There are a few spot where the rust shows through but overall it is nice for its age and some where and tear is expected for this kind of item. This is a vintage porcelain enamelware white chamber pot or pail. Dome shaped black trim lid with swing bale wire and nicely turned wooden handle. It is a heavy duty piece. Measures approx. 10"high to rim has a width of approx. 10” at the rim and the circumference around the rim measures approximately 32 ½” This urn shaped pail is large and the pot and lid together weigh around 4 ½ pounds. There are a couple small chips around the lid rim. Three uniform marks on the bottom(possibly from the manufacturing process) and there is a manufacturer’s flaw of a paint drip as seen on the photo with the scale. Other than that. Pottery Stoneware Chamber Pot Slop Bucket Metal Bale Wooden Handle
This is a vintage pottery or stoneware chamber pot or more accurately slop bucket. It measures. Not including the handle, 9" tall by about 9 1/4" in diameter across the top. This is made of a heavy pottery substance and the unglazed bottom rim looks like a crockery material. It has an overall pattern molded into the body of the bucket but there are the customary flaws as was common in common everyday pieces. There are a couple of stress lines that seem to affect the glaze only on the outside in photo two you can see the worst one. There is also one in the outside bottom and a small one inside. These lines DO NOT CARRY THROUGH to the opposing side of the pottery piece. There are also excess clumps of clay in the design that have been glazed over and small bubbles that have popped in the glaze during the firing process. Please zoom ... morein and look at all the photos closely. It also has some major chips around one handle on the outside"ear" that holds the wire in place, see photo 5. The wire handle is still intact and functioning so it really hasn't created a major problem. The handle is wooden and has been painted black and has lots of wear to the paint from everyday use. The outside rim of the pot also has some of the glaze rubbed off from the wire rubbing against it. It has no other chips, cracks, crazing or stains. Vintage Black Trim Enamelware Chamber Pot/Bucket/Pail Wood Bail Handle
This vintage white with black trim enamelware/granite ware chamber pot/bucket/pail is in good used condition with some dark spots here and there but no holes through. It measures 8" tall and 9 3/4" in diameter at the top opening and 6 3/4" in diameter at the bottom. The handle does not stand up by itself. The photos show the condition so have a look.

Pot itself without the lid measures 8 5/8" H x 10" W at the top and is in VG condition with no chips in the enamel. The lid has some minor flaking on the inside out of sight(see last pic) and fits the pail on the inside rim with a nice overhang. Old ironstone embossed white lid only chamber slop pot bucket vintage antique
I have a lid only that was probably for a chamber or slop pot. White on white old embossed ironstone or china. 9" diameter. 1.75" high; 2.5" high to top of knob. Measuring on the outside of the rim at the bottom of the angle. The widest is about 8" diameter. Measuring inside of the raised rim is about 7" diameter. I find no chips. Cracks, chips or really any crazing. Some teeny inclusions and pocks normally seen in this old stoneware. I've tried to show the embossed pattern around the handle. Which is about 4.5" diameter. The outer edge of the lid has 4. Approximately 2" sections of scallops that have a curlicue of embossing at each end. Hard to photograph. The wire has some rust. The wood is faded. The bucket has definitely been used. It has some chips in the enamel mainly on the top of the lid and underneath the bucket.
