HANDLE
Up for auction is an antique Majestic porcelain chamber pot with a bail and wooden handle. This lovely old chamber pot is 10" high by 9" in diameter across the top. There is a surface fracture on each side of the foot. A cracked joint where the bail attaches to the pot, a chip on the bottom edge and a little crazing on the inside bottom of the pot all as pictured. The bail is a little bent and the wooden handle does show wear. It is hallmarked Majestic on the bottom. The chamber pot is styled in a very ornate fashion and it displays beautifully despite the above mention issues. The large size and heavy weight is reflected in the shipping cost. Antique Primative Enameled Chamber Pot With Handle White & Black 1920's/30's
This beautiful emanel chamber pot. This measures 7" wide(not counting the handle) and 3 3/4" deep" deep. This is an older one from the 1920's or early 30's. This was found in the home my parents bought years ago. I have used it for years as a planter in the bathroom. It makes a great decorative piece. I have always gotten lots of comments about it.
