Very rare to have the key along with the case! The trunk does have some wear throughout but overall is in wonderful vintage condition. The canvas shows wear mostly on the sides and a bit on the top of the case. The rivets all say Louis Vuitton. Corners on top were painted with yellow. Along with initials G.C.C. on each end. Antique Vintage Large 18" Round Black Suitcase, Luggage, Brown Trim, Train Case
Up for sale is an old rounded black and brown suitcase. It is 18" wide. 17" tall and 9" deep. It has a handle on the top and a snap lock, with other hinges on the sides. I do not have a key to actually lock the case, but you can open and close the snap closure. The inside is a blue pattern cloth and it does have some stains. The outside has some scratches and dings, and the brown trim is a little rough. It is still structurally sound and has a great look. Authentic Goyard Steamer Trunk Beautiful Vintage Trunk Has Initials C. R. H. on two sides of the trunk in red paint Evidence of travel is shown with some of the preexisting travel labels on sides The brass hardware shows tarnishing as seen in original patina The interior of the trunk originally had shelves and hangers. Unfortunately those are no longer with the case Normal wear and tear throughout. Please see the mark on the leather edge The lock was at some point opened without a key. Latch still closes but does have signs of it's forced entry. A vintage Belber wardrobe trunk. It measures approximately 39.5" tall. 23" wide, and 22" deep. Much of the interior is still intact. The last patent date on the tag is in 1921. The condition is very good overall. There is overall surface wear commensurate with age and use, including some dings and scratches as they are found commonly on antique luggage. A bit of fading to the portion of the blue interior which is exposed. The structural integrity is good and there are no major problems. We do not have the key.
