This is a mates chair and although it have those little stubby"arms" it is not to be confused with the actual captain's chair of this style that has much longer arms. These were produced for a number of years by Ethan Allen for a few of their lines including Traditional and Early American. There is no damage to the chair and only a few tiny dings or scratches from normal use. There is very light wear to the very tip of the top rail and tip of the"arms" All the joints are nice and tight. It is in the popular nutmeg color and the finish is very good. It has been thoroughly cleaned and polished with butchers wax. It is 29 1/2" tall with a 17" seat height. The height of those stubby"arms" is only 25 1/4" so these chairs can be tucked tightly under the apron of most tables. Leaving more floor space in a smaller dining area. As for the chair it is very comfortable due to the great formed seat work that Ethan Allen was noted for in all of their lines from this period. It is constructed of maple and built to last for generations. As always, feel free to ask any questions and I'll get right back to you. Beautiful Vintage Ethan Allen Campaign Cherry Wood 24" Small Chest Canova Line
For your consideration is an Beautiful Vintage Ethan Allen Campaign Chest/Nightstand from the Canova line! It is a wonderful little piece as you can see. Measuring just 23" tall, 21 7/8" wide at th base and 14 5/8" deep. Has a few areas of wear and tear as shown, a couple small hits to the front shown in the last photo and a rough spot on the top where it feels like perhaps a doiley or something like that had fused to the finish at some point. Overall it's a bit nitpicking though, as it really is a wonderful piece as you can see. Pickup can be done in Putnam. Connecticut free of charge, otherwise delivery is as quoted, shipped in a custom built wooden box, won't be extremely cheap but will arrive safely. 1950s/60s Ethan Allen Baumritter Vermont Maple tall chest of drawers
Here is a vintage Ethan Allen Baumritter Vermont maple chest of drawers. This 1950s/ 1960s chest stands 46 in tall by 34 in wide and 19 in deep. Its in very good condition. It has scratches, a ding on the top of a drawer( see photos) There is a seam separation, which is visible up close on the top. Its very tight, a refinish overall would fix that. Its completely solid and sturdy, nothing lose. The Vermont maple construction makes this too heavy to ship. Pick up only. The drawers move easily and are clean. Just 50 years of overall wear but you wont find a better set of drawers these days. Can you imagine what Ethan Allen would charge for this piece today? Solid maple. Just beautiful. Any questions. Vintage Ethan Allen Fireplace Log Box. Item is pictured in our 1970's Ethan Allen Treasury Catalog. A stunning piece for display. Measures 20" x 13 1/4" x 15 1/2"h. Metal box with a raised tin type material featuring pictures of Ann Hathaways Cottage on top and a neat village scene of The Inn on the front. Metal feet hold the box off the floor. An extremely rare find. Great for display by the fireplace. Item is used and shows its age. Has a few dents to the pictures. Beautiful Small. Salesman Sample) Ethan Allen Bombay Chest Three Drawer Found at estate sale auction and could not resist. I had never seen anything quite like it. I had to do some research to discover that it was a salesmans sample. All drawers open and close well. The style or shape is very unique. It is vintage. Not new, there are minor flaws. Be sure to read Condition Description! Made in Italy This little chest measures approximately 18& 1/4 inches across the top back. 11& 3/8 inches width, 19& 3/4 inches high. This might work well in a childs room, or just a great conversation piece, something your friends won't have. A good fit for someone who collects antiques or vintage.
