Globe Wernicke Quartersawn Oak Mission Stacking Barrister Bookcase Section
Antique Globe wernicke Barrister stacking unit. 34 inches wide. 11 inches deep. The section has no breals, splits or repairs. I=The section has all the door hardware and scissor mechanism ans opens with ease. The door has the original brass knob. The section also has the original antique wavy glass and bands around the base of the section. The back is in excellent condition with no rippling or warping of the wood. It fits with all globe D sizes and macey sections. Reaal nice dark quartersawn oak finish. No surprises. I would prefer local pick up but would look into shipping. Nice old lawyers bookcase from Globe Wernicke. 55 inches tall. 34 inches wide and 11 inches deep. Label says grade 898 1/4 oak mission finish. Almost looks fumed. Has light wear, and 2 knobs were replaced. The others are real nice heavy original pyramid knobs and the bookcase has a rare drawer in the base with original mission pulls. Really nice shape. All oak doors retain their original wavy glass, and square brass knobs. Original brass pulls to drawer. The barrister type bookcase measures 6'1" 73" tall by 2'10" 34-1/2" wide by 11" deep, each stack 12" tall. Paper labels to interior read: size D 10-1/4, grade 299-1/2. Excellent condition: original finish, quartersawn oak boards without chips or cracks. All glass panels are without damage. Brass knobs and drawer pulls with dark patina.

Antique Quarter Sawn Mission Oak Globe-Wernicke Barrister Stacking Bookcase
34" wide. 69" tall, 12" deep. Three 10" tall D-8 1/2 sections, Two 12" tall D- 10 1/4 sections base and top. This is a completley original barrister fully sanded and refinished. Original brass side straps and handles polished and clear coated so will not tarnish. All original wavy glass. Only flaw is a burn spot on top. I did not replace the veerner becuse wanted to keep the originial quarter sawn and can't see anyway due to height of bookcase. No shipping pick up only. Located 20 miles west of Kalamazoo Mi. Lovely pair of Art Mission Barristers. These were togther with same owner for last 35 years. They have age appropriate wear. All doors open easily and all 8 have the original antique wavy glass with all hardware inside the doors. One set of 4 has original wooden mission knobs. Very nice. Other set of four has different kind of knobs. Work well. Each section has label of Globe Wernicke with Grade 998 1/2 quartersawn Oak fumed brown finish. Very rare and beautiful finish. Backs are in good shape. Age appropriate wear. All sections signed with the wernicke label.
