I purchased this bookcase in July of 1992 from the SCIOTO RIVER ANTIQUES store in Mt. Victory. Ohio for $525, and I have the original sales slip and the receipt from my credit card as provenance. I am selling it because I am now retiring to the Philippines, and it is too expensive to ship it. The bookcase is circa 1920's.

Very nice looking all original early 1900's Macey 3 stack barristers bookcase. This one is in very good condition with all original wavy glass and great looking tiger oak. Dimensions are 57H X 34W X 14 D. A few minor imperfections such as the hole thru the back of one of the units.It won't be noticeable when you put books in in though and a small chip of wood missing out of the corner of the bottom unit. An antique bookcase of solid wood. Likely oak. 5 shelves including the base. The shelves can be removed and adjusted up and down. Total height- about 62.5 inches. Including decorative carved piece on top Width- about 39.5 inches Shelf depth- just under 10 inches There's a water ring on the top. And one of the pieces on the back can be shifted back and forth a little. It's sturdy and can hold a lot of weight(see picture) but it can be tilted back and forth on its base a little. This specimen post dates the Mission Oak American furniture movement which came about a decade later. This has the original William Morris English Arts& Crafts movement design. It is defined with three applied floral carved motifs on its top frieze and double stained. Leaded and textured glass doors. The case is made from very thick select cuts of solid tiger oak. It is in a very nice old well oxidized original finish. This finish takes on a reddish dark amber hew that is impossible to replicate. It is most desirable and absolutely critical with correct Arts& Crafts Furniture.
