It has 2 rolled drawers and a large original mirror. It may be a Southern piece. It is a fresh local estate purchase from a Ga Octogenarian's home. This piece is in very nice condition. There are a few small repairs and a couple of areas that are missing veneer/ have damage. There is one small piece of molding that is missing between the drawers. The crotch mahogany is beautiful in its detail and color. The mirror is in very nice condition with a couple of small areas where it has a little silvering loss or ghosting. Antique Shaving/Vanity Mirror on Large Stand with 1 Drawer Check out this great shaving/vanity mirror. Has an Empire style look to it. The mirror has some age spots on it but is all intact. The wood case on this one is amazing. Still has what appears to be the original end nuts on the brackets that hold the mirror to the base. And check out the carved leaf details that are at the four corners of the mirror frame. The wood on the whole piece is immaculate. No chips cracks or splits on what shows on the outside. The bottom of the drawer is not split. Check out the bizarre doweling at the bottom and the dovetail only goes into the one side not the other. I found that to be very unique. I see no maker marking on this piece. The felt on the inside of the drawer was done more recently. Welcome to our ebay sales! ITEM DESCRIPTION: For your consideration is an Art Nouveau shaving stand with mirror. Circa 1880. The mirror is housed in a large solid maple frame with a curly maple base. The compartment on the base has a hinged lid and is lined with brown felt. The only veneer on the shaving stand is the 2" curved strip around the front of the compartment. Shaving stand has the original brass latches, as shown in the pictures below. Exceptional piece! SIZE: Shaving stand is 32-3/8" wide at the base and 27-1/2" tall. It is 26" wide to the outer edges of the harp and the mirror itself is 21-1/2" x 18-1/4" The base is 8" deep and 3" high. CONDITION: There are a couple very minor gliltches. Antique Vintage Large Vanity Dressing Tabletop Shaving Wooden Swivel Mirror
Antique Victorian style wooden swivel mirror for a tabletop vanity or dresser. Mirror may have also been used for shaving. The frame and base are wood. I am not sure what type of wood it is. But if I had to guess I would say Mahogany, but please determine for yourself. Approximate measurements are 21 1/2" tall, 18 1/2" wide at the base and 6 1/2" deep(at the base) The mirror appears to be original and has that antique mirror patina with small black specking throughout. This is the perfect mirror if you are looking for something that shows its age, character and patina. Condition of the glass is good and it has a beveled edge all the way around(set in about 1" there is some chipping of the glass up underneath the top of the wood frame, difficult to see unless you really looking(please see last photo) Condition of the wood ... moreis good with some wear, patina and cracking to the finish in spots. This piece an amazing antique look that you can only get with with age and time. Antique Tiger Oak Victorian Era c.1880 Round Shaving Mirror- On Tilting Frame- DESCRIPTION A handsome antique shaving mirror on tilting stand. Made entirely of solid tiger oak grained wood. The mirror frame, tilting arms, base and round ball feet all with beautiful graining visable. This one is from the late Victorian era circa 1880's. It's in original untouched condition, not refinished. It also retains the original mirror glass and backing for the round mirror. The round mirror frame is 1" wide and has a deep beveled edge. The two arms have knobs at the sides that can be loosened allowing you to tilt the framed mirror portion. Tightening the knob will then hold it in that fixed position. The arms have lovely turnings and are mortised through the wide shaped chamferred edge base. The base has four round ball feet. We've ... moreleft this as found. We have not polished or refinished the wood it is completly original. Shows good wear, but no splits or cracks or breaks in the wood. And we have not removed the original mirror glass from the frame. Antique Federal Inlaid Dressing/Shaving Stand With Mirror & Three Drawers
Antique Federal dressing/shaving mirror. It stands 30" tall. 22" across, and 10" wide. The shield shaped mirror alone is 23" x 14 1/2" It has line inlay, three feathers on each corner, and a conch shell in the center. There are three drawers. Two faux ivory discs, one on each side of the mirror. There is an old repair to a piece of inlay by the keyhole. The left side with the three feathers inlay has some damage. See pictures. I am not sure of the wood but it is a very deep dark brown. The mirror has been replaced my me as I wanted to use this on my own antique dresser. The frame of the mirror. And stand are in very good estate condition. See images. I bought this from a dealer in the St Petersburg area of Florida. Their expert there told me this was from the late 1880s. The shaving mirror has three rare claws in the front, while the back has two round dowel wood peg legs. This is one of the most beautiful antique shaving mirrors of its time you will find. The mirror is attached by ball swivel hinges by Cope& Austin which the company was started in 1760 and later became Cope& Collison in 1865. So with that being said this is truly a beautiful Shaving Vanity, that dates late 1700's early 1800's. Their hinges were supplied to Jackson& Graham Co, in 1836. which became highly sought after and recognized. The shaving mirror does come with a few minor flaws in the wood as shown in the pictures, in which I think can be fixed by a craftsman very easy. Their are two pull out rolled front finish draws. The hinges are stamped Cope& Austin Patent. The original screws were replaced as shown in the picture. I will take more pictures as needed. I will be charging $100.00 for shipping. Antique Dutch Marquetry three panel barley twist shaving mirror 19th
This three panel shaving mirror has outside panels that are removeable. The drawers are inlaid in the marquetry style with exotic woods. The central portion of the mirror is 26 ¾ inches wide. When the side panels are included it is 47 ¼ inches wide. The central mirror including the base is 37 ¾ inches high. The edges of all of the mirrors are beveled. The posts where the outside mirrors attach are barley twist. The storage portion at the bottom with the drawers is serpentine in shape. The drawers are dovetailed. The piece is in very good condition. It dates circa 1870. There are a couple of splits in the wood on the back of the large mirror.

