GORGEOUS HOOSIER CABINET- LATE 1800'S OR EARLY 1900s! This lovely antique. Hoosier cabinet is in my home and gets the most compliments ever! IT IS A RARE FIND: LARGE PULL OUT BOTTOM BARREL DRUM DRAWER. PULL OUT MIDDLE BARREL DRUM DRAWER(Terrific bread box) JUST UNDER THE ANTIQUE GLASS DOORS* ORIGINAL. ANTIQUE GLASS IN THE DOORS. THE BOTTOM SECTION: The total length of bottom is 48” inches across x 30¼” inches tall x 26 ¾” inches deep. There is a right side barrel. Pull out drawer that is 17” wide and extra deep at 15 ¾” at its deepest while on its left side there is a swing open door with two shelves inside for storage. There is a pull out. 16” wide cutting board that is directly on top of the side drawer mentioned above. THE TOP IS JUST TOO NEAT: The top is total of 41” wide x 12 inches deep x 40” tall. This was used for decades in an old country kitchen and it's time to put it back into service as a wonderful accent piece or baking center. 50.5" h 46" w 24" d Condition: One spice drawer knob is replaced and the top of the drawer is chipped. 1930s Hoosier Table with"The Watertown Slide" extention This beautiful old. Unique, antique table is absolutely gorgeous and only has a few flaws as anything this old would. The legs need some work and although the top has been refinished, it shows some spots that are imperfect. This table belonged to my husband's Grandparents. His Mother used to eat dinner on this table every night when she was growing up in the 30s and 40s(she is in her mid-seventies now) The bottom has a plate that says 1932. It's mechanism allowed it to be stored with the table when a leaf(or extention) was not needed. It was called"The Watertown Slide. You simply pull the table apart, push up the leaf and gently push it back together again. There arent very many of these tables around anymore. This is a similar idea first used by The Hoosier Manufacturing Company that used a"Want List" and later a"Hoosier Daily Reminder" which the housewife used to remind her of what she needs before she goes shopping at the store. She would either put a tack beside the item she needed or pointed a hand like on a clock to the item she needed before going to the store. The actual name of the company that this was made for is"The Boone Campbell Smith Richie Co. in Lebanon. Indiana. They were one of the larger and better kitchen cabinet manufacturers in their day. This Grocery List was circa 1920's and made of tin in blue and white colors with red"buttons" You will notice in the pictures on the bottom right it says"Patent ... moreApplied For" It measures 8" X 12 3/4" Tall and would be a great display addition to any collection for the primitive collector. All of the original red buttons are still intact and there is some surface rust here and there. I think overall it is in good condition and has been taken pretty good care of considering its age, use, normal wear and tear. Antique Hoosier Style/Type Cabinet/Cupboard
Beautiful antique Hoosier style/type of kitchen cupboard/cabinet for sale. This beautiful piece of wood furniture appears to be either pine or maple. But not sure. It has a wonderful natural wood, fine, soft finish, fine wood details, beautifully curved lower drawers, turned legs, and very nice wood knobs, all of which make this piece of furniture stand out and complement it's character beautifully. Displays of antique jars, tins, cans look terrific on the cupboard/cabinet! I have owned this cupboard/cabinet since the early 1970's and believe it to be one of the nicest antique kitchen cupboard/cabinets that I have ever seen and that is available for sale today.

