I don’t see a maker’s mark, but this is ... morehigh quality company. It has four sections that are all slatted oak. Each bookcase section is 14 inches wide, 8 inches deep, 12 inches high on the bottom, 10 inches high on the other 3 levels. The overall height of the bookcase is 58 inches. The finish is very nice and it will hold many books. The only thing I see wrong with it is that there are lamination seams on the top came apart a bit, but is structurally sound. It revolves on a metal base. Shipping starts at $285 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges, which could add on especially if you're on the West Coast.

Rare form carved quartered oak barrister bookcase with desk leaded glass-14489
This is a great carved quartered oak barrister bookcase. Sometimes called a lawyers bookcase or stacking bookcase. This outstanding stacking desk bookcase is one of the nicest we have ever seen. It has leaded glass windows in the top two sections below the molded top. The carved fall board has a key that opens or locks the desk section. Inside are two strong desk lid supports and a nice set of pigeon holes with a single pencil drawer-fitted interior. The desk section sits above two full width drawers. The top drawer is shaped to fit the curve. The second drawer is carved to accent the fall board. Both drawers have original brass handles. The lowest section is an extra tall one with a"blind" door or wood paneled door to prevent breakage from feet. The entire piece sits on a molded base section. Quartersawn oak is showcased through ... morethe entire piece which is in excellent condition. I believe this case was made by the Viking Company. Overall dimensions are 34 wide, 15 deep, and 69 high. Although we have sold hundreds of interesting barrister bookcases over the years, we have never seen this model before. Iron grillwork and stained glass doors, all entirely original and dating from about 1915. Masterfully hand carved details include heads. Griffins, a painter's palette and a compass, symbols of knowledge and culture. The original finish is extremely well preserved on walnut wood with very minor mars at the edges. Waxed and polished. This beautiful antique cabinet has been in my family for many years. It is solid chestnut wood with glass shelves. An exquisite piece. We are moving and cannot take it with us. The cabinet is in Montague. New Jersey(Sussex County) and would have to be picked up by buyer. The wood finish is smooth and rather matte. No glossy finish on this piece. I am offering this for local pick up only and would prefer to only accept cash for this transaction. I have accepted paypal on a local pick up before and then the buyer claimed he never received the item. Since there was no way for me to prove that he actually did receive the item in person. This auction is for a neat medium size Dark Honey Oak wall mounted bookshelf or book case from France. This is a neat older bookshelf. It is made out of Solid Oak with a soloid oak plank back. The top is what is called"spoon carved" and each side of the front has pretty fluting cut into each plank. The shelves are fixed in place and do not adjust. This would make a wonder ful over a tanle in an entry as well as in your family room or country kitchen. It would also go well in your bathroom for lot's and lots of additional storage and display area. It's quite old but still sturdy and ready to use. It's a real neat size that would fit into any room of your home and provide you with lots of space to store and display your"pretties" on. It it 31 3/4" wide X 7 7/8" deep and 30 1/8" tall overall.
