Dating from the 1920/30's this beautiful ... moreold crystal table lamp is stunning. The lamp is formed from two pieces of cut crystal. The circular base has a small arch on its rim to allow the electrical flex to pass. A heavy column is finished with a deep circular rim to receive the actual globe. The globe. As is the stand, is deeply sliced in geometric patterns that refract the light beautifully. The electical fitting is finished in chrome with porcelain and brass internal parts. Three prongs pass down the inside of the crystal column to secure the light fitting in place. The newly fitted silver/white flex is of vintage style: cloth covered and braided. A vintage bakelite toggle switch allows the lamp to be switched on/off when plugged in. Dimensions: The lamp measures 32cm tall. The globe is approximately 16cm in diameter. The fitted braided flex measures 1m. 1644g's. Condition. The lamp is in good used antique condition. The crystal is clean. Bright and free from cracks and chips. The electical socket is clean with minor age related tarnish and complete and fully functional. The torpedo switch is clean with a lovely polished lustre and fully functional. These antique hand carved piece of wood are from a rocking chair that was made in the 1800s. I saw the original piece when it was together and it saw pretty small. Not child size, but small. There is a total of 12 pieces. Everything was carved to fit p eg in hole or dove tail type. There is original old green paint still apparent on several pieces.While totally weathered away on others. I had these for some time hoping to make hooks, frames or other cool thin gs. But now they gotta go. The two longer pieces are 35.5" long, the 5 skinny dowel are varied sizes from 13" 14" The intricately carved dowels are 2, 13" and 1, 15.5" The last two pieces are wood where the canning ran through. U[p for bid is a terrific vintage advertising brick from the Fulcher and Dyas Company of Nashville. Tn. It is in good condition for its age, with the shown dings and losses, but nothing major or unsightly, and it is in otherwise VERY solid condition. The pictures show two different colors, because midway through the shoot, a bead of sweat fell off my forehead and onto the nrick, and after wiping it, the red color underneath just"popped" We left it alone though, and just snapped some quick shots and it dried nearly immediately. One of the Washburn brothers committed suicide. All the workers were called in by the remaining brother and told. Business is bad. Many left the brickyard and even Glasco to find other work. Many went to Athens and Hudson to work on other brickyards and in the cement plants. As you realize. Listing tonight is a very nice[ shabby-rusty chic at its finest] former climbing stair rail. These were removed many years ago from a relatives house and were used as garden hardscape for many years. It is not the prefab stuff you would find in the ranch houses of the 1970's. Its the custom made hand welded stuff that cost a lot back then. It would make the best garden path divide that would also be a climbing structure. It's original garden debut did not do it justice but it has lots of potential to make a statement. It features a scroll design in the pickets and a rolled end and mount on the other end. It is 65 inches long and about 4 steps of coverage. Someone told me yesterday that she believes they are the molds that you would use to press into the plaster or clay. Then when this is dry. this would then create the mold that you would pour the plaster into. I hope that makes sense and I hope that is truly what this is. Anyway. this person said she believes they are vintage. If not antique. But I will leave that for the bidder to determine. The largest one measures about 8" x 6.5" They are made of some sort of galvanized ... moremetal/tin. There are 4 of each design. They are fairly heavy. weighing about 2.5 pounds(all together) Condition is very good. no breaks or holes in the metal. But they do have some remnants of dried plaster(or some kind of dried substance) I have not tried to clean. I am just selling as is. Hollywood Regency French Gueridon Table Wrought Iron
