Vintage Oak Hoosier Style Cabinet By Klamer-Goebel Furniture Co. Evansville, IN
This is a beautiful old two piece Hoosier style bakers cabinet. It measures approx. 75" Tall x 26" deep x 42" wide. The counter top measures 48 1/4" wide as it overhangs the edges of the cabinet. The cabinet was made by the Klamer-Goebel Furniture Company in Evansville. Indiana. The label is still affixed to the back of the cabinet. If I had to guess the age of the cabinet, I would say that it is from the mid to late 1930's. It has been recently refinished which consisted of painstakingly stripping 3 layers of different colored paint and one coat of stain down to the original oak, then applying a coat of Sedona Red stain was applied to the outside of the cabinet in a manner which allowed the natural grains in the oak still to come through. if you zoom in the 1st picture you can see the natural grain of the oak! The ... moreinside of the cabinet was painted with a high grade paint and primer in a very similar color. The counter top is also oak and was also painted with the same color and sealed several times. New round casters were added to the bottom that are very similar to the original ones that were broken and not working. The color of this cabinet, which i consider to be close to a rich,warm cinnamon shade will go great with any color cabinets you have in your kitchen, white, medium or dark. There is a pull out biscuit prep board under the counter top. There are two tilt out bins on the bottom and a slide out drawer on the bottom left. There is no wood rot anywhere on the cabinet.The top middle door mirror is old and beveled with minor age spots and the other two top doors have an old frosted crackled ice type glass in them. There is also a smaller tilt out bin on the top middle with a drawer above it. Other than the cabinet being quite old and it's normal condition from age, there are no major defects whatsoever. A beautiful 1/4 sawn Tiger Oak Desk. made by Standard Furniture Company in Herkimer. NY. ca 1895- 1920. The top is about 30" deep and 50" wide& 1 1/2" thick. The build design allows you to get it into tight places. The top comes off of the pedestals and the stringers come out- makes it easy for one person to move. The pedestal feet are wrapped in brass and all the original hardware is intact. The drawers lock when the center drawer is in. This is a vintage Ranch Oak bookcase and cabinet made by A Brandt in Fort Worth. TX. The bookcase is made to sit on top of the cabinet, but the bookcase has been in storage for a few years. It is in good condition except for a few minor flaws. There is a small dent inside the bookcase. It appears that something fell on the back of the bookcase. You can't see the dent unless you open the bookcase doors or look at it from behind. There are some holes for screws in the back of the bookcase where you can attach the bookcase to the cabinet, but I don't have the hardware that holds these 2 together. Each piece is labeled with a part number and name, so it appears that they must have been sold separately. This is for local pickup in Irving, TX. I think that my grandmother purchased this in the late 1950s.

I have had this for over 30 years. was given to me as a teenager by a friend.have an extensive Children's ware collection and always had my EAPG Children's pieces displayed on it. looks beautiful with a punch bowl. Cups and glass candelabra's. Made around the turn of the century; is about 38" tall 9" deep 23" at widest. is oak with composite detail; detail is complete, no chips. Mirror was added by me in the style of the original large pieces(I took the pattern out of a antique oak furniture book) as the mirror was missing when I received it; is copper foil method not channeled lead. One door on left is not original but done well, glass pulls are not original but drawer pulls are. Red paint on inside is original. Has a few crayon marks on the back! Has been played with! One small piece at top of back is missing; ... morenot noticeable from front. Have pictured where some wear is on foot and level area of front above drawer. Finish is original except for replaced door. Extremely rare piece to find. have not seen another one in all my auction days. Is walker doll size. Please ask questions before any purchase. This stunning Western Secretary was first purchased in northern California Mining Town North and East of Sacrmento in the Gold country. It was brought from the East by covered wagon from maybe Pensylvania. I have owned it for over forty years and used it regularly for clothing storage and a bookcase. I had the drawers replace with new plywood box because you could not open them because the bottoms were warped. I realize that changes the value but you could not use the drawers and a piece of furniture has to be use full. The shelves in the upper bookcase are adjustable and the lock on the glass doors is original with a key to lock them. The drop down desk has many pockets and a drawer but the lock is missing. The bottom section of drawers do not lock but are on tracks so they open very easily and as stated above have been rebuild by plywood ... moreand are very serviceable. This item is located in Colorado near Durango in the Southwestern Four Corners area and would fit in a small truck. It comes apart in 3 sections with the following dementions: The top bookcase is: 43" wide x 16" deep x 40" tall The middle desk is: 42" wide x 18-1/2" deep x15-1/2" tall The bottom drawers is: 39-1/2" wide x19-1/2" deep x 29-1/2" tall and are on original caster wheels. Up for bid is a lot of vintage dollhouse furniture. There are two wood beds. By Mini Dreams, one is an oak Federal Four post bed, measures approx 6 1/2 x 5. The other white four poster bed measures approx 5 1/2 x 4. There is also a wood roll top desk, I do not know the brand name of this one. Vintage Quarter Sawn Oak Wood Liquor Cabinet/ Trifid feet! Antique Furniture
Beautiful Vintage trifid foot liquor cabinet. Made of quartersawm and oak wood. Trifid or Drake foot vintage furniture with the cabriole leg are characteristics of 18th century design. Mostly appears in Queen Ann-style,and Chippendale-style. American cabinet makers from Newport and Rhode Island also used this style in 1900 late Victorian era. Though I am not an expert, this is what I have found in researching this item. Both drawers, Bottom storage compartment, and both side curio doors have a script design key fixture with usable locks except for the top drawer does not lock. The top surface of the cabinet has a candle burn mark in the center(please see pictures for visual details) The lock and surface burn both look to be very fixable. This is a great vintage piece. 4 mid century wooden ottoman legs. 3 have cracks in bottom metal caps. Screws are present. Made of hardwood oak. Could use cleaning/light sanding. Great in a fix-it project.
