The mirror is in very good condition, with a one inch bevel around ... morethe perimeter. The frame of the mirror is solid wood, most likely mahogany. There are a couple of trim pieces on the bottom front edges of the frame that are loose, and one of them is missing. The frame of the mirror is otherwise in good condition, and it has obviously been well cared for. It is a very old piece, and in great condition considering it is over 100 years old. It is done in the beautiful Eastlake style with carved accents, fluted pillars on each side at the front and a gallery top. The mirror is 51.5" top to bottom, about 2.5" front to back, and 35.5" side to side. It is a beautiful Eastlake design pier mirror that is sure to be a welcome addition to your antique collection.

The inside mattress area measures 57 1/2 inches wide by 74 3/4 inches long and should fit a full size mattress set nicely, but one should always measure their own mattress set to assure proper fit. The height from the floor to the top of the sides rails at the enter measures 14 3/4 inches.The bed sets up solid and tight and very sturdy. Though I did take a closeup of a dark line you can feel, on one leg, and a closeup of the same leg on other side. As you can see, the line does not go all way through, so I do not know what it is. It has been finished with a lovely marble surface and a large mirror top. The mirror has a beautiful and ornate carved design. Three large drawers sit below the marble surface. The drawers have dovetailed construction. All of the drawers are 33" wide and 14" deep. The top drawers is 6 1/8" tall. The middle is 7" tall and the bottom is 8 1/2" tall. The entire set-up measures 86" in height. It is 41 3/4" at the widest point. And 17 3/4" deep. It weighs approximately 177 pounds. The exposed marble surface measures 40 7/8" by 13 3/4" This is in great. Antique condition overall with some general signs of age and use. There are no visible cracks or repairs. The mirror may be a replacement, since it is not beveled, but it is still a lovely match. There is a slight separation in the joint at the top of the mirror arch. There was a worn piece of wrapping paper around this little mirror. And just one piece of it was saved. The last photo shows that paper! It has"1 Augest Thonsen 1878" That's what it looks like to me, but maybe I'm not seeing it correctly! The overall size of this old mirror is 8" x 14 1/2" tall. The actual mirror size is 5 1/2" x 9 3/4" tall. An expert said it is diamond dust, but I can't guarantee that. The best way to tell if it really is diamond dust is when it's damaged. This one is in encased in wood with screws and has been in a dry climate(Denver) for over 136 years, so there's no damage! The"burled" walnut is a veneer, and that's easy to see when you look at the back of it! Eastlake antique dresser with mirror & marble top 4 drawers
I wish I knew more about this dresser but I don't. I bought it at an estate sale& it really is in excellent condition. It has 4 drawers total. 2 top& bottom& then 2 smaller ones along the the top. The drawers move smooth& the mirror& marble are in excellent condition. The marble is a redish brown color. The top is all carved wood. It is all original. All drawers work well. One of the drawers has a square of yellow paint on the inside front. Also. There is one solid brass drawer pull that does not match all the others. I found. A semi match in a salvage shop in Aurora. Oregon. I currently have this piece in my living room and it looks gorgeous. Way to nice. To have tucked away in a bedroom. 41.5"inches across. 20.75"inches deep. 29.5"inches tall. Drawers are 35.75 by 15"inches with 5.5"inch depth.
