I don’t see a maker’s mark, but this is ... morehigh quality company. It has four sections that are all slatted oak. Each bookcase section is 14 inches wide, 8 inches deep, 12 inches high on the bottom, 10 inches high on the other 3 levels. The overall height of the bookcase is 58 inches. The finish is very nice and it will hold many books. The only thing I see wrong with it is that there are lamination seams on the top came apart a bit, but is structurally sound. It revolves on a metal base. Shipping starts at $285 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges, which could add on especially if you're on the West Coast.

A good. What I believe is a GLOBE WERNICKE 4 sectional Oak stacking BARRISTER BOOKCASE. In fair CONDITION. I received this note from a viewer: This is an early stack of the Globe Wernicke Company as evidenced by the locking tab on the top.The style of side bands, the early non recessed sides on the top itself. And the closure mechanism. So it IS a GLOBE WERNICKE not a possible one. It is also in the D series line. Most likely a 198 series. I purchased it in 1995 and used it to safely house my rare book collection for almost 20 years. I believe it was refinished before I purchased it. Not the best job done… the refinisher got some glue on the glass of one of the 10” and the 14” unit. I believe it could be razor bladed off. but it never bothered me for what i was using it for. Ideal if you already have one of these bookcase. And want to add ... moremore units. I have seen individual units like these on eBay for $100-150. so, this is a bargin. I am moving and need to find it a good home. But I can always store it until I find the right price. Comes easily apart for a total of 5 pieces. Exterior. 34" wide. 11” deep. 50.75” tall Inside 32” wide. 9.5” depth 2 at 8.25" inside height units with working glass cover. Early Antique Oak Macy sectional stacking Bookcase 4 sections w/ drawer NICE- In fair to good CONDITION- the top has some stains and a little splitting of the wood but not that bad- normal for a bookcase of this type and age-all the glass is good- it is 60" tall. 12" deep. 34" wide-the sections are- the top is 13 1/2" tall, the second from the top is 9 1/2" the bottom sections(2)are the same 11 1/2" there are 4 sections to this item- all the sections can be moved around they do not have to stay in this order- it is marked"Quarter Red Oak Golden" as seen in the pictures provided- also the top- and the bottom drawer- are also sectional and do come apart- it has the old Metal side bands- Original brass door pulls- original varnish as far as I can tell- real rick deep oak- Ideal if you already ... morehave one of these bookcase, and want to add more units. This is a wonderful old bookcase. It can be one to four separate shelves with the top and piece bottom apron drawer separate pieces to make what ever shelf count you use be complete. We purchased it from an antique dealer in Leesburg Virginia in 1979. We down sized from a very large home to a retirement community. We tried to work it in but sadly. Just do not have room for it. The following is the appraisal we had done a few years ago. Appraiser's description: An American oak sectional bookcase by Lundstrom Manufacturing. Little Falls, NY, the moulded cornice above four shelf modules and an apron drawer on square feet. Measurements: Height: 48 inches. Width: 33 inches, Depth: 10 inches Date: Early 20th century. Globe Wernicke Barrister(Elastic) Bookcase. It also has the top and base piece. Everything is functional and it is a great piece and in great condition except a few minor things- see below for more details. Cosmetically it shows some surface wear and markings from previous use, age and ownership. All the glass is solid. I pictured areas that I thought were the most relevant and did the best I could to provide you an accurate description. Every piece has a stamp or paper label with the same identifying details. B) 1st Level Bookcase- Makers Mark is Stamped- Brass Tone Knob* Top rail that reads"do not lift by" is loose and has damage to inside wall. Where a piece of wood from the wall came with it. This same wall has the beginning of a split. Which is slightly noticeable from the outside. The glass panels have dowel rods that allow the windows to slide up and down. Each side for the dowel rods is split and missing some wood. Still functions properly. I am not going to further mess with it but it could be repaired if you prefer but not necessary. Has the exact same finish number as everything else but appears slightly darker- mostly from the side. Looks good from the front. C) 2nd Level Bookcase- Makers Mark is Stamped- Brass Tone Knob* Missing one side of trim behind the glass door on the right side.
