The piece also features a beautiful parquetry inlay around the base of the molding, of alternating dark and light tones, but there are quite a few of these tiny pieces missing.

A large rectangular mirror on the single cabinet door, and exquisite paneled accent carvings on either side of the mirror. The bevelled edge mirror is very clean almost suggesting that is has been replaced but I found no evidence to support that it is not the original. The cabinet door has an ornate solid drop pull and the drawer has two large decorative bail pulls. The skirt is arched on the side of the piece and there are scalloped brackets on the front. The interior is paneled and has two mounted hooks and 6 sliding hooks on the hanging bar. A very nice piece in remarkable condition for the age(circa 1890) this armoire is certain to become a cherished heirloom. Condition: It has some age appropriate signs of wear including scratches. Victorian Mohogany Armoire - Wardrobe - chest of drawers. Brooklyn, NY
Lovely to look at and very functional! A similar one can be seen on Downton Abbey! PBS Closets. Storage space, in a beautiful package that is this Armoir. It comes apart for easy moving. She travels well. And goes back together very easily. She has two hanging sections on either side. A laundry box in the bottom of the right side, I have always used it for shoes! The middle section behind the mirror has a chest of drawers with 3 drawers with a"linen press" above(pull out shelves) I have all the shelves. But I have more recently used it as a TV place in my bedroom. She is in great Antique condition. The only missing parts are the door knobs! that have always been missing since I bought her, I never found knobs I liked and got used to her without the knobs. I also had the mirror door hinges changed, the wieght of the mirror had put ... moretoo much strain on the original, so they were replaced with a piano hinge, to spread out the stress! Otherwise she has all her original hardware, hooks, drawer pulls etc. The Measurements: 90" wide at the widest crown top. 85" wide at the base. 82" tall. 20" deep for the two side hanging sections. The middle section is 25.5" deep. The centre mirrored door swings out 32" For moving she comes apart into 5 easy pieces. So stairs, doorways, tight corners are not an issue. Victorian Era Mahogany Wardrobe Armoire Single Door
This beautiful and versatile piece looks fabulous in any room. Adds instant history and interest. It has been has been well used in numerous rooms since 1987 when we acquired it in Texas. It is very old, not sure of exact age, but American and I believe circa 1900. I currently use it as a wrapping center, something not accessed every day. This piece can be used as is, but should be treated gently. I'm sure this piece could be strengthened and restored to make it sturdier. This piece consists of 3 pieces- top cornice, main cabinet and base with nice sized drawer for linens etc. Condition: Fair. There are broken trim ornaments and the door does not close correctly. But does close. The bottom left side panel is split, but has been for years and has made several moves. Absolutely stunning reproduction Hunter's cabinet. Made of Blonde Mahogany with detailed carving(see pictures) and claw feet. Just shy of 8 feet in height by four foot in length and 2 foot in width. This is a magnificent piece. Please look at all of the pictures to see the hand carving and detailed workmanship. Truly a work of art, it would bring any room to life with stunning elegance. This is a walnut victorian armoire signed by Joseph B. Hubbard New Orleans. The armoire is circa 1880. The armoire is in as found condition. The finish is good and I would not refinish it. It has been stored for 20+ years. All I did was oil it. The armoire breaks down for easy moving. This armoire has no screws holding it together. It is held together with slotted panels and crown wedges. The only screws are the two that hold the top pediment on. It is all original except for the door locks and the one small interior shelf. The lock has been replaced with a key and the small shelf is not original. The armoire is an impressive size. It measures 97 3/4" tall with the pediment attached. 