Amazingly beautiful extremely well built cabinet is solid and well made. It features teak wood and is wood inside too. There is no particle board in this cabinet. It can serve in a multitude of ways as a dresser, credenza, display case and cabinet. A drop down hinged cabinet door section features a oval recessed brass pull. Inside this section you will find a matching teak tray that can be used for serving when entertaining. Scranton Attic. Kroehler Mid Century Modern Walnut Server/ China Cabinet. Wonderful. Walnut server made by"Kroehler" around the middle of the previous century. It is a single unit; the top and bottom halves do not separate. The lower half has a 2-door cabinet and 3 drawers. The upper half has a single door cabinet, another cabinet with 2 sliding glass doors, and 3 drawers. I think the round drawer pulls are original, and the door pulls are replacements. There is an adjustable shelf in both upper cabinets. The shelf in the glass door cabinet has a groove running from side to side. To allow you to stand your China. Unfortunately, we only have 3 of the shelf pins to hold the shelves in place; more could be purchased at a hardware store. The upper 3 drawers are lined with black felt, and have a wooden divider in the middle running from ... morefront to back for utensils. Restoration: This piece was salvaged from an affluent home in Northeastern Pennsylvania. When we found it. The finish was faded by sunlight and the wood was dry. Since then. We've oiled the piece several times to re-moisturize the wood and bring out the original beauty of the finish. We cleaned the glass doors and the hardware. We also tightened all screws from top to bottom, and now it's frame is tight and sturdy. The finish. For the most part is in very good condition. However, there are a few spots where the finish is in fair condition(i.e. the top of the lower cabinet and the sides) I personally look at it as a unique characteristic that provides insight into the server's past, and also as the character marks that distinguish it from any other piece like it. This beautifully crafted all-wood vintage dresser has two gorgeous wood pullouts inside the triple-door upper section and two large lower drawers. This piece is painted in a midnight blue-black to jazz it up and make it stand out. The original solid brass hardware in a diamond shape has been polished and accents the dresser brilliantly. It's an older piece. Made in a time when they knew how to make furniture, by a company called Fancher. The drawer boxes are solid oak and dovetailed. The pullout upper drawers are sectioned to organize accessories or garments. Immaculate condition. Ready for use, waxed finish. Drawers work perfectly. The middle upper door is slightly warped at the closure, but does not affect the appearance or function of this fantastic vintage piece. This is an AMAZING. HAND-CARVED, one-of-a-kind, signed primitive folk art cabinet by a Bay Area artist that lived to be over 100 years old. Clarence H. Street did this hand carving in 1968. The cabinet is signed inside the door. And he also carved the asking price of $1,000,000! One million dollars. Carved wording says, C. H. Street, 1-27-68, $1,000,000.00. I'm sure he was joking, but I really think he should have gotten 1 million. It is fabulous. Also inside the cabinet is a piece of tape that is hand-written. Made by Clarence H. Street. Lived to be over 100 yrs. I bought this from a lady who also had primitive folk art paintings done by him. I wasn’t able to get the paintings. But I was very excited to get this cabinet. The woman I bought it from said that he was a Bay Area San Francisco artist. I don’t know if he was well-known, or ... moreanything else about him. I tried to research this further, and found a person with that name that lived to be 101 years old, nothing significant, so I decided to just keep it and use it for a spice cabinet. However, I am trying to pare down my possessions. The cabinet has a carved face. Much sailing and seafaring symbolism: compass, sextant, anchors, seagulls, stylized sun with tree roots, clouds, gold and silver painted highlights, all on a carved tree ring background, signed and dated inside. Face of cabinet is about 11/12 inches wide by 24 inches tall. Actual cabinet is about 11 1/8 inches wide. 23 ¼ inches tall, 3 ¾ inches deep. Has 5 shelves, with hinged door and closure. Rosewood Mid Century Modern Packard Bell stereo cabinet credenza Danish Knoll
