I don’t see a maker’s mark, but this is ... morehigh quality company. It has four sections that are all slatted oak. Each bookcase section is 14 inches wide, 8 inches deep, 12 inches high on the bottom, 10 inches high on the other 3 levels. The overall height of the bookcase is 58 inches. The finish is very nice and it will hold many books. The only thing I see wrong with it is that there are lamination seams on the top came apart a bit, but is structurally sound. It revolves on a metal base. Shipping starts at $285 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges, which could add on especially if you're on the West Coast.

I think the wood could be walnut the more I look at it in this dark finish. The overall size is 21 inches square and 35 inches high overall. Each section is 10 inches wide, 7 inches deep, 11 inches high and 12 inches high on the bottom shelf. It is missing a few of the brass tacks, but overall it is complete. We are pleased to offer this great Victorian bookcase. The maker of this is unknown to us. This is not a reproduction. The bookcase has been refinished and restored with a new back and two shelfs. It was finished in a honey color. This is made from either maple or cherry under the stain. This has carved designs above the glass panels on the doors. The top has a broken scroll style pediment backsplash with carved and applied acanthus leaf design. The doors have their original wavy glass and the original key as well. The dimensions of each of the four adjustable, removable, fluted front shelves are 14 ¼” in depth by 46 ¾” in length. The original fancy carved top gallery is completely intact. GOLDEN OAK VICTORIAN DOORED BOOKCASE W/ 4 ADJUSTABLE SHELVES & BEVELED MIRROR
This is a beautiful golden oak victorian bookcase circa 1880. The bookcase has 2 glass doors. 4 adjustable shelves, and 2 storage drawers at the base. The drawers have the nice original hardware including key eschusions and locks although there is no key. However the doors doesn't have the key eschusion but has the lock and the working key. The same key does not fit the doors and drawers. The bookcase is a nice size. It measures 70 1/2" tall, 36" wide, and is 13 1/2" deep at the top 12" deep at the shelves and 15" deep at the base. The original beveled mirror on the top backsplash is 10 1/2" x 6 1/2" oval and has a smoky appearance. There is nice trim around the doors. The bookcase is a little loose from side to side but by no means in bad shape. It is very useable without any repair. Email with any ... morequestions. We scuffed down the old finish and re-sprayed it to bring out the beautiful luster of the rich black walnut patina from the 1880s, and left it pretty much like it was. It has the teardrop pulls on the bottom, and the glass appears to be the old wavy glass, at least on one of the doors. It has three adjustable shelves behind the double doors, and burl walnut accent panels on the outside edges across the header of the crown molded top. It’s a petite little bookcase, measuring only 50 inches across, 16 inches deep at the base, and the bookcase section is 12.5 inches deep, and it is 61 inches high. It’s a great-looking bookcase. Item: Up for auction is this original finish Victorian Bible Stand or Bookshelf. The Stand measures 15x30 and is 34 inches tall. It is constructed of solid quarter sawn oak with very nice patterns. It is structurally sound and ready for use. As any antique in original condition. Signs of wear and use are evident. The photos show some marks on the top and some wear related rubs on the base. Most are considered superficial and part of the history of this peice. Overall, this table is in very good condition and should provide many years of use and beauty. And dammed to create the mill pond and drive the water wheel, which was housed in the three storey section of the building. The water mill was converted to steam in the late 1800s. When the wheel was replaced by a steam engine, with the ground grain being used as feed for the horses at the nearby Croft Quarry. For your consideration, this fabulous and very impressive Tall Victorian Rococo Flame Mahogany Secretary with Arched Bookcase Top(Circa: 1860) This gorgeous two-piece Secretary weighs approximately 170 pounds and measures 102 ½” in total height(from the floor to the arched top of the crown) 44 ¼” in width, and 20 ½” in depth. The three adjustable shelves each measure 9” in depth and 41 ¼” in width. This is truly one of the most beautiful Victorian Secretaries of its kind that we have had the privilege to offer. You will notice that there is some faint writing on the back of the piece(see the e-Bay photo) that probably indicates either the maker or the person for whom the piece was made. From what we can see it is signed M. Hall, Hannibal, MO. The details on this Secretary are absolutely wonderful! ... moreThis beautiful Secretary is constructed of mahogany. And flame mahogany over a secondary wood and the details are exquisite! The bookcase top is graced with a beautiful open arch top with a lovely center foliate carved pedestal that is surrounded on each side with elegant applied scroll land leaf adornments. The bookcase top doors have wavy glass that appears to be original. And three adjustable shelves. The doors have arched tops with picture frame moulding around the original glass and carved foliate escutcheons. The right door has an intact lock and a decorative(non-working) key is included to assist in opening the doors. Also. You will note that there is a small, insignificant scratch on glass in the lower corner of the right door which in no way impacts the beauty or integrity of the original wavy glass. The bottom slant front desk door of the Secretary is graced with luscious flame mahogany veneer, has a fancy brass key escutcheon along with an intact lock with working key. Click Here. Double your traffic. Get Vendio Gallery- Now FREE! I am so proud to have to offer for sale this Superior Solid Walnut Early Victorian Secretary/Desk with Bookcase Top circa 1860's. This fabulous secretary features a bonnet style top with a high arched center and applied carvings. The bookcase offers three shelves behind two original glass panel doors with lock and key that work. The desk portion is unique in that part of the desk folds out and the other part folds down forming the writing surface and reveling the inside cubbies and drawers. I believe the original velvet in on the writing surface showing the wear of many many years of use. The desk lock works with the same key as the bookcase. Under the writing surface is a large pullout drawer flanked on either side by beautiful cabriole shaped legs with acanthus carved leaves ... moreand roses on the knees,the bottom of the leg has a carved scroll design that rest on a fluted half bun foot. The back legs are also beautifully turned. This secretary measures 92 inches high, 42 inches wide, the bookcase depth is 10 3/4 inches and the depth of the desk closed is 21 inches. The knee-hole height is 23 inches, the writing surface open is 42 inches wide and 20 inches deep. The bookcase shelves are 9 inches deep. This secretary is in excellent condition with a repair to the drop down portion of the desk(see photo)this repair seems to be very sturdy and not an issue. This is truly a fine representation of early victorian furniture, would make a grand statement in any room and be a beautiful addition to any home. Victorian 1890 Antique Cylinder Roll Top Desk& Bookcase. This 1890's Victorian secretary desk with a cylinder or barrel roll top has a bookcase above. The crest is removable. Solid walnut with burl panels. The lustrous finish is in excellent condition. The roll top is matched burl, it has a long dent across the center, see photos. Inside is a pull out writing surface with a"brand" mark in the saddle leather. There are small cubicles and drawers for papers. The removable bookcase upper section has original wavy glass in the doors. Shelves adjust on wooden supports and the lock and key still work.