1800's Walnut Tilting Shaving Mirror for Top Of Dresser
Here is a very early 1800's wooden shaving mirror. It is tiltable. I think the wood is walnut. Kind of looks like burled walnut on the mirror. The glass is in good shape. May have a little play in the mirror frame holding the glass. Could be removed and made tighter but it's not going to fall out. The frame does have a few places where the wood cracked over the year and has been glued back in place. One small piece of veneer missing on the side and its about an inch long half inch wide. Not noticeable since it's on the side. There is one small spot on the top of the mirror frame where it looks like the wood started to splinter and its been patched with some putty at one time. Very nice turned spindles holding the mirror. 1800s Eastlake Hand-Carved Mahogany Dresser Top Shaving Swivel Mirror w Drawer
This is an antique Eastlake hand-carved dresser cabinet with a swivel mirror and one drawer. Quite unusual and ornate in styling. Lots of hand-carved detailing including a lovely Victorian fern in a pot on the top of the drawer. The initials"DB" are carved into the pot of the fern. Perhaps this was made as a gift to"DB" In generally good condition with what appears to be the original finish. The mirror has a good deal of silver loss but no cracks or chips. It sits firmly and holds its position when swiveled. There is a small stress crack on the left rear corner(next to the mirror support) which has been repaired and is now quite stable. See close-up. A very beautiful and fine antique. Circa 1850's, mahogany shaving or vanity stand with adjustable mirror. The serpentine mahogany base is on four bun feet, the elevation with finely figured mahogany veneers. The mahogany mirror uprights are carved as acanthus scrolls, the mirror frame with figured veneers. It measures 34" tall by 31" wide by 12-1/2" deep at center. Mirror glass measures 18-1/2" by 24-1/2" Very good plus condition: original finish, beautiful color to the woods. Three small veneer chips to the mirror frame. Small spot on back of mirror with silver loss and some spotting near.

This beauty stands a whopping 33" tall. Is 28" wide, and 11.5 deep. She has lots of chips and a patch job. Please view pictures carefully. I have tried to take pictures of all of it so you can see them. I think the top it is mahogany veneer. The dolphins are 1" thick, 6.5" wide, and 21" tall. The side drawers are 6.25 wide; middle drawer 9.5. From bottom to top of shelf is 6" Mirror[which has been replaced] is 16.25 wide and 21 3/8 tall[this is sight for mirror, not including the frame] When I bought it years ago I made sure the key worked and opened it and locked it several times before buying it. Key has always been in drawer that doesn't lock, now for the life of me I can't get it to unlock! Fine dovetail joints. Obviously built by a true craftsman. Signs of a paper label on back. Antique Gem De Luxe Razor Swivel Suction Cup Shaving Mirror Vintage Gillette
Wow this is a very rare old Gem.De.Luxe shaving mirror. I couldn't find another one anywhere on the net. only a few razors of that brand. It has a spin down suction cup base. The old suction cup is hard as a rock from age so it wont work. But its all there. The mirror is real good just a light area of alligatoring. Its nickel plated not sure about the base metal I believe some brass some steel(the swivel clamp has a little surface rust. Stands 10" tall. The mirror is 5 1/4" in diameter. The base is 2 3/4" in diameter. It will stand up with out the suction cup working but is not real stable.

With intricately carved floral motifs in the sides that are holding up the mirror. There is a small pull out drawer at the bottom of the mirror for easy storage of toiletry items. This excellent mirror would make a great addition to any antique collection! Shows slight wear. Overall in VERY GOOD condition for its age. Measures 22 1/8" tall by 13 3/4" wide.