90 1/2" tall without the pediment, 65 1/4" wide and 23" deep at the crown, and 57" wide and 23" deep at the base. The base has ... more2 drawers. Much like the style of Eastlake, purchased through the estate auction of an old Charleston family member, so I'm not sure if it is American made or perhaps English. It is certainly late 19th century to early 20th century solid oak(primary and secondary) with lovely carvings and dentition across the top, a large clear beveled dressing mirror, dovetailed drawers, original old hardware and an incredible amount of storage space within a solid wood cabinet that's made to travel in separate smaller components(base, closet, bonnet) so it could be easily maneuvered through the traditionally smaller hallways and stairwells of those now antique homes. This wonderful large functional wardrobe stands 87 inches tall by 53 inches wide by 21 inches front to back. Offering ... morean amazing amount of storage in a gorgeous quartersawn oak cabinet. This terrific Victorian wardrobe has 3 large sliding shelves and 3 nice deep drawers on one side with open closet space on the opposing side, still equipped with cloak hooks affixed to the walls as well as a hanging rod across it's width, added later. If the new owner desired, the open cabinet space for hanging clothes can of course be easily converted into any type storage you may need with the variety of storage system unit options available in most retail stores. Antique Victorian Armoire Knockdown Wardrobe Extra Closet Gun Safe
Spectacular original knockdown wardrobe from 120+ years ago. Original finish; well cared for since new. 48" wide; you can use it as a closet for that room that has none. 87" tall including top cornice piece- make sure it will fit before bidding! Completely disassembles with no tools- top. Middle, and base all are held together with sliding wood clamps that cleverly attach the sections. This has been in the same family since new. It was last used as a gun safe judging by the racks on the left side. Both doors lock. Beautiful oak grain with no damage anywhere. No makers mark; just the number 31 stamped on a number of pieces. No wood damage or repairs. No rot. This is an absolutely fabulous antique one piece Victorian four door mahogany closet or wardrobe. With original cloak hooks and campaign drawers and carved decorative finial. Currently having several shelf papered covered shelves someone added to increase storage space, a new owner could have additional or shelves more appropriate to the age of the piece made if desired or it could simply be used for that always needed extra space to hang multiple jackets and store books, gloves, scarves and sporting equipment within a stylish yet functional old Victorian wardrobe, most recently imported from the UK through Edinburgh, Scotland. This terrific four door closet stands 86 1/2 inches tall and measures 67 1/2 inches wide by 17 inches deep. Front to back. There are a total of three brass cloak hooks around the wall in each end closet as well a three ... moreprong hook in the center plus four along the wall and two more 3 prong hook's in the large center closet, with hooks for a total of 22 coats, jackets or scarves. The two end closets are each 15 inches wide and 14 inches front to back with 58 inches clearance above the large campaign drawers in the bottom of each closet. Up for sale is a turn of the century American made antique armoire/ wardrobe. Armoire is in pretty good overall condition and can be used the way it is. Needs a little refurbishment to be in perfect shape. Everything is missing from the inside except the lock. Which is missing the key. There are places where pieces of the veneer has come off. Armoire was originally built using tongue and groove and the back was held on with wood dowels. The dowels are missing and the back has been nailed on. The hinges have been replaced. Here is an absolutely beautiful looking Victorian style oak armoire being sold as is as seen in photos. Sorry for photos since it's on my truck.It was sold by a well known furniture store in Eugene Oregon called Rubenstein's Home Collection. I still have the original paperwork and price tag that shows the retail price paid was $2.100.00. No doubt it probably costs even more to replace this now. Large Victorian Solid WALNUT Armoire
Fabulous solid Walnut Victorian Armoire. Nice condition considering age. Has has repairs to top skirt. Missing 2 top skirt trim pcs but hard to notice. Breaks down for transport. I got this whole thing into a Land Rover Discovery as a reference. Measures 9 feet tall. 57 inches wide, 20 inches deep. Inner openings match side to side and are 27 inches wide, 59 inches tall and there is a 10 inch tall shelf above. Unit is on casters. Pc is Solid Walnut with the exception of the back and inner dividers. They are in Pine. Great tombstone style decoration on doors. Hand carved upper crest. Shipping is on the buyer.
