Lets not forget the bob Evans tin can. It is GREAT. This is 70" tall, 47 1/2" wide. 28" front to back. The tambour roll is 13" tall, 22 1/4" wide, all doors in the top section are 11 1/4" wide, and are 18 1/4" and 35 1/4" tall. In the base the right hand drawers are all 10 1/4" wide. 21" front to back. They have depths of 2 3/4" 4, and 8 3/4" deep. Behind the two doors you will find. Two original wire baskets for lids or pots and pans. Also two original pull out shelves. These shelves are usually missing. Behind the large left door in the top section. I got this in two seperate pieces.That is to say. It was taken apart,top/bottom) to be moved in a Plywood shipping container.Both pieces are correct for each other, and the discoloration of the top piece,is a camera problem,or I should say Photographer)and the whole matches.The hinges are lose some, as the container allowed a little give on the feet.It is on wheels,the bottom)and the brackets are with the bottom piece,you can see them in the pictures. Antique Sellers/Hoosier Cabinet Flour Bin. This flour bin is painted on the outside only and is chipping. Comes with bracket that is attached to the flour bin. It also comes with two sliding lids of sorts and two other long brackets(see pictures) Flour appears to be stuck in the bottom and one of the flour arms is missing-it has three, but should have four. Does come with the cap to the flour bin also. A few dings, dents and rust, but overall in good condition for its age. Old Sellers Hoosier Kitchen Cabinet Cupboard Spice Jars Flour Bin Cutting Board
This auction features a vintage kitchen cabinet. Although the original nameplate is missing(Can be easily found on-line) This cabinet was made by the Hoosier Manufacturing Company in Indiana. This 2 piece cupboard stands 70 inches tall. Measures 41 inches wide, and is 27 inches deep outside measurements. The cabinet is super clean in condition, no repairs, cracks, or splits and is ready to go straight into your kitchen. This cabinet is in very good to excellent cosmetic condition. The pictures show this to be a tad more red in color than it actually is. The piece has a warm, rich brown tone. The upper section is clean and retains the original finish. Any door charts that were originally with this cabinet have been removed years ago, but those too can be found on-line for the purist. The two-piece tambour door slides open easily and is all-original, ... moreno repairs or missing pieces. When opened, one can see the flour bin and sifter, and the hanging jar rack. All but one of these small spice jars are included, and these are the original jars that came with the cabinet. The rack revolves easily and is structurally sound. The porcelain top is in excellent condition. Shows little signs of use, and best of all, no unsightly large chips or discoloration. Below the porcelain top, there is a bread board that has had its share of bread and vegetables cut on it, but is original to the cabinet. The base below when opened reveals a rack on the one side. Complete and without damage, and three drawers on the other. The drawers each have a large porcelain knob, I don’t think these are original and in my opinion need to find a new home as soon as possible, but they work as intended and are vintage knobs, just not the original ones. Two of the feet are missing the metal end-caps. The bottom inside sags a bit. Typical with these cabinets. This is a n antique Sellers Hoosier Glass jar with lid and stand. There is a raised"S" on each face and nice ribbing on the sides. There is so me minor wear along the inside of the rim of the mouth as would be expected. But otherwise the glass is perfect. The stand and lid are patinated as would be expected. It has a glass window to see the flour level and a handle that cranks a sifter. The inside area where the sifter is has a good amount of rust and the wire screen has completely deteriorated and is not useable. I believe it can be replaced but am not positive. Up for sale is my personal 25 year collection of Hoosier and Sellers kitchen cabinets. They are simplaly some of the best cabinets they you will ever see. Let me give you a general discription. All cabinets are all orginial including wood. Hinges, latches, charts, shifters, canisters, and sugar bins, and pull out tops, feet, and casters, bread drawers and sliding lids, racks and shelfs.Cabinet# 4(sellers) has the matching set of glass canisters including the spice, coffee, tea, salt, swing out sugar jar and matching glass canister with scoop. Also has egg timer on chart and the orginial paint on interior and automatic pull out bottom shelf. Cabinet# 3(Hoosier beauty) has the matching canister set including the 7 spice jars, coffee, tea, salt, measuring cup and salt and pepper shakers.Cabinets 1&2(The older Hoosiers) have matching canister ... moresets, one glass and the other tin, including spice and coffee, tea, and salt disspencers. Rolling pins and spices and most of the hand gagets are included. Canisters sets can be switched in these two cabinets. Both of the zink tops have the patten date on them.The bottom panels on these two cabinets have been repacled but have been stained and weathered to look as close to orgnial as possible. All drawers, hinges, latches, slides work as they should with no binding, sagwing, or spring loading. I have treasured these cabinets for many years and I would consider then to be family Heirlooms to be handed down and not just a kitchen cabinet. If you are only interested in one cabinet it can be bought for a asking price of 2200.00. Yes you can buy a cheaper cabinet but I don't think you can buy a better cabinet. Vintage,Antique Sellers,Hoosier Cabinet 8" Coffee Canister,Glass Jar,Ribbed
