This auction is for a neat Two(2) Tier Tea Cart or Tea Trolley from England. The shelves. Frame and braces are all Solid Oak, only the"slide out" shelves on end are Oak veneer. The top& bottom shelf are bordered on all sides and each shelf also has a beveled edge. The legs eack have a beveled cut to each outside corner, see pictures below. It is in overall good condition and has nice eye appeal. It still rolls around well and all four wheels are still with it. It's 24 1/4" X 15 1/4" and about 28 7/8" tall overall. The shelves are attached to the fame with the old"flathead" screws, which is a real sign of quality& pride from the maker. The base even has a"stretcher" across the bottom connecting the legs like older buffets& sideboards. Both the top shelf and bottom shelf are bordered on three sides with one side left open to slide things in and out more easily. The frame, legs and shelf edges are all"fluted" These also can be used as a printer table for your computer printer with storage below for your paper. They also make great TV stands for the newer flat panel TV's with the bottom shelf used to hold your cable box, DVD ... moreplarer or gaming system. It is in overall good condition and has very nice eye appeal. It still rolls around well and all four wheels are still with it. It's 24 1/8" X 15" and about 31 3/8" tall overall. It's about 13" between the shelves and the bottom shelf is about 15 3/4" off the floor. It has a medium dark brown Mahogany Patina to it. It's a little darker in real life than what the pictures show. Each side being lined along the outside rim with gold leaf and fruit design. Very mid century looking. This has been used and still very beautiful. It is about 24" x 27" with the leaves up or if they are down its more like 24" x 14" and of course either way it's 27" tall. The two wheels are about 12" across. I am not sure of the maker of t his but the owner had other pieces from Mersman and it does have the number 5604 engraved into it on the bottom of one of the leaves. It is in very good condition with some normal signs of use but otherwise over all nice vintage condition. The removale tray is 26 3/4" X 15 1/5" and is bordered on all four sides. It has a dark blonde Mahogany Patina to it. It's a little darker in real life than what the pictures show, it looks almost like honey oak. It has some blemishes to the finish(light or dark spots or marks) nicks, dings& scratches to the top as well on the legs, braces and stretchers from normal use over the years. It has a spot where it looks like someone set a very hot pan or pot on it, but as you can also see, the placement of the lamp eliminated that problem. Most of the times placing a picture or vase or lamp will really help hide any blemishes on most items. For it's age and travels it's in overall good condition and ready to set out and use and enjoy.

Antique American Walnut Tea Cart Trolley, Georgian Style
For Local Pickup Only. This is an old tea cart. Made of solid walnut(it could also be mahogany, but it looks like walnut to me) I do not see any veneered sections- even the lowermost shelf board appears to be a solid piece of walnut, and a thick one at that. It has two drop leaves and fairly delicated wood turnings for the legs. The rubber wheel bands are solid, albeit with some minor cracking. Finish on the surfaces is very good, with only some minor scratches and what appears to be a bit of sun fade where the top may have had a cloth runner on it(see images) Spoked wheels easily remove via the mechanism on the bottom. On wheels. hand painted and signed by katherine Henick. it has 2 sides that drop down. all 3 sections on top are painted, as well as the bottom shelf. there is also a double handled wood framed glass serving tray. There is also a drawer on one end. i'm not sure how old it is so will guess about 1940's to 1950's. I have not polished or shined it up so i'm sure it could look fantastic after a polishing.
