I don’t see a maker’s mark, but this is ... morehigh quality company. It has four sections that are all slatted oak. Each bookcase section is 14 inches wide, 8 inches deep, 12 inches high on the bottom, 10 inches high on the other 3 levels. The overall height of the bookcase is 58 inches. The finish is very nice and it will hold many books. The only thing I see wrong with it is that there are lamination seams on the top came apart a bit, but is structurally sound. It revolves on a metal base. Shipping starts at $285 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges, which could add on especially if you're on the West Coast.

Knob width at the TOP DIAMETER is 1 3/16" TOTAL KNOB HEIGHT is 7/8" BASE WIDTH IS 1/2" These are the correct size and profile for the drawer bases for Globe Wernicke® and Macey stack units(although they work great for Gunn, Lundstrum, Weis, Danner and others as well) There were at least 8 different styles of knobs. This style was the most prominent and the best made of the 4 cast versions. It is made of polished brass and then aged to match your original knobs. The aging and burnish process takes a 5 step process and can be hazardous to perform. The aging/burnishing is done at essentially cost. See our ad for Aging Solution. Made of quartersawn oak. These barrister bookcase parts include a top, base, and two side pieces. The condition is very good with a bit of thinning of the veneer on the left side of the top. This should be visible in the second picture. We have, also, photographed the top sitting on the base so that you can see they are compatible. This was, probably, Globe Wernicke, however, there is no label to confirm that. The top is 34" wide and 12" deep. The base is 34" wide 12 1/2 inches deep and 6 3/4 inches high. The side pieces each measure 12 3/16" wide X 15 1/16 high.

For auction is one vintage 2-tier Steelcase lawyers bookcase. It features two identical sections with retractable glass doors and the top cap with the Steelcase logo. But does not have a base. A base would need to be made for it, but even a simple, rectangular wood base(painted or stained) would do. It would also be ideal for adding sections to an existing stack. It is painted a silvery gray color and has light marks and scratches common to age and use. ULTRA RARE GLOBE WERNICKE DESK WITH BOOKCASE AND DRAWER BASE IN SOLID QUARTERED OAK AND EXCEPTIONAL ORIGINAL CONDITION With the highest compliments we could possibly pay to any piece we are thrilled to offer you one of two hundred ever made by the Globe Wernicke Company slant lid desk with a model D-12 1/4" bookcase mid section and matched Globe Wernicke drawer base. Only a small handful of these ever survived. This model was owned by the Bethlehem Steel Company and used as a then start of the art portable office for various clerical employees duties when their jobs required their moving around the massive plants' building and grounds. The entire desk is in a mint model 299 original finish. Please excuse the shade on the piece in our pictures. The shadows cast by the shade did not appear so pronounced in the camera's picture ... morereview. In ingenuity of this desk's design by Globe Wernicke is in its portability. The front French flared legs are fastened by two braces on each side. They come right off and the desk breaks down into three pieces for ease of move. This is absolutely the only one of these we have ever seen much less sold. The last one even close that has surfaced was in England and in birch with a glaringly average refinishing job. Virtually the only place you can see this desk is in the old Globe Wernicke product catalogs. Undoubtedly& hopefully some made it to the caring hands of true Globe Wernicke products collectors and this model in fantastic original finish and this isn't the only one surviving. A very fine antique. Circa 1880's, simple Eastlake style solid walnut two door bookcase over two drawer base. One piece construction. There are four walnut fronted maple adjustable shelves, the interior back boards also of maple. The panels on the two drawers, and the cornice panel, are burl walnut veneer. The doors retain the original wavy glass panels, and the lock. The drawers have their locks and original hardware. The sides of the walnut case are recessed panels. It is on iron casters. The furniture measures 81" tall by 45-1/2" wide by 16-1/2" the shelves 10-1/2 deep. Excellent condition: original finish, walnut boards without chip or cracks, burl veneer complete. Both glass panels without damage.

Antique Revolving Wood Bookcase, Early 1900's Eastlake Style Base, Handmade?
Hi. This is a lovely little revolving bookcase. It's a red pine with 3 grooved pine strips on each side. Base is made with an East-lake style design decoration. I would guess circa to be early 1900's. The top has a more brownish color to it which accents the piece. I am selling as found from an estate sale. It stands approx 29 inches high from top to floor with the top measuring 16 x 15 3/4 inches and 11 1/2 across the bottom of the base. Two shelves for books or display measuring 7 3/4 inch high on the top one and 10 1/2 high on the bottom shelf. Revolving motion is smooth and sturdy.
