Abalone iron, This is a vintage abalone iron used by commercial divers in the channel islands. Both sides are sharp for cutting kelp while looking for abalone. Original conditions. Made of steal. This iron belonged to the legendary Jack Prodanovich. Jack passed away in 2008. It was made by Valor#12520 made in Japan ORIGINAL AB IRON: Stainless steel Japan. Blade has rust spots. 3 Mid Century Vintage Danish Made in Denmark Solid Rosewood Stacking Tables
This auction is for a set of 3 Vintage Solid Rosewood Danish Stacking Tables. The largest one measures approx. 23 3/4" by 14 7/8" and stands approx. 19" high. The middle one is approx. 20 3/8" by 13 1/2" and stands 18" high. The smallest is approx. 17" by 11 1/16" and is approx. 17" high. They have sturdy legs and there are no splits. Cracks, shrunken seams or repairs. The surfaces are very good but do show minor signs of age and wear. I have not applied any oil or other enhancements to them in any way. They are as originally found and for their age I would say they are quite good. The only mark is an impressed stamp, Made in Denmark, see photos. This beautiful mahogany 3 tier pedestal table stands 41 inches tall. The 3 table tiers measure 12 1/2 inches. 17 1/4 inches, 23 1/4 inches respectively. The table has been lovingly restored to its original glory. There is what looks like a glue mark on the top of the middle table top at the base of the center column. There is a small nick on the finish of one of the feet that shows in the last picture. There is also what looks like a black or darkened spot on the lower table a few inches from the edge, it measures approximately 1/2 an inch long and 1/4 inch wide. The color difference between the second picture and the rest of the pictures is from the flash being used in all but that second picture. The true color is closer to the pictures with the flash, but the flash does make it appear a bit brighter than in person. For auction is a poplar dining table that is 30 7/8" tall. 36" wide and 11' 11 1/2" long. The table was made by the Amish and constructed from poplar wood found in an old barn in Kentucky. Old Wood is making tables from a reclaimed factory cool that is a WOW table top. Even sanded down. It is a full 1 1/2" thick top, tongue and groove with beautiful patina that only comes from antique, heart pine. Many boards are vertical grain with few knots. Tapered, original faced legs compliment this table. Dimensions: 78" x 40" x 30" We also have instock an 84" x 40" along with a bench and can custom make any size necesssary. This table still has its original finish and it has always been extremely well cared for. There are no cigarette burns. Water marks, or any repairs on this table. Mid Century modern Danish teak coffee table by Trioh of Denmark is in fantastic condition with very little signs of wear/ use. You would be hard pressed to find an item of this vintage in better shape. These are almost always missing some of the cane work on the lower shelf. But this has 100% of the original cane work! There is one piece of cane that has detached from frame, but is all there(see photo) Also, there seems to be a small crack where the shelf connects to the frame, which has no effect on either the aesthetic or structural quality of this fine piece. Table measures 59" by 20 1/2" by 16 1/2" high. Overall, this is about as good as it gets! We have replaced our sofa/ loveseat with new oversized ones, so this table no longer fits our living room, so it will sell with NO RESERVE! Description Offered for sale is an S. Bent& Bros. Inc. Vintage Maple 48" Round Extension Table with Two 9" Leaves. This table was manufactured in Gardner. Massachussetts and I believe it to be circa 1970's. The table has a very thick solid maple top with a beautiful grain. It appears to have been refinished on the top because the finish is in excellent shape and only has a few slight scratches on the surface. The legs are turned and have a spoonfoot. The feet do have wear. Chips and scratches(see pics#9-12 for close-ups) The table measures 48" round and will extend to 48" x 66" when both leaves are used.
