This statue is solid and very heavy. It weighs probably close to 100 lbs. It measures approx. 44" tall by 25" at the widest from the elbow to end of other arm. He stands flat on his square base. This is wired for electric if you decide to add a lantern but the wire seems like its cut pretty close near the end of the arm. The base wire extends out a couple inches. You can see both in the pictures. You might want to have an electrician replace the wire. You could always have just a metal ring which would be suitable for hitching a horse. There are no large cracks. Chips, or major damage noted. There are hairline cracks all over consistent with age and use. The ... morepaint is worn in different areas. Cast Iron Rotary Hoe Spike Wheel ~Approx 18" diameter ~weight just under 13 pounds ~4" wide at the center ~Center hole is 1.5" diameter ~16 spikes- no loose or broken spikes. This spike wheel came off a John Deere piece of equipment. Hard to read. But it looks like H 486D is on the wheel, near the center. This spike wheel would look great in any garden or yard! I got these from a farmer that said he replaced them and then hardly used them. As you can see little on no wear although plenty of patina from just sitting in dirt and snow. The piece is completely hand heated and wrought by hand and made with an abundance of very ornate detailing and made by a true blacksmith. it is made from very thick iron. Antique Wood Planter with Metal Insert Cottage Rose Collection
Very sweet vintage plant stand with metal insert. It can be used to hold plants or reverse the metal insert it and it makes a nice display table. I have not put holes into it so if you want it to drain for live plants that will be simple enough to do. 30 inches tall x 28 long and 11.5 inches deep. It has been painted a butternut squash yellow and linen white using Benjamin Moore Paint. This can be shipped but since the first of the year prices for shipping has gone up. I have for auction this very decorative& unique garden accessory. An old verdigris spigot mounted on a freestanding wood backsplash. The spigot& wood are old but in 1999 D. Baione added a handpainted vine of green leaves to frame the spigot. The painting is well done& does serve to enhance the decorative effect of the piece. This auction is for an old planter. It has a great industrial steampunk look. It has some great patina and with some oiling of the parts could easily be used again. You would wear this piece with the canvas part going over your neck and the half round part around your belly waist and then turn the handle spraying seeds in front of you as you walk. The canvas area is pretty shot and would need to be replaced but at least some of it is still there to use a template most do not have any of this left. Ohio, according to a large and elaborate printed advertisement on the wooden back board of the bellows. The unit measures 9-1/2" tall x 10-1/8" wide x 4-3/4" wide and it weighs 1 pound 5 ounces. It was found at a local estate auction of an old country antique store. The bee smoker still works. Although the leather bellows would not last very long in regular use. The leather is in a very decorative state of decay with its beautiful textured appearance as can be seen in the photos. The tin smoker has some rust and surface wear, but no dents from its use over the years. All of this contributes to the patina that certainly adds to its visual ... moreappeal. Vintage Antique Cast Iron Architectural Garden Lion Head Statue Planter Pot
This measures approx 29" back to paw18.5" from top of head to floor. There's a little bit of concrete in the bottom. You can see it in the pictures. I believe this was a statue that someone made into a planter by adding the concrete. So it can serve 2 purposes. The concrete helps to hold the dirt but it's not all the way through. This has a weathered look and there is rust. I noticed a groove in the head that looks like a piece may have broke off at some time and there's a spot on the bottom that's the same. This is old and it's not perfect. It has a very rustic look to it. It's so very unusual. The patterns are beautiful and unique. Antique CROSS MANUFACTURING Apple Cider Press Beautiful unrestored condition
You are looking a a beautiful Cross Apple Cider Press. This press was made in the late 1800's. This can be identified by the forged steel and the hot rivets that were used during construction. The press is in unrestored condition, and shows the beautiful original paint on the side uprights. The uprights also show the Gross Manufacturing and location stamped into the wood. The press has been a decorative piece for the last 25 years that I have owned it, and I have not tried to use it. Vintage Metal Wire Dish Strainer Drainer On offer is a wonderful old wireware dish drainer with a utensil tray which. I believe, is early 20th century. A primitive and charming item, it measures 16" by 12-¼" and is 4" tall bottom to top. The utensil tray is hinged onto the side via wire loops, so it does not come off as is, and it measures 11-¼" by 4" by 1-½" deep. Structurally, it is sound and the wires are straight, not bent.
