This is a BE AUTIFUL antique cherry wood hutch AND buffet. I'm not sure how far back these go but living memory in the family remembers them in the 1930's. In the 19 60s they were valued at above $2000. My camera wa sn't the greatest but they are in VERY beautiful condition. There is one very minor chip in the wood on the hutch. 18th century solid oak Butlers Hutch This was purchased over 30 years ago at the Antique Buyers guild( The old Helms Bakery L.A) We where told at the time of the purchase that it dates to the late 1700's and was made in the Adam period French in origin. It is a impressive piece of furniture. It is all hand carved solid oak. The cabinets each have one shelf inside bottom is sagging so I placed a piece of hard board in there. It has a incredible dark patina. It measures approx. 94 1/2" tall 47" wide under 24" deep The hutch is attached to the base using dowels So it lifts off the base From what I remember they only stick out a inch You need at least a 8' ceiling. My home was built in the late 1940's so the ceilings are 8'2" a newer home might be a tight fit. Years ago because I was concerned about earthquakes ... moreI attached 2) 2"x4"s to the back to make it sturdier. They are stained to match. So for those of you with a tight fit. I think it could be set up without the dowels across the back because of the 2" x4"s the 2 spindles in the front supporting the hutch also come off. There are dowels sticking out both ends. You could leave one end in and maybe put a screw trough the bottom. One other modification I noticed will up inside the cabinet is that wood was added on both sides under the base's top( I would guess the top may have been sagging under the weight of the Hutch) hence the addition. There are 2 small dowels missing on the rail on the inside( good place) hardly noticeable. One small piece gone off the top. Again hardly noticeable. I didn't catch it when I bought it. Other then that as you can see it is impressive without being over bearing. I don't need to sell so I don't plan on dropping my prices. This price is what I want to part with it. Berkey & Gay Antique Furniture Dining Set Table/Chairs, Hutch, Buffet, Sideboard
This Berkey& Gay dining set consists of a 3-leaf table. 8 chairs, 1 china hutch, 1 buffet and 1 sideboard. It is made of walnut, with many sections being bookmatched figured walnut- absolutely beautiful. All pieces are matching, and feature the metal medallion used in Berkey& Gay's furniture from the 1920's-1940's. Our best guess is that these pieces were made in the 20's. They're in excellent condition for this vintage. You'll see some very slight damage, shown in the last 4 photos. The brass label was used starting around the 1920's until Berkey and Gay went out of business in the 1940's. Please note that it is not uncommon to find both brass and paper labels used during the same era. Antique French Normandy Provincial Buffet. The hutch is two piece measuring 44 1/4" wide by 16 1/2" deep and stands 79" tall. The top can be mounted on the wall for additional work space. The bottom dresser top is full finished.The buffet features two plate rails a single lower silver drawer and a full cabinet with one shelf below. This is quite a handsome piece with figural carvings and spooled turnings. The piece is in excellent condition with the original hardware. The hardware could be polished to reveal the brass and make the piece pop. We have left in with the original patina for the purest. The Normandy buffet is legal antique and dates circa 1840. Antique Country farmhouse buffet cupboard hutch
This is a beautiful. Country Cupboard Hutch. The top has a unique stepped back design with plate grooves on all the shelves. There is lots of storage on the bottom section with two cabinets 25 1/2 wide by 24 inches tall,with two shelves running the entire width of the cupboard. There are two drawers with crystal knobs. Overall, it is 61" Wide x 81 and 1/4" High x 19 and 1/2" Deep. The base is 36" High with an original cutting board in the center. This hutch has some primitive painting and distressing and is painted a golden yellow color. This is a beautiful piece. But it's just too big for my current home. Will entertain reasonable offers.

Antique 1929 Cherry Wood Dining Set Table Chairs Buffet Hutch vintage 9 Piece !!
