It stand 29-1/2” tall and the top surface measures 29” wide and 18” deep. The top drawer front is 4- wide and the opening below is 23” wide and 15” high. It is constructed of solid wood. No veneers. The hardware is brass. The shelf inside is an addition(easily removed if desired) otherwise it is all original. It has been refinished and the finish is in excellent condition. Beautiful Turn of the Century American Oak Dresser Up for your consideration: A wonderful example of fine artistry by American Furniture Makers. This beautiful dresser was purchased at an old estate auction and although a lot of items came from Germany. This belonged to a couple of sisters who moved here from Germany. I am pretty sure they probably purchased it here in America rather than bringing it with them. It does resemble typical American Oak Dressers of the time period- I would say somewhere in the neighborhood of the 1900-1920's. They were quite up in years and the dresser was quite old when they purchased it and I found an Old Catholic Confirmation Certificate(in English) dated 1910 rolled up with what appeared to be an old Marriage License(in German) The lovely Beveled Mirror is in Excellent condition for its age and is framed ... morein a the beautiful Victorian tradition. Beautiful Antique Washstand in a Late Victorian Style with 3 Drawers. 1 Cabinet, and Ornate Metal Pulls. The washstand is made of oak; almost a tiger style oak. Finished in a dark wood stain/tone. The top panel has serpentine front and sides, and the top drawer has a serpentine front. There are 2 additional pull-out drawers and a cabinet/cupboard below the top drawer. All metal pulls are original to the piece and are very ornate. Framed panels on both sides and on the backside. Some wear to the finish on top; previous owner used it as a sewing table/sewing storage. This is a well preserved washstand. Great to use now as a small chest or storage piece. UP FOR AUCTION Very Nice High Boy Dresser made of Oak. I do not believe hardware is original! Great shape dresser with both dovetailed front and back of drawers.Serpentine front, Claw feet and wooden casters. There is a small character flaw on bottom drawer that I think was a burn mark but not sure. Has nice cubby with Ornate carved door that has curved shape. The wooden back and top also are both in excellent shape! Is old and may have some scratches and flaws but overall is very nice and was refinished well. Casters all work good and easy!