Original Antique 1900's Boone Hoosier Tin Litho Canister Set- 8 Piece Set
Up for auction is this relatively. Rare, hard to find, 8 piece, Boone Hoosier Cabinet Canister Set consisting of Coffee, Tea, Allspice, Cloves, Baking Powder, Ginger, Cream of Tartar, and Cinnamon. These Sets were most commonly associated with Boone Kitchen Cabinets. Some of these canister sets were marked. Boone" these are not. As you can probably tell from the pictures. This set certainly shows its age. which is early 1900's- The Coffee Canister(7" high. 4" wide) shows most of its wear on the lid but does have the original knob on top. The word"Coffee" is very legible. The"Tea" Canister(5" high, 3 1/4" wide) is pretty much in the same shape. Although worn. None of the 8 tins have any rusted through spots, nor do they have any significant denting or wear to litho. Of the Spice Tins(5" ... morehigh, 2 1/4" in diameter) they vary in condition with most of the rusty, worn areas on the top shaker parts and rims. Old Antique OAK Hoosier Kitchen Cupboard Cabinet Copper Counter Slag Glass Doors
Vintage Hoosier Style Kitchen Cupboard Cabinet w/Copper& Slag Glass Doors This is a gorgeous old kitchen'Hoosier style' cupboard. It has the base. The hutch and a beautiful copper topped counter that does indeed pull out on the base. The top hutch has three doors on the top part with leaded Slag Glass in green and white milk-glass. These appear to have been added to the doors some time ago when this piece appears to have been refinished. The lower part of the upper hutch have two larger wooden doors. The outside of the right door appears to have sustained surface water damage to it some time ago. The bottom base part has one large latching door on the left side that reveals a metal lined storage bin with one wire rack making a shelf in it. The right side has three drawers where the twop two right side drawers are in wood and the ... morebottom right drawer is lined in tin/metal. The counter is simply beautiful. The counter was resurfaced in a solid sheet of copper sometime ago when the entire piece was lightly refinished. The copper counter has a nice protective coat of varnish or poly on it as does the entire piece. The sheen is in a nice soft gloss. Not a shreakingly heavy gloss that makes one put on sunglasses just to look at it. This piece is on metal casters with wood wheels and is easy to move if needed. The drawer pulls appear to be original to the piece. However some of the upper hardware appears to have either been moved during the restoration or have been replaced. All the hardware appears to be correct for the piece, I just can not swear it is all orginal to the piece. The family reports that they just remember this piece being as it has always been so the restoration work done on this piece was done at least more than 40-50 years ago. If I were to keep this for my very own. I would be proud to display it in my own kitchen and show it as my own. Take that for what it is worth. I will gladly entertain reasonable offers. Up for sale is my personal 25 year collection of Hoosier and Sellers kitchen cabinets. They are simplaly some of the best cabinets they you will ever see. Let me give you a general discription. All cabinets are all orginial including wood. Hinges, latches, charts, shifters, canisters, and sugar bins, and pull out tops, feet, and casters, bread drawers and sliding lids, racks and shelfs.Cabinet# 4(sellers) has the matching set of glass canisters including the spice, coffee, tea, salt, swing out sugar jar and matching glass canister with scoop. Also has egg timer on chart and the orginial paint on interior and automatic pull out bottom shelf. Cabinet# 3(Hoosier beauty) has the matching canister set including the 7 spice jars, coffee, tea, salt, measuring cup and salt and pepper shakers.Cabinets 1&2(The older Hoosiers) have matching canister ... moresets, one glass and the other tin, including spice and coffee, tea, and salt disspencers. Rolling pins and spices and most of the hand gagets are included. Canisters sets can be switched in these two cabinets. Both of the zink tops have the patten date on them.The bottom panels on these two cabinets have been repacled but have been stained and weathered to look as close to orgnial as possible. All drawers, hinges, latches, slides work as they should with no binding, sagwing, or spring loading. I have treasured these cabinets for many years and I would consider then to be family Heirlooms to be handed down and not just a kitchen cabinet. If you are only interested in one cabinet it can be bought for a asking price of 2200.00. Yes you can buy a cheaper cabinet but I don't think you can buy a better cabinet. Antique old vintage HOOSIER part tambor door sifter flour bin spice rack kitchen
Fresh from an old estate in northern New York! Antique hoosier cabinet parts. Includes metal flour bin with sifter. Wooden tambor door. And two spice racks. The door and bin came from the same cabinet. And both have old orange paint on them. The two metal spi ce racks are of unknown origin and age and have th eir mounting screws taped to them. The two spice racks are made of aluminum and say"Dor-File" on them. 11" x 2.25" x 2.5" The tambor door is made of wooden slats and still rolls up. Measures 24.25" x 15" Flour bin is made of steel(oxidation and/or paint on s ome surfaces) and stands 25" tall from top of wooden front panel to bottom of sifter. Square i nterior of bin measures 11.5" x 9.5" x 12" that measure m ent does not include the tapered bottom part with sifter at the bottom. ... moreThe sifter still works when you you turn the wooden handle d crank. HOOSIER Authentic Antique 1932 Tiger Oak Dining Table
