It has 3 hidden compartments and lots of pigeon holes and small drawers. It comes with the keys for the upper hutch. The fold down desk and the small door inside but not the drawers below. It has the original glass, which is wavy and has bubbles in it, in both panels on the left side but not on the right side. One pane is missing on the right side but would be easy enough to replace. Lots of character on this gorgeous old piece. It measures 81 inches high, 47 inches wide and is 23-1/2 inches deep at the bottom. It comes apart in two pieces so the bottom part is 41-1/2 inches high, 47 wide and 23-1/2 deep and the top part is 39-1/2 inches high, 47 inches wide and 12 inches deep. I live in Santa Cruz but delivery is possible anywhere in the San Francisco or Monterey bay areas(or nearby) if you cover my expenses or we negotiate it into the selling price. Original bronze pulls. The shaped and beveled mirror plus columns with Corinthian capitals are exquisite on this American made furniture. Fine detailing and the concave front are delightful. The rich deep finish is in extremely fine condition on curly birch with a mahogany stain and a few shrinkage separations from age for antique character. Interiors are genuine birdseye or curly maple. The drop front lock doesn't work well. So the key is just a handle to open. Measurements of this historic desk are 27" wide. 19" deep, 66" tall and the desktop is 27" high when open. Up for sale is an antique Secretary/bookcase made by Liberty Co. Ltd of the U.K. All appears original with a possible exception of the hinges on the drop-down desk. The drawer pulls are hammered copper. Overall it is 36 inches wide. And about 51 1/2 inches tall. The secretary desk area is about 26 1/4 inches wide. The fold down desk supports are 10 inches in length and the drawer is about 21 by 13 inches. The name plate for Liberty Co Ltd is on the inside of the drawer at the front. I have no keys for the locks. This was made about 1900 and the style is late nouveau or early arts and crafts. All is in excellent condition. Please view the pictues.
