These areas are on the right side edge of the top at the back on both the right and left sides, and one small area on the bottom drawer front next to the front leg. The dresser has a beautifully curved front design similar to a bombe style. The chest of drawers has reeded accents running down both sides at the front that continues onto all four feet, which are straight and tapering. Awsome large dresser. Measures 34"wide 48"tall 18" deep. Guessing is from 40s or 50s when cowboys were the heros! Rare piece would be great in kids room with cowboy theme. We refinished it years ago but now our little cowboy has moved on to star wars. In last photo you can see in bottom corner we used wood filler and never matched up the stain.