Authentic Antique 1932'HOOSIER' Tiger Oak Dining Table* This is a genuine Hoosier Tiger Oak dining room table with turned legs. It was made by the Hoosier Kitchen Equipment Company of New Castle. Indiana. It has a hidden extension leaf in the center of the table that is connected to hinges on each side. When the sections are pulled apart, the hidden leaf is exposed. It is then raised and jointed together to each section. Underneath, there is a gear that turns on two tracks with teeth as the sections are moved back and forth with ease. There is a metal stamped plate underneath above the gear area. That patent plate shows that this unique design was created& engineered by the Hoosier Kitchen Equipment Company. The table measures 46" long without the extension leaf in place. With the extension leaf. It measures 63" long. ... moreIt is 30" high. The condition is VERY GOOD ++ and it has obviously been well cared for. Still looking beautiful. It does have some'warping' in the center of the table and with the extension pulled up and out. There is still slight warping noticeable but I this could be fixed if you know how? I have used this table for almost 18 years. They do not make tables like this anymore! It does have some nicks and scratches and so forth but they are superficial and I am certain they can also be fixed quickly if you have the'know how' The finish still looks very nice! This table is no doubt a rare and unique example of Hoosier furniture representing fine quality craftsmanship during the first part of the 20th century. Most people are familiar with the Hoosier Cabinets made in New Castle. Indiana. They were, and are known for their style and practicality.Scientific" design for improved sanitation, and the popularity of a separate dining room, meant storage and work space was at a premium. Vintage,Antique Sellers,Hoosier Cabinet 8" Coffee Canister,Glass Jar,Ribbed
Hoosier/Sellers Cabinet Coffee Canister 8" tall. 4" diameter Ribbed jar with"Coffee" in raised print. Screw on lid(cannot tell if this is an original or not) Lid has one tiny'ding' on the edge. This jar has LOTS of large bubbles and imperfections. There are a few spots in the glass that look like cracks or shattered lines. But on inspection, I feel they are imperfections. The glass inside and out in these spots is perfectly smooth, and I cannot SEE any cracks, even with a magnifying glass. They almost look like bubble explosions, as this jar has very large bubbles. There is a rough spot on top edge with a tiny chip along the edge. As you can see in my photo, there is a large bubble at this spot, right up to the edge. Nice vintage condition! This is an original drawer from an Antique"Hoosier" type Kitchen Cabinet. This one is the metal potato or meal drawer. The metal is rusty and is rusted through in 3 or 4 spots. The oak front needs to be reattached. It has the original handle and oak front. It needs an opening to be about 15 1/2" wide. 20 1/2" deep, and 9 1/4" tall. Those are the measurements of the drawer. A Baker's Cabinet has loosely been refered to as a Hoosier cabinet due to the large number sold by"The Hoosier Manufacturing Company" Originally a typical baker's cabinet would consist of a table with drawers and bins for flour or meal. The upper shelf would include shelves for dishes or utensils. In the Midwest Ohio region. By the turn of the century, a few small furniture companies began to mass produce these free standing kitchen ... morecabinets. These company's accomodated the independent baker to store all the items needed right at their fingertips. Built in flour bins with sifters attached. Sugar containers, and spice jars were helpful. Large bottom cabinets provided storage for utensils and pans. A work table top attached to the cabinet provided space to roll out the dough and prepare the breads and pastries. Various materials. Including wood, zinc, and alluminum, have been used for the workstation tops, the most popular and healthiest was porcelain. Through the use of a bracket to lift the upper cabinet above the lower, the work table could extend out for a larger working space. Roll doors were used as sanitary means and ant proof casters placed at the 4 feet kept the pests from crawling up into the cabinet. Boone Cabinets were designed by 369 women. Antique Hoosier Cabinet Clock Iron Board Bread Board File RARE ONE An unusual and rare to find Hoosier cabinet. It has a clock. Ironing board that pulls out, bread board, file section for envelopes and bills. Never saw another like it before and we have sold many of these type of cabinets. Signed Helen Boone on the back. An all in one purpose item: It measures 70 inches. 25 inches depth and 41 inches width. It has aged through the years and has been painted and a grain look given to it. The original color I think was gray. The iron board part has pieces that have come off. There's a hole to the back. This listing is for a pair of original Antique Kitchen Cabinet bracketts to mount the top to the base. The groove provides a place for the table top to slide in and out. 11 1/2" long. 3 7/8" wide. These were salvaged from an antique cabinet. They are very dirty and rusty. You will need to soak in a chemical to clean them or to wire brush them to make the polished. This one has nice squared and bowed out corners with ridge or ribbed accents. There is also a ribbed detail on the top and bottom of each side which look like the sun rising.they have the mounted look. There are no maker marks on this piece, no number or any markings, the cover is a metal which certainly has age and while it looks like it was originally white, it now has the tin slightly rusting look, it is also rusted on the inside but there are no holes.however, it works well. There is a slight chip on the inner threading at the top of the jar ... morebut the cover screws on nicely and it does not affect the cover at all. The glass has a sort of wavy look to it, the bottom is in good condition and there is a slightly raised circle in the center, there are no chips or cracks to the overall jar, it is quite heavy.weighing 3 1/2 lbs prior to packing. It is 7 3/4" tall, the bottom 6 1/4" square and the opening at the top is 5" diameter. Really nice original piece.you can always paint the lid.ha. Sold As IS because of chips on the base, otherwise in very good condition for its age. I will combine shipping!