This was the Packard Bell flagship model. Has original hang tag on stereo- says"150 watts" Extremely well constructed Rosewood cabinet with a hinged door on each side for the speakers. Has a great design that makes it look like a Florence Knoll cabinet. PLEASE NOTE: The cabinet displays well- but does have some inconsistencies to the clear coat finish on the wood. I cleaned off the many years of accumulated surface dust with some furniture polish. In one pic I have the speaker cloth covers removed to show the speaker setup. There are no veneer chips or gouges or deep scratches but there are some imperfections. I don't feel that they detract from the overall impact of this piece- but I want to be clear that it is a nice looking vintage piece that is not perfect. There are some faint waves to the veneer in a few areas- not actual ... morebubbles or lumps- just some faint waves. You can kind of make it out in the pics so please look at them and email any questions. There are a few areas on the surfaces that have a slight haze when you look at them from certain angles in direct light. The chrome on the legs is not rusted and is in nice condition without pits. There are no water stains or sun fading areas- but there is a small area on the top surface of the far left side that has a slight light spot. This side also has some very light feathery scratches. There is also an area to the front panel- center bottom where there is a slight light area to the finish- you can see both of these areas in the pics. I don't want to make the piece sound bad- just trying to go over the top and be super critical so that I convey the piece accurately. The cabinet is ready to display as is- but if you wanted perfection it would certainly be an easy piece to restore. This is a seldom seen model of vintage Packard Bell stereo equipment. Here is a nice old wood table top or wall hanging small curio cabinet display shelf. Stands 15 1/2" tall to the top of decorative piece on top. 13" wide, and 4 1/2" deep. Three shelfs in the middle with a PLEXI glass door, and sides are plexi glass also. Four wood feet are the same design as the finials on top of cabinet. I'm not sure what kind of wood it is. I would say the finish is a Cherry tone. Shelfs and frame is a good sturdy wood, the backing is a thinner type. There are a few scratches on the front plexi glass, I do not know if they will buff out or not. Young Hinkle was known for quality furniture items from the 50's and 60's and is still in high demand for those looking for a vintage feel. Young Hinkle was known for its bedroom furniture so finding a buffet and hutch is far less common. I searched the internet and did not see another. The pictures depict ONE complete set. A set is comprised of One buffet cabinet and One Hutch. Buyer MUST take both pieces of the set. I will not piece out this item. NO exceptions. Material: Solid Maple. Some of the internal compartments are oak. A very nice item with lots of life left in it! The main base piece has 2 small pull out drawers. 4 medium pull out drawers and 2 cabinet openings with adjustable shelving ... morewithin them. The hutch has 2 cabinet openings. One pull out drawer and 3 tiers with lots of display space. Sizing: When the hutch is attaches. The whole unit stands 75" tall, 54" wide, and 18" depth. The lower alone is(32½"H. 54"W, 18"D) The Hutch is(~42.5"H, 51¼"W, 10½"D) Condition: Excellent for its age. There is a broken knob on the left cabinet door(base piece) This can easily be replaced. There is slight separation in the panel groove of that same cabinet door with the broken knob. This can also be easily remedied. VINTAGE Aluminum HOOSIER cupboard inserts
I do not know the origin of this piece. My guess is that it came out of some sort of Hoosier-type cupboard as an insert. It measures 19 inches long. It is 12 1/ 4 inches wide. and 9 inches deep. The right door with the air holes slides to the left. There are some tiny pin size flecks of rust. But nothing of signifigance. It does have wear marks where the right door slid to the left over and over again. Also slightly dented on left middle side. It probably will look even better shined and polished, but I have not done that. If I had to guess the age, I would guess the 1950's. If anyone has more info than me, please, drop me a note.

Mid Century Modern credenza- petite size. Nice walnut tamboured door reveals cabinet space for media/audio equiptment with a sizable rounded rectangle hole in the bottom. This unit has been refinished and shows minute issues- some rubbed spots on the tamboured doors as seen in pic 9. Slight edge wear in pic 10. This piece does not have any markings. It measures 38" x 29" tall x just over 18" deep. The inside area measures 28" long(from the area where the tamboured door rolls in on track) to right side x 18" tall x 16.5" deep to where the door closes. P lease ask questions or for more photos. The craftsmanship is excellent. the design is gorgeous. top has wear and would be nice to refinish. 77" long. 20.75" depth. 31 5/8" height. Drawers in center are 33.5" wide. Drawers on the side are 16" wide. For all items that need refinishing. I provide complimentary shipping to a skilled refinisher or upholsterer here in chicago. Vintage Mirror & Metal Wall Medicine Cabinet Shabby Chic
Here's an old vintage metal medicine cabinet with a mirror. I took this off the wall out of a bathroom in a Los Angeles-area home that's full of vintage items from the 50's. 60's, and 70's a few years ago, and have left it untouched and unrestored. It's now time to pass it onto somebody who can appreciate it. Measures 20" H x 14" L x 5" deep. Weighs about 6 lbs. It has some condition issues. The mirror has stress cracks on the upper left corner and lower left corner(see 3rd and 4th photos) The green and yellow paint is not original. There's rust and a large dent on the top of the cabinet. Overall it is in pretty good condition. It has that period look from the 50's. The door is sturdy and opens and closes with no problem.
