I purchase public storage vaults at auction. High bid will get this 1900's Antique Yale& Towne Steamer Trunk Chest w/ Wood Brass. Measures 36" Long 22 1/2" Deep and 23 3/4" Tall. Has rollers on bottom. The shipping sticker shown in picture#9 is on bottom of trunk. I prefer local pickups and CASH when doing so, but i will put on a pallet for freight company to pickup. Antique Steamer Trunk Flat Top 1890's to 1920's Yale & Towne B54 Vintage Locker
Antique Flat- Top Steamer Trunk Size: 31" x 17" x 13-1/4" All corners. Trim pieces, latches, hinges, fasteners are intact Missing the right side leather handle. And there is no insert/tray There is no key for the lock. Lock information: YALE& TOWNE Mfg. Co, Stamford, Conn, USA# B54- lock is circa 1890's to 1920's- I am not sure of the material of the trunk. It appears to be a wood/fiber type material with all corners& trim being brass or metal. This trunk needs some major TLC, but could be beautiful once restored; the starting price reflects this. THE YALE AND TOWNE LOCK DOES WORK AND IS FUNCTIONAL.THE BRASS LOCK HAS GREAT WEIGHT AND FEEL AND LOOK. THE TRUNK LOCKS UP VERY SECURE LIKE FORT KNOX. I HAVE A FULLY FUNCTIONING KEY THAT IS NOT THE ORIGINAL KEY BUT WAS MADE BY A LOCKSMITH TO WORK. THE KEY DOES WORK BUT YOU DO HAVE TO WIGGLE AND SLIDE IN AND OUT A BIT TO UNLOCK. I DONT KEEP THE TRUNK FULLY LOCKED IN THE HOUSE FOR EASY ACCESS TO OPEN IF I NEED STUFF OUT. BUT IF I WAS GOING AWAY AND THREW A FEW VALUABLES

1900's Antique Yale & Towne Steamer Trunk Chest Wood Leather Brass
This is a great antique trunk that at one time was used by Lumpee& Russ Harness Makers; I cannot make out the rest of the wording. The trunk is structurally solid. The valet tray has two holes but this could be nicely refinished. The top tray has two sections with one that does have the leather/button loop closure intact. There is no key in the locking mechanism that was made by Yale Towne MFG out of Stamford. Conn. It weighs just under 55 pounds. This is being sold as is. If you live on the I-5 corridor on the west coast(Washington, Oregon and California) I have a shipper. You will have to find a way to transport this and I suggest using uship.com- I have had good results with them. It measures 35" x 20.5" x 22.7" high)

1900's Antique Yale& Towne Steamer Trunk Chest With Wood Brass-Pick-Up Only. This chest is from the early 1900s and belonged to my Grandmother. It is marked Yale& Towne. Stanford, Connecticut, on the lock plate. Nice condition for its age. There is some wear on the handles, exterior, and interior tray. No key, but very usable since it latches. I believe the latch will lock, but untested due to lack of key. See Photos. Any questions, please write.