Hoosier/Sellers Cabinet Coffee Canister 8" tall. 4" diameter Ribbed jar with"Coffee" in raised print. Screw on lid(cannot tell if this is an original or not) Lid has one tiny'ding' on the edge. This jar has LOTS of large bubbles and imperfections. There are a few spots in the glass that look like cracks or shattered lines. But on inspection, I feel they are imperfections. The glass inside and out in these spots is perfectly smooth, and I cannot SEE any cracks, even with a magnifying glass. They almost look like bubble explosions, as this jar has very large bubbles. There is a rough spot on top edge with a tiny chip along the edge. As you can see in my photo, there is a large bubble at this spot, right up to the edge. Nice vintage condition! One of the kind that was made for use in Hoosier or Sellers kitchen cabinets. The sides are panelled, and"COFFEE" is molded in the glass front. It still has the original aluminum lid, dented and showing some age, but it functions OK. It measures 7" tall and about 4 1/4" diameter. There is some roughness from small flakes in the glass along the inner edge of the opening. Underneath the lid and not visible. There are no breaks or hairlines in the glass. Antique Vintage Hoosier Sellers Cabinet Tin Flour Bin - With SWING OUT BRACKET
selling a vintage original Hoosier/ Seller type flour bin with the original bracket, bin measures 26.5" high on the front side, bin measures 23.5" high on the back side- the top slants to the back, bin measures 10.75" wide, bracket measures 28.5" not including mounting bracket- springs can be added to help the loaded bin swing back in place glass is missing- but I have a piece that could be cut down. This is still solid. shows signs of age such as nickel coating is all but gone from use and age. No bending or rust holes. This auction is for the vintage kitchen cabinet wire rack shown in the photos. Please examine the pictures closely as they best show the condition of the item. This rack could be used in any of the vintage kitchen cabinets and would add a realistic. Nostalgic look. It is made to hold 6 spice jars and one larger 4 1/4" diameter jar. Original SELLERS Kitchen Cabinet Tilt Out Hoosier SUGAR - FLOUR - GRAIN BIN
Original SELLERS Kitchen Cabinet Sugar- Grain- or Flour Bin. Hard item to find. These were normally found in the 48" cabinets in the lower right hand corner of the top. Also sometimes found in the wider Wilson Kitchen Cabinets. This is a"tilt-out" bin(see photo 3) And is 13" high, 10" wide, and 9" deep. Overall it is in very good condition. Paint has been cleaned off of it. Outside is very good, inside has a little surface rust that still needs some cleanup. NO RUST THROUGH spots. No dents or damage. HOOSIER STYLE CABINET - EARLY 1900's SELLERS KITCHEN ORIG ETCHED GLASS INDIANA
This Sellers Hoosier style cabinet was manufactured in Indiana most likely between 1913-1933. I found a picture in Philip D. Kennedy's Hoosier Cabinets book(page 79) which is this cabinet exactly. Stating that it is a 1913(which would make it 100 years old! The book says that the cabinet in the picture is 52" wide whereas this cabinet is 56" wide not allowing for the metal brackets that hold the counter. It has been here in the mountains of New Mexico for 25+ years. Well cared for and maintained. The previous owners(good friends of ours) told us that it was a green color at one time and was restored to it's original finish. There is a small amount of evidence that it was another color and I have pictures I can send to a serious inquirer. Inside the large three section drawer there are two spots- I didn't even know about ... morethem until I started taking pictures. You don't notice them. I believe I took about 25 pictures and chose 12. More are available should you have any questions. The entire cabinet unit(comes apart into 2 parts) is in wonderful condition! We hate to part with it but it won't fit in our next house. There isn't a wall it will fit on. I have attached 12 photos. Experimenting without flash and some with flash. I had the misfortune of choosing an overcast day to take the pix so flash was necessary at times. I prefer natural light for furniture as it captures a more accurate color. Some of the interior pictures(the flour bin and sifter. For example) are with flash. This is an old flour sifter from a hoosier cabinet. Has the two brackets. Plus the rack for the hoosier glass shakers. Rack for shakers is approx. 16" long and 2 3/4" wide. Sifter is approx. 8 3/4" by 9 1/2" and just under 10" tall. These do show some light rust. But I have seen most people clean them up and just paint them to match their kitchen colors. Getting it all. Wonderful vintage Sellers brand hoosier and sellers brand side cabinets. Very hard to find an original set only one owner. The hoosier was refinished it was originally white as were the side cabinets. The two side cabinets were painted a white wash look. The stamps are on the back of each piece Crystal white oak 483-493. The sellers plaque is on the front of the hoosier. Has the wooden bread cutting board-receipe pull out box-flour bin(the silver lid that goes on top of the flour bin is missing but the lid on the bottom is there)and the bread box. Original brackets to hold top to bottom plus screws. The porcelain top has no chips. No smells was still being used. They sit solid but look leaning as my driveway is not straight.
