Aside from sheet music or records, it is also a great storage place for scrapbooking paper, newspapers, pictures and CDs/DVDs. It is in good condition, with some scuffs on the front. Made in England Circa 1940 Walnut Vertical tambour doors 36 total drawers Roller latches Small spot of damage to left door Minor wear Very sturdy, This very unique antique file or sheet music cabinet was made in England around 1940 and is a gorgeous walnut wood. The three vertically rolling tambour doors are the focal point of this cabinet. The originally had locks which held the doors up when closed. However those locks have been replaced with roller latches that are quite secure and require no key. Each tambour door houses a column of twelve open ... moreface drawers that slide in and out on wooden runners. Each drawer is about 15" wide. The top of this file cabinet is decorated with geometric and floral carvings which look beautiful. The paneled sides are clean and the brass hardware blends well with the walnut wood. There is one small spot of damage on the very left tambour door around the middle(see picture) and the entire piece has very minor cosmetic wear as you would expect from a piece of this age. Overall though, this cabinet is very sturdy and in very good condition. It is a unique piece that would make a wonderful addition to any home and can be used in a variety of ways. This is a beautiful vintage cabinet. Made for storing sheet music. There are 5 shelf inserts that are removable. The cabinet is made of mahogany and mahogany veneer. There is a skeleton key with it, which does work and lock the cabinet! A gorgeous decorative mirror is attached to the back of the cabinet. mirror does show some flaws from age, and there are surface scratches on the top of the cabinet, see photos. Cabinet measures 38" tall to the top of the cabinet. And then the mirror is an additional 9.75" tall at highest point. Body of cabinet is 17.24" wide and 14" deep. Inside shelves are original to this cabinet and do have some scratches and chips. The cabinet itself is solid and does not have any cracks. The photos are not greatest. This antique Larkin Co. Buffalo, NY cabinet has been stored for years originating from an 1800's farmhouse that was torn down in 1970. The original Larkin Brown Paper label is still attached on the back and it has not been refinished- it expresses directions for the care of the cabinet and identifies the piece as coming from Larkin Co. Buffalo N.Y. Factory no. 15 and a premium item produced circa 1895. This particular piece has a latch door opening to 4 shelves inside. This beautiful footed cabinet was manufactured by UDell Works in Indiana and displays many very unusual features. Specifically the glass door features lovely lattice scrolled wooden fretwork detail. There are four shelves in this cabinet and it comes in its original condition which also includes the original hardware. The condition of this cabinet is very good indicating it was well cared for over the years. It measures 40 inches in height. 21 inches in width, and 14-1/2 inches in depth. We don't know what type of wood it is made from but it is a rich dark wood may be mahogany. There is no manufacturer's mark but there is a partial paper sticker that reads Gately Furniture Co. on the back. It is in fair to good condition but the wood had dried a bit over the years so there is a split in the top and parting in the back. But it is intact and has all it's original shelves. As the photos show. There is some ornate workmanship in places, and the drawer has a curved front/top and has a mirror on top. Pretty tassel drawer pulls. I bought this cabinet in Richmond. Virginia, at a 2002 auction of English furniture. This cabinet was made in Liverpool, England. It is made of solid oak. And it looks like a previous owner brushed on a coat of tinted polyurethane over the original finish. There are four drawers, and the face of each drawer drops down, and the drawer pulls out to access the sheet music. Very sturdy ususual piece, hardware needs to be tightened a bit. Measures 19" wide. 13 1/2" deep and 40" tall. The inside has side slots supports for the wood shelves which are removable; it needs 2 shelves to be complete. The top edges shows some small slot holes where it likely had a gallery going around the edge which is now long gone. Otherwise fine clean solid sturdy condition with no damage, just minor age wear better than expected for an 1890 era music cabinet. The tiger quartersawn oak wood is beautiful and desirable, much nicer than the much more common walnut or mahogany. Please try to make a local pickup, we are located just south of Boston MA.

This is a quartersawn sheet music/ record cabinet made around 1900. The cabinet is in great shape and the wood has a beautiful original grain. The two front legs are in the Queen Anne style. There is no veneer loss. The only issue with the piece is the small headboard at the back is missing. But a woodworker should have no problem crafting a replacement since it's a simple piece. Measures 44 1/2" high to the top of the mirrored backsplash; or 36 1/2" high just the main body of the cabinet; 20 1/4" wide and 16" deep. The front legs are curved Queen Anne style. The mirror piece is beveled glass with serpentine shaped frame. The interior has a total of 6 slots- 5 shelves plus the base. The mahogany veneer is in great condition with a fine aged patina. Probably for music albums, or a bust of a composer. There is a drawer below that compartment, and below that a faux door with carved arrows and flaming torch. The case is on casters. The cabinet has the original finish, except the top surface appears nicely refinished. It measures 4'10" 58" tall by 4'9" 57" wide by 17" deep, the side cabinet shelves 14-1/4" wide by 11" deep. Vintage/ Antique Wooden Sheet Music Cabinet I'm not an expert so am not certain on type of wood. My best guess is maybe oak or mahogany but that is only a guess. Cabinet measures approximately 36-1/2" high. 17-1/2' wide, and 13" deep. Purchased by me at an estate sale auction a number of years ago and it's been stored in my extra closet for way too long. It needs a new owner who will appreciate its vintage beauty. It has great"bones" but definitely needs some TLC to see it shine back to its original greatness. Up for sale is a Victorian Sheet Music Cabinet. It has 6 drawers. It does not have any markings on it so I do not know the age or the maker. It has a few scratches on it. The right leg was slightly repaired. We did not notice it until we had someone look at it for us. The 6th picture shows the left side and the 7th picture shows the right side. I am showing you both to show that you really don't notice it. If you look at the picture right aside of where the swirling starts is a line. That is where it is cracked. This auction is for a neat vintage three(3) drawer"Music Cabinet" from England These were used to store different sheet& books of music for piano's years ago. They will still do that function. But now they have been used as bedside chest& a l ingerie chest. A lady I know that sells antiques in East Texas has one of this type of chest that she"lined" the bottom of each drawer with felt material and uses it to store her l ingerie in and it does double duty as a nightstand. These also look good in your kitchen used as a place to store your foil& other wraps. Storage bags& baggies" as well as paper plates. It stands 13" off the floor. All of the drawer fronts are 17" X 4" The inside measurements of the drawers are 15 3/4" X 12 3/4" and about 3 1/4" deep. A WORD ABOUT THE CONDITION. The overall condition of this chest is good. All of our items have all been around for quite a while. We do not sell reproductions. Gorgeous vintage mahogany wood 1940s Sheet Music Cabinet with curved door. We use it as a wine cabinet but can be used for anything. Biggest problem with this is the top- which is buckled and cracked- veneer peeling off- but it looks perfectly ok with something covering it. Cutwork brass decoration and beaded edge. The painting is exquisite. Depicts a pair of lovers on the front and charming landscapes on the side. Measures 18" x 16" x 48" high.