I am the 2nd owner of this nice vintage dining room set-I bought it from the estate of a lady that purchased it new in 1929. Original tags still attached-reads-made by Bernhardt Furniture Co. Lenoir, North Carolina-the underside of the table is also stamped: Oval Table-Cherry-29-etc. Made of Cherry wood-medium, chestnut brown stain allows for much of the grain in the wood to show. Set consisted of table with removable center piece-5 regular chairs and one captain's chair with arms-hutch and buffet. I bought these 20 years ago and now am getting different furniture. I had the seats professionally reupholstered long ago to match my decor(olive green/goldish print)I have always kept seat pads on the chairs when in use-so the seats are in great condition. Table measures 58" x 40" x 30 1/2" tall-with an additional center piece ... morethat measures 12" wide. The Hutch is 47" x 15" x 70" tall. The Buffet is 57" x 17 1/2" x 30 1/3" tall. Overall very nice condition-normal wear for being 84 years old. Some things I would mention are that the wood color of the center piece section is darker than the rest of the table, it was like that when I bought it-possible meant for contrast or maybe because it was stored out of the light)also a slice of the corner wood has broken off as can be seen the the picture-back rt corner of section. Also-a bit of wood had chipped off the top corner of the table leg(tiny but I mention it to be exact-not seen from the top) The legs screw off with attachment bolts to remove them for storage. Also, one chair missing a decorative wood curve on front leg-shown in pic. Also- scratch on table top-6" and 1 1/2"shown in last pic-could be buffed/polished-I leave that to the new owner-totally useable as is. If I missed something-please ask. The color of the hutch in the first pic is the true color-rich and beautiful. Exquisite antique hand carved English hutch / dresser / buffet / sideboard oval
INCREDIBLE hand carved English hutch/buffet/sideboard just waiting for that perfect spot in your home. Made entirely of beautiful dark wood. This piece has been meticulously carved by hand, and no opportunity for adding elegance has been missed. Includes all original hardware and mirror. This sideboard separates into two pieces in case you only want to use the buffet portion on the bottom. The sides of the hutch include intricately carved finials and small"shelves" for displaying your favorite small items(I used antique perfume bottles) and small painted plates. There is a small crack along the left side of the buffet close to where it meets the hutch, which I assume is due to its travel from England. Two carved doors on bottom open to reveal a spacious interior with original shelf, and two drawers open smoothly to store smaller ... moreitems. Right side of cabinet tends to come open if not locked, but a regular basic skeleton key keeps it closed easily. We are pleased to offer this INCREDIBLE set! This offering features 8 pieces of ORIGINAL. Antique, French Country(Brittany) carved wood. The set includes 5 dining chairs, 2 piece hutch and buffet, and exceptional slide or pull out leaf dining table. All of the pieces feature twist leg design. The chairs have carved figural backs. The buffet features a center, carved figural feature with two side compartments. The leaded glass front hutch features two center panels of green stained glass with gold leaf painted figures. The hutch sits freely on top of the buffet with no attachment screws. Ornate hardware and notched, carved details are also present on the buffet and hutch. The hutch and buffet doors retain the original locks and there is one original key that opens and locks them all. The table top is held in place with a large dowel or peg ... moreand lifts completely off to reveal the intricate workings of the slide-out extension leaves. The table has a carved wood stretcher that has been carved to fit securely.it is not attached with nails or screws. The chairs have old, red leather or vinyl covered seats. The set is in remarkable condition for its age. There is expected age and wear to the table top. There is a small area that has been filled with wood putty at some point(see picture 12) The table top could be lightly sanded and varnished and it would look practically new. It is quite stunning as it is because the antique character is striking. The extension side leaves slide easily and are working properly. There is one old peg under the table top that is missing but the one remaining holds the top quite securely. The chairs are very sturdy and the leather/vinyl coverings are free of rips. Tears, etc. The seat springs are in good condition as well. The padding is worn and you can feel the bounce of the springs when you sit on the chairs. Antique Mechelen oak Style Hutch, buffet or cabinet with Leaded stained glass
Mechelen style Cabinet or Hutch in what appears to be dark oak with leaded stained glass featuring griffens. I am told it likely dates to the late 1800's. I do not know if it is Mechelen or Mechelen Style so I am being cautious. This cabinet is in good condition for it's age. It has a slight crack in the glass the glass is not broken. There is a 2 inch hold cut into the top of this piece that the previous owner used to install a light. This piece would be difficult to ship but would be willing to crate and freight shippers or another company that ships older pieces like this. This item does break down into two peices. Here we have a beautiful antique Victorian era server or storage cabinet. It would make a perfect stand for any number of things. It has a lot of storage inside behind that big door too. It measures 36" wide by 35" tall by 24" deep. It is also on wheels and rolls very smoothly across the floor. The finish seems to be original. It is possible this piece was the bottom of a hutch as the top is unfinished in the center and has a piece of vinyl on the center as shown in the picture. Up for auction is a antique Reaser Furniture. Gettesburg PA Dull finish Buffet and Hutch set. 1920's Pattern 883 and 884. Buffet measures 65 inches wide 22 inches deep and 26.5 Height.Hutch measures 38.5 wide 13.75 deep and 50 inches height. This is an 1800s antique hutch I am listing for my parents. It was being used by a friend of theirs to display antiques at a quilt shop. This is completely restored with all original pieces except the hardware and a part of the back. The mirror in the center top has to be removed to fit through the doorway. I have the dimensions 20" Wide 66 1/2" length and 84" high to the top of the mirror. 70" without the mirror. This has glass in the doors and we have the glass but it was removed to move the cabinet and can be left out for you to move it or can be installed back in the cabinet. My parents are elderly and would not be able to move this piece of furniture for you. But could arrange for help in getting it loaded. Antique Carved Wood Buffet Sideboard Server Hutch Cabinet
We don't know how old this buffet is but were told that it is antique. The wood is beautifully carved and refinishing would make this a fine piece of furniture to own. It is very heavy and measures 54" W x 39" H X 19" D. The back wood piece is thinner and has a split on one side. We are asking $400 or best offer.
