It is an unusual desk with drawers opening on both sides and one door on both sides. Each side has a center drawer, a right-hand drawer, and a right-hand door. The desk was refinished in the last 10 years or so and whoever it was did a wonderful job. The desk has dainty carved cabriole legs with brass fillagree on the elbows and castors. The drawers are all dove tail with brass ribbed knobs. The doors have locks, but there is no key. The desk is in wonderful condition apart from two small cracks on the solid oak top that has nothing to do with structure and you wouldn’t want to touch it. The overall size is 52 inches wide, 28 inches deep and 30 inches high.

Oak Partner's (Partners) Desk
This is an exquisite oak partner's desk. It has six drawers on each side. And two pull-outs at the top of each of the three drawers. There is very minor wear consistent with the desk's age. There are no offending scratches on the top. I am the second owner of the desk, and have never used it. It's been in storage for three years. I planned to have a protective glass cut for the desktop. I would recommend it to preserve the very fine surface. The dimensions are: 47-1/2" x-59-1/2" square and 30-1/2" tall. This is a very sturdy desk. It would make a perfect addition to a home office. Full size early 20th century quartersawn Oak Partners Desk. Good condition, nice old finish and patina. Three brass foot caps have gone missing as well as the center drawer on the junior partner's side. The junior partner side also has one draer handle with wood loss. We have seen this model with the center drawers removed and it makes for a very nice look if you desired that. Else we are looking at a true survivor from early Montana's glory railroad days that could complete that industrial form and function you were looking for. Huge- the top measures 60 1/4" by 46" 2 sided- each side has a set of 4 drawers on one pedestal side and the other a door with 4 cubbyholes and ... more2 large vertical compartments. Condition: Very good. Complete condition in need of finish refinishing and with 3 draws in need of minor repairs. The paneled side pedestal are very good, no loose joints or other structural problems. In our opinion the pedestal and drawer fronts could be lightly sanded and then varnished to suit your tastes- glossy or satin or flat finish. The top and writing slide out boards would likely need to be stripped or sanded and likely stained before finishing. All in all, not a very big restoration process. The 4" drawers on the door side both need to be repaired. The one has a large ink stain in the bottom of the drawer. One of the 4" long drawers has a loose bottom panel. On the drawer pedestal sections three of the drawers measure 4" deep x 12 1/2" wide by a whopping 23" long! The larger drawer is 9 7/8" deep x 12 1/2" wide and is also 23" long! The door pedestal sections each contain a set of 4 cubbyholes which measure 4" wide by 4 1/2" high by 14" deep. The divided vertical file compartments measure 15 1/4" high by 3 3/4" wide by 14" deep. Victorian/French Country Style Oak Partners' Desk
Price drastically reduced(I paid $3.200 in 2009) Victorian era double-sided carved oak partners' desk with burled walnut details and 2 deep drawers with one false center drawer on each side. Elegant impressive piece for conference, desk or dining. French-style cabriole legs are carved and each leg has ball-bearings to make movement easy across the floor. Top is brown leather. This table has some scars from its former life in a bank in Conn. but that adds to its French Country/Victorian charm. It seats 8 comfortably and looks amazing with wing-back chairs. It's equally beautiful with a tablecloth for Thanksgiving dinner or plain as a working surface in the office. I use large sheets, bolts of fabric or quilts as tablecloths.
