Each section has interior measurements of 32" x 8" x 12" Doors are missing. The base is plain with square legs and no drawer. Each section has a label as shown that reads Globe Wernicke Sectional Bookcase Cincinnati Standard C-11 Unit Pattern 111 Grade 598 This has been used as an open bookcase in our home for years. The finish is original but not very good or consistent. We have not attempted to clean it up or polish it. The legs do not have brass caps on the bottom. Knob width at the TOP DIAMETER is 1 3/16" TOTAL KNOB HEIGHT is 7/8" BASE WIDTH IS 1/2" These are the correct size and profile for the drawer bases for Globe Wernicke® and Macey stack units(although they work great for Gunn, Lundstrum, Weis, Danner and others as well) There were at least 8 different styles of knobs. This style was the most prominent and the best made of the 4 cast versions. It is made of polished brass and then aged to match your original knobs. The aging and burnish process takes a 5 step process and can be hazardous to perform. The aging/burnishing is done at essentially cost. See our ad for Aging Solution. If you want the knobs polished it is an additional please see the other ad. Some have the 1905 patent date stamp and some do not. A couple have earlier square end. The other five have the ends with rounded edges. Price is for 1(one) scissor arm. Dimensions: 23" long. Condition: Some have minor bends that will easily flatten back straight. VERY dirty! I dug out all my scissor arms to list. Offered in this auction is a Globe Wernicke mahogony bookcase top. 3/4 size. There is no tag on the underside of this unit to tell us but we know from the four small tacks, this is where the label was, it has been torn off, but it does reveal its made by Globe Wernicke and its obvious that the wood is mahogony. This auction is for the top only, the base is in one photo but its only there for display purposes, the base will be offered in another auction. This top an the base being offered in another auction is definately a leg up on putting together a 3/4 size mahogony stacking bookcase. RARE 3/4 width(25" Globe-Wernicke top in solid Maple(style 598 1/2) In great shape considering it is 100+ years old. Original finish w/original tag. This is a size"D" depth top. Little dusty and could benefit from some light cleaning. There are scratches consistent with age and there appears to be some uneven aging to the stain on the top(as if there were books placed on the top and not moved for years. Exposing some of the top to sun and other parts not so much) You should be able to see this in the pictures. No water, mold damage. I also have the corresponding base for auction as well. This is an unusual size Globe Wernicke Stacking bookcase. In quarter sawn oak. It stands 51 1/4" tall, and only 25 1/2" wide, base is just a bit wider. It is 11 1/8" deep, and the base adds a bit more, to 12 1/2" deep. Shows some small scratches here and there, which I have tried to show in the pics. Old Globe Wernicke 3 Section Bookcase. Pick Up Only
This is an old Globe Wernicke three section bookcase. It is a craftsman piece.solid and sturdy. Unfortunately. Someone painted it. It is heavy and I believe the wood is mahogany. The Globe sticker remains affixed to one section. There are no splits or cracks to any of the pieces. The larger middle section is 36" high. 20" wide, and 10 1/2" deep with three shelves. The larger corner section is 36" high, 10 1/2" deep and wide with three shelves. The smaller corner section is 24" high, 10 1/2" wide and deep with two shelves. This is for local pick-up only. I would consider driving to meet the buyer if it's not a great distance!

This is a Globe-Wernicke Barrister Drop Front Bookcase with 3 sections. The catalog number is 809 and the finish is 3025 1/2. It is in fair to good condition with normal and expected wear and some blemishes to the finish. There is a large scratch on the middle section door where a nail had broken through the frame. Globe Wernicke 3 Stack Mahogany Book Case
This auction features a Globe Wernicke 3 Stack Bookcase finished in mahogany. There are three different size units with this bookcase. One 12" one 10" and one 8 1/2" This bookcase appears to have its original finish, the contrast between the interior maple color an the dark mahogany is really eye catching. I have tried to capture all angles, including the rear, all these photos to show the condition. The glass all appears to also be original. One more neat feature of this unit is the drawer in the base, somewhat unusual, definitely a huge plus. This bookcase will require four oversize boxes in order to ship this unit safely. Very rare Globe Wernicke 3/4 size barrister bookcase. This is original. Not cut down. Approximately 25 1/2" wide. Stands about 43 1/2" tall. 5 pieces. Top, bottom, 2) 8 1/2" sections, and(1) 10 1/4" section. Grade 299. D size. Original quartersawn white oak. Original wavy glass. Early label makes this a pre-1922 bookcase. In very nice condition. Top may have slight touchup, but great, beautiful condition. Extemely hard to find.

A very fine antique. Circa 1900, Globe-Wernicke dark mahogany stained maple three stack bookcase with top cap and bottom drawer. Doors lift up and glide back, original wavy glass panels. Doors and drawer with all brass knobs. Bookcase measures 47" tall by 34" wide by 11" deep, the shelves 8" deep. The two lower stacks are labeled: size C11, grade: 398. Excellent condition: original finish, interiors maple stained, no chips or cracks to boards. All wavy glass panels without damage. Up for auction is an Original Globe Wernicke Barrister Bookcase door with knob. Original scissor door mechanism, original door tracts, and original door roller assembly. Everything listed was off of a Globe Wernicke Sectional Bookcase C-11 Unit; Pattern 111- Grade 198. According to the Globe-Wernicke USA website the grade of 198 is a plain oak with an antique, medium-dark gloss finish with copper oxidized hardware. The glass appears to be original as it is wavy with air bubbles/flaws. There are two small scratches in the front right corner glass which can be seen in the photographs.
