Purchased from a local estate sale. This is a unique and rare wooden infant's high chair. Wood finish is turning into a nice patina with primitive wear marks from lots of loving use! Back of chair has a tole/ toleware style or Hitchcock style painted decoration, and appears to be from the 1930's-50's. Very old piece in nice shape for its age! Because the local estate this came from is located so close to Lancaster. PA, I do believe that is the likely origin of this old piece. The tole style painted portion looks very PA Dutch, which is another indication that it is in fact from that area, and may be an Amish or Mennonite piece. Local antiques that come from Lancaster County are either items owend by the Amish and Mennonite communities, or they were items made by Amish and Mennonite craftsmen. However I have no way of knowing for sure where this came from because Amish and Mennonite craftsmen do not sign their work a

Antique Glascock’s Combined Baby Jumper & Rocking Chair Swing Early 1900
Glascock’s Combined Baby Jumper& Rocking Chair. This Baby Jumper/ Rocking Chair was made by the Glascock Brothers manufacturing company in Muncie. Indiana. I don’t know when this was made but I found some old ads that were from 1899 to 1906 so I think this is very old. There are some damaged parts on this Baby Jumper/ Rocking Chair. One of the vertical wood stand poles was broken and glued back together. The rocking chair has a crack in one of the wood pieces were it connects to the bottom rocker rail. The chair is also damaged were it connects to the top pole. There are some pictures of this damage. This is missing a wing nut for the adjustable backrest. This is also missing 2 springs. The backrest and footrest are connected and move together and work well. This may have been refinished at some time because the finish looks too good ... morefor being about 113 years old. Antique Baby High Chair Spindle Back
Sweet old baby chair looking to be adopted: Structurally in good shape with only two minor problems on the curved wood(see last pictures) It is pretty early 1900s and in proper shabby chic style has been naturally distressed by previous owners that probably put a couple of coats of paint on it to freshen it up. It is oak and most of the paint has come off but. You can see a green coat was applied, then a white coat and then a yellow coat. So, this chair was loved and used by. It says Baby's Own on the footrest and the seat is stenciled to look like caning. The stenciling is in very good vintage condition as it the rest of the high chair. Vintage Antique Baby Butler Child's Folding Chair Kid's Chair
Baby Butler child's folding chair that is circa 1950s. It is made by Guild Industries. Brooklyn, N.Y. The red back and seat appear to be made of wood and the frame is aluminum. It stands about 21 inches high, 12 inches wide, and 13 inches deep. The seat is about 11 1/2 inches square. The chair does show sign of use. There are scratches, a chip out of the edge of the seat, marks on the metal. Two of the rubber tips on the legs are missing and the other two have duct tape around them. Very neat item though. Antique Baby High Chair that Converts to Stroller (40" Tall) with Flip-Up Tray
Up for auction is this antique high chair that coverts into a stroller. As a high chair it measures just under 40" tall. I believe it's almost all original. I am pretty sure the seat was caned and the vinyl was added to the tray. All wood construction except the 4 metal wheels. It's seems to be in great shape for it's age. The tray lifts up smoothly and converting the chair to stroller and back again works great. There is scuffing and wear marks on the tray arms but there does not appear to be any cracks. Splits or breaks anywhere. Aside from a little dust it's a beautiful piece. It was never stored in a barn, garage, basement or other damp environment. This item comes from a pet and smoke-free home. 1930's Wooden Baby Child's High Chair Antique
Antique 1930s High Chair(baby/toddler) This is a beautifully simple design. With only some carved lines with wood stain in them to adorn the otherwise plain wooden chair. There is an adjustable foot rest for baby or toddler. It is in very good condition: sturdy, strong, and intact, but with some obvious agewear, such as scratching and gouging to the wood and the tray that appears to be pieces missing from the arm rests. The scratches are not so plentiful that the surface of the chair is not smooth. In fact, the chair is largely in excellent condition. One would never suspect it to be an antique if not for one thing.what secures baby? Unlike high chairs of today, there are no security features to keep your little one from getting so excited she kicks very hard and knocks herself out of the seat. Wooden Potty Training Baby Chair which also serves as a chair to sit to eat and play games. Interesting chair.I would imagine circa 1940's? Seems to be in pretty good shape overall,solid and foldable. There is an insert in the seat that comes out for potty training. Why not train you baby to use a real wood chair instead of new plastic chairs seen on the market. Garanteed to be very old. Child's chair is solid and looks to be made of Mahogany or Walnut wood?
