This desk is in excellant condition. There is a small piece of trim missing from bottom right. The oil cloth is not original, it is black leather. It is dusty in picture but will clean up. The cubbies are origional drawers made of cardboard with metal pulls. the wood is in great condition and does not need refinishing.

Vintage rare Washburn B 20 bass guitar set neck p/j Signed by Vic Wooten
Hello. Up for auction we have this unique Washburn bass guitar made either in the very late 1970's or early 1980's. I've only seen a few of these basses and never in this color. Firstly I'll address the signature, I personally had this bass autographed by Victor Wooten about two years ago in Kansas City Missouri The place where I met him was by the Crossroads Kansas City music venue attached to a restaurant called Grinders. Each summer Grinders hosts numerous touring acts and I attended a Bela Fleck and the Flecktones concert. I had this bass with me and thought since Mr. Wooten has such a far out style of playing bass. That this bass deserved his signature. We met at a guitar store right around the corner from the stage called Midwestern Musical Co. and he kindly signed this bass. The bass is solid maple. Has very low action ... moreand an eye catching finish. the bass isn't especially heavy. I'd say around ten pounds. Original Grover tuners The bridge tone pot has sheered off.all four knobs are included pickups both work but the switch is cutting out in the middle position. Looks like DiMarzio pickups and I believe they're original although the bridge pickup cover has aged to a different shade of cream. Several screw holes on bottom and back where various attempts were made by a previous owner to balance the bass on a strap. It tends to want to dive forward when you're standing up. the thing plays great and has very little fret wear. Great variation of tones with this pickup combo. Nice long scale length. very unusual v shaped neck fretboard measures 1 1/2 inches at the nut brass nut. nut cavity is rough looking on the bass string side. Overall a cool old bass that I think is collectable and also very playable. You will likely want to have the pots updated and get this bass set up to play to your specifications. They have a description of each on the book itself so nobody else could use it. These books were necessary to buy certain types of food that were in short supply during World War II. This is a gorgeous show stopping Wooten desk circa late 1800's it has new hinges there is one spot where there was a broken piece of wood that has been put back on and is shown in one of the photographs it is sold as is it is a glorious piece of furniture and local pickup only unless you have a shipping method I will be glad to use. Wooton - Wooten( sp?) Desk drop front supports - 1 original and 2 reproductions
While repairing a Wooton desk for a customer some time ago. I needed to replace the drop front desk supports with 2 of the same length since one was missing and the other had a broken receiver flange as seen in the pictures. I kept the original as a pattern and had 4 made in steel at that time. Of course. I used 2 of the steel reproductions on the project so this is what is left. The original is cast iron and is more brittle than the steel. I doubt I'll ever work on another Wooton since they are so rare! I'm selling off my vintage& antique hardware and hoping someone can use these for their restoration or reproduction project. I might split off the original from the 2 reproduction supports if someone needs just that and makes me the right offer or I might sell the 2 reproduction supports again with the right offer! The last picture ... moreis from Antiquarian Trader's website showing what their reproductions cost. You can realize from this that I'm offering these at a really low price even if they are slightly irregular castings. These parts are mostly hidden and the areas of these that do show looks good in my opinion. As- Is. No returns! Ask any questions and I'll do my best to answer them.
